Eric watched Loki in the distance as they set up camp. Maleficent watched as her son went to a butterfly bush and the insects flew about all over him. She had to admit that Loki looks like a little kid again when she saw him laughing. Sitting on the rock nearby, she watched as Loki approached Eric. Eric watched the fae approach him and he gazed on him with a face in smitten.

Maleficent looked at Eric dead in the eye as she heard Loki talking to her. She felt his grip on her wrist which held the knife. "My name's Eric", Eric spoke up as he rolled up his sleeve which revealed no tattoo like Thor. Maleficent's facial expression softened as she saw Eric show proof. "I'm sorry", she said softly as she pulled away. "After what has happened to us, I just felt vengeance upon myself. My apologies, Eric", she said to him.

How much she missed him. His Raven black hair, his soft voice, and his childish mind. He was her whole world. Her companion. Breaking the hug as he did, she heard his question while he examined her. "Your friend, Diaval, my son. He saved me from the black magic of the queen. Only...he suffered in the blast", she said in sorrow. She turned to see Eric as Loki looked at him. "You", she said to him. Getting out of Loki's grip, she approached him in anger. "You! You savage, greedy, dirty man!", she shouted as she took a dagger from her cloak that was the same knife that Loki put on her body before freezing. As she walked at him, Eric backed away before his back hit a tree and the knife was at his throat. "Stabbed me in the heart. Betraying us!", she said with anger. In her mind, she thinks Eric is Thor...

She searched his emerald green eyes, knowing that it was him. She sighed in relief as he nodded to the calling of his name. He was really here. Alive and well. Her time in the water thought that he would have been captured and she never see him again. She would have blamed herself for putting him in such danger. She felt him take her in a hug. It was a loving hug and she accepted it, wrapping her own arms around his neck. Again, he was taller than her. Her head going to about and above his shoulders, not including her horns. "I know", she answered him in her usual soft voice. She stroked his long black hair in a loving gesture.

Eric felt himself make a smile to himself as he watched them. He made a couple of steps to the pair, but not too close.

Maleficent watched the fairies as she smiled to see them fly. As she heard Loki's voice, she frowned before her eyes widened and that she turned slowly around to see him. She made a face of disbelief as she examined him. His facial appearance as well as his hair. She kept this face on as she raised her well manicured hand and traced it down the side of his face. "Loki?", she whispered before she used her other hand to mirror the actions of her other one. She sighed in happiness before a smile came to her. Her motherly love smile. "You made it, my son", she said softly with unshedded tears of joy.

Eric watched in awe as he saw the scene before him. Was this the mother that Loki told him about? He made a couple of steps so he was in front of the group of dwarves to watch the pair before him.

The water rippled as Loki touched it, but they began to bubble. As the water bubbled rapidly, the figure of Maleficent began to rise from the water until she was in a standing position above the water. A flock of Ravens began to fly towards the hovering body before they began to circle around her. Her hair rose before it was morphed into a black horned headdress before a black long sleeved cloak with a collar morphed on her body. Then her whole body began to glow and it dissipated before her yellowish eyes opened and she lowered herself before she touched the water surface. She didn't look at the group as she was was looking to her left side and staring straight ahead before a staff formed in her hand. She kept walking until she stopped before a pair of fairies and she sang the same tune they sang. Her hands sat on top of her staff as she watched the fairies fly away. If only someone would get her attention...

((Just to be sure, the black dress she is wearing is not the one from the Christening. It's the black dress she wore when she went to the castle to wake Aurora))

Eric tried to turn to look at Loki but couldn't. He thought about the pieces of a puzzle in his head before they were cut down. He groaned in pain as he landed.

Eric followed Loki from behind as he watches the fae look around him. The next thing he realized is they were coming up to a small pond. He couldn't help but widen his eyes. A body floated inside the water. It looked female with pale skin, long brown hair, and curled horns on her head. She wasn't wearing any clothes either.

"I have to take this man to Vanaheim. He's not safe here", Eric tells the dwarves as Loki told him to tell the truth. "He's worth a lot of gold to me. And which I would be happy to share with you!", he tries to convince them before they hit him again. "Stop that!", he shouted in annoyance.

"Cut us down, Beith. I have gold, I can pay you. I don't have it since its hidden in the woods", Eric spoke up over the chatter of the dwarves. He had to at least get them to cut them down. "Cut us down, and I'll show you"

"Oh no, dwarves!", Eric groaned as he saw the small figures approach them. Oh, how much the dwarves were hated to him. Simply, they would just annoy him as well as become savages. "Come on, Beith. Is this how you treat a friend?", he asked him.
