Bear with me, if I ever reject an unfamiliar idea, or suddenly suggest a new one. Biggest RP Pet Peeve: Whereabouts and Ghosting. Please be present and keep me updated from time to time. Syrena kept her eyes on the Jotun while she watches him touch the vines. She had to admit that the prince fascinated her somehow. Not to say that she was touched by his innocence, but it was his bravery and benevolence. Like as if she was falling in love. But she knew better since Loki was in love with Eric and not her. Remarkably, she didn't feel any jealousy to that. As a creature of nature and of the forest, it was her duty to keep him happy. Same for the rest of her kin.
Loki saved them once, by Ravenna. Since the forest had turned dark, the mermaids became vicious and bloodthirsty, feasting and drowning visitors instead of praising them. Syrena was sure that she was forced to do the same since the dying magic of the forest drained the gentle goodness in them, becoming deadly predators. But it wasn't long before the forest got its power back. They were whole and living again.
Syrena watched Loki touch the vines before she noticed him look back at her with a smile. She just realized that his emerald eyes were looking into her hazel-green ones. Suddenly, she made a smile before she giggled and swam behind a blue vine tree, hiding playfully. She made a giggle again. "Catch me", she chided in a sing-song tone with another giggle.
The mermaids were well known for their beauty and agelessness, meaning that their current physical appearance will never change. They stayed the same age ever since they were born. Even though they're a bit smaller than Loki now than in the past, the Jotun never criticizes their differences. The mermaids weren't born with names, so Loki actually called this mermaid "Syrena" when they first met when he was a boy. She and the prince recognized a quality in each other and they became allies. This wasn't love, but it was a romantic friendship.
Syrena guided him into the blue-lighted cavern as the scales on her tail glowed in luminescence of the light. As the two mermaids were swimming by their side, humming their tune, their attention was mostly on Loki. Unlike Syrena, her sisters were far more aggressive after seeing a new arrival entering their territory. Since Syrena didn't trust them to be near him, she would always find Loki first at the surface. It was just for his safety. This didn't mean that Loki couldn't trust the mermaid kin, but he just needed to be careful when around them.
As they reached the end of the tunnel, the next cavern was filled with pulsing blue vines that dangled from the ceiling. It looked like the lights were becoming bright, then dimming, and repeating. Syrena guided Loki through the vine-like cavern before stopping in front of one. She took his hand and guided it to one blue vine. "Touch", she said simply with softness before letting go of his hand, letting him touch it on his own. "Feel energy flow through you", she said as she stayed by his side.
The beautiful creature swam once again near him before it managed to show itself clearly, head to tail. It was astonishing to see these water creatures who were female, especially for their beauty. But they were very different if they came across an invader. Some of these female spirits, to Loki, were angels and guardians. Harmless like the rest of the forest residents. But like the tree guardians, they can be offensive. But they were never that way to Loki. They were his friends, his comrades, his family. They were there for him, same for himself being family to them.
The female creature, known as the mermaid, swam from below him and around him before her delicate hands were brushing against his pale skin. On his abdomen, then to his shoulder. Her hazel-green eyes looked at him as she smiled gently and small. But it soon faded when she realized that he needed air. Placing her hands on his cheeks, she leaned in and kissed him, letting him absorb her air as well as, unknowingly, her magic. She kept her lips on his own before she let go. That was until she delicately took his hand and guided him. Deeper into the cavern that was lighted by the blue water, more female figures approached them as two more mermaids joined them on their swim, singing the same tune.
The water was gentle yet peaceful as the mist nearly swallowed up the water's surface. The water swished side by side before something dove into the water. Swimming in the darkness, near the light that the Jotun swam, a scale reflected in the light as a fin swam with it. Below Loki, a figure began to swim slowly and gracefully up towards him. A female face with what looks like hair began to come into view of the darkness as she continued to come up. Her brown hair was loose in the bay of water as it flowed freely while covering most of her chest. Her pale skin blended in with the scales of the tail that was half of her body with a fin. She began to hum a melody; it sounded clear as day, rather than muffled. She swam past Loki before her tail brushed against his hand.
Days later, Asgard lost its gold and light once again as the Dark Elves took control of the kingdom. It was once peaceful yet slightly balanced when Eric took the throne as King. But due to this outrage of hate, and chaos, Asgard was once again shackled in darkness. Dark Elves patrolled the streets and ports throughout the kingdom as the hangings of the innocent were held to this day.
