Eric watched as Loki tried to show that he was listening by repeating the move. It came to the Huntsman that this man knew how to use a dagger. That was a relief. He also recalled that he had the grace in his movements with the knife. It was fluid, almost feline. He then noticed that he stopped and hesitated. He was probably tired or that he didn't have the guts to kill a person. "Well, you might not have a choice", he told him before he took the dagger back from his hand and continued walking.
He saw Loki's hesitation but proceeded nonetheless. "Which is your lead foot?", he asked him before he suddenly charges at him as if he was about to attack hm. "Right, someone comes at you, you raise this arm up, you block and you use your strength against them", he said as he shows him the move with his own dagger. "You're just about the right height, so wait until they're close and you drive it through their heart, to the hilt. You understand?", he asks him to make sure he was following. "You do not hesitate. You look in their eyes and do not pull out until you see into their soul", he finishes.
Eric looked back at Loki as he had the cloak on. He had to admit that he looked better with it than his previous shirt. He then noticed that he was trying to fix his hair a little. He looked away from the male before taking a small knife from its holster. "I wanna show you something. Take this", he hold out the dagger for Loki to take.
Eric kept walking for who knows how long. With this male that he has been dragging the whole way, he was definently slowing them down. Going this way and that. Under and over the roots and branches of the trees. He was about to walk over a fallen tree before he heard Loki shouting for help behind him. He turns around and sees the male tangled in the branches of the tree as he struggled. Without wasting time, Eric take out a small ax and chops the branches off him. "The forest that you said that was home, is now targeting your weakness", he absently rips the dirty and obsolete shirt off of Loki's body right after he said so. As soon as he does so, he finds a black cloak that was on the ground and tosses it to him. It was clean since he dipped it in the water that was nearby. "Don't flatter yourself"
Wanna continue with that post? This is the part where Loki has another hallucination when he got caught by the branches of a tree.
"I happen to mention that there was another death too", Sally spoke up. "A Latin couple were residing in the room before the husband snuck a cigarette in the bathroom until he was attacked. His wife, however, was bludgeoned to death while she was sleeping", she finished as she read the file on the couple.
Eric listened to what Loki told him about the once sacred part of the forest. He also said something about a mother. He had a mother? Eric's parents were long gone now. His own family was falling apart. Both of his brothers dead and his parents were long gone as well as his wife. This reign of Ravenna has taken its toll on him. Not to mention that he will kill once he gets back to Asgard. "I'm...sorry", Eric said as he dragged his feet while he walked towards the male and came next to him. "Yes I have. I have passed it during a hunting spree I had in here. I didn't see anything in here until now that you mentioned that this was your mother's shrine", he tells him as he looked at the plants that decayed as well as the trees. "Listen, we better keep moving", he hesitantly put a hand on his shoulder to get his attention at least.
Eric watched as Loki passed him and walking through the forest. He quietly followed the male until he noticed an area that was sacred. He has remembered walking through here before but not like this. He looked around as he noticed how dark and decaying it was. It used to be beautiful the last time he visited. But now? How can feel such pity? He heard crying up ahead until he saw the male have tears in his eyes as he looked at the dying part of the temple. Someone must have died here that this man loved deeply. A wife perhaps? A family member? A dearest friend? Maybe this was his home. "Hey. Are you alright?", Eric asked him as he walked to him from behind until he stood next to him. "What is this place?", he looked around once more.
Eric crossed his arms as he watched Loki's body language. There was nervousness in the male's voice as well as a hint of courage. It was slightly amusing to see in the young weak male. He listened to him as he gave him the price of his reward. He then listened as he watched him beg. He finally gave a sigh. "I still don't trust you. But you have a deal", he finally says before he spits in the palm of his hand and holds his hand out for him to shake.