A few Asgardians; men, women, and children, were shackled from their feet, to their hands, as they were forced to a row of gallows, seven at a time. A Dark Elf started to announce over the silence. "In order to effect a timely halt to deteriorating conditions, and to ensure the common good, a state of emergency is declared for these territories. By decree of His Majesty, Lord Algrim, and according to martial law, the following statutes are temporarily amended: right to assembly, suspended", he announced before seven pairs of feet came into view at the bottom of the platform. "Right to habeus corpus, suspended", another seven pairs of feet showed at the bottom. "Right to legal counsel, suspended", then another pair. "Right to verdict by a jury of peers, suspended", then another. "All persons convicted of sorcery use, or aiding a person convicted of sorcery use, or associating with a person convicted of sorcery use, shall be sentenced to hang by the neck until dead", the next seven people walked onto the platform: five men, one woman...and one small child. A female. A young girl. Wearing poor clothing that was never tended to with soot covering her face, arms, and legs. She was bare footed. No shoes. But had something in her hand that she seemed to be fondling with. She looks up at the noose above her before she looks back down. She began to sing:
"The king and his men, stole the queen from her bed. And bound her in her bones. The seas be ours, and by the powers, where we will, we'll roam", she sang in her dry and soft voice before the executioner placed her on top of a barrel so she could reach the noose. It was silent for a moment before a man with a noose around his neck began to sing. "Yo, ho, all hands, hoist the colors high", just then, everyone on the platform began to sing in unison. "Heave ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die", eventually, every condemned prisoner in the courtyard began to join before they stomped their feet and wrists to make the shackles jingle. "Yo ho, all together, hoist the colors high"
The same Dark Elf who made the call earlier, ran to Lord Algrim, the leader, as the prisoners continued to sing in the background. "Lord Algrim! They've started to sing, sir", he tells him before Algrim makes a small smirk. "Finally", he simply responds. The prisoners continued their singing as the young girl clutched the token in her hand. "Heave ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die", she sang just before the executioner released the platforms underneath their feet. It then dead silent as the token slowly drops. It makes a hollow sound while it twirls in midair, then spinning on where it landed before it fell flat. The message has been sent...
A Raven caws as it flies through the sky as it flew through the borders of the cosmos.
Once mankind accepted a simple truth; that they were not alone in this universe. Some worlds, man believed home to their Gods. Others they knew to fear. From around the cold and darkness came the Frost Giants
The Raven flew into an snowing area that was windy with the snow and ice covering it. It then flew over a mountain that was at the top of the realm with Laufey sitting on his throne with a female Jotun at his side.
Forged in a body of ice with eyes red as blood, the Frost Giants took their toll on war. Threatening to plunge the world into a new ice age
An army of Asgardian soldiers marched through the realm as they marched towards an incoming fleet of Jotuns running towards them. The battle was vicious until it blurred.
The Asgardian army drove the Frost Giants back into the heart of their own world. In the end, their king fell. And the source of their power was taken from them
The Casket of Ancient Winter was picked up from it's stand as the realm of Jotunheim began to crumble.
With the last great war ended, Jotunheim's queen, Laufette, was giving birth to her child...
Lightning striked as the crying of a baby was heard.
...but King Laufey saw the size of the bastard child as an insult of the dying breed and ordered an execution on the newborn
The baby in the blanket was casted through the cosmos before it landed on the ground in front of a forest. The child began to cry until a figure landed near the small thing and picked up the sack. Moving the sack from its face, it was the face of a baby. The figure was seen more clearly as a woman with giant wings and curled horns.
It was introduced to not only a woman, but a fairy. Her name was Maleficent, and she claimed the child as her own. She named the boy, Loki, which means "Ice Man"
There were flashbacks of the past events.
Over the years, Loki grew in a place of wonder. As he grew, so did his home. Until that fateful day when darkness took over him. His mother was lost to him at the hands of treacherous betrayal by a lover who took her out of greed. Filled with rage, Loki cursed the infant daughter, Silena, of his lover, now King. But over the years, he realized that he had grown fond of the princess, feeling an attraction that he knew not. A great battle took place upon the palace of Asgard as Loki killed the man he once loved. As the years passed, Loki had what he wanted in the world. Love and compassion. But that soon turned dark as his goddaughter was taken from him. Until Asgard had a new ruler, the wicked queen, Ravenna. She took Loki prisoner for ten years and he met a man. Not just any man. He was a huntsman. Eric was his name. The two felt a love that Loki never thought he would have again. His mother came to the light as she awakened from her rest. Together, they defeated Ravenna and her reign of darkness was vanquished. But that was just the beginning. Showered by the dark of night, that night changed the life of all...
At night, the kingdom of Asgard came into view before hooves of horses hit the ground as they approached the kingdom. Guards ran to try and close the gates but the horses approaching were so fast, they knocked down the soldiers and bursted into the boundary of the palace. Torches were lit as they were thrown at the houses of civilians. The flames were ablaze as civilians screamed and ran before the fires got bigger inside the market and towards the palace. The horses bursted through the palace doors before the commotion was blurred by the flames.
Loki Laufeyson Malefison Overview The saga's titular protagonist, Loki was the biological son of the ruling Frost Giants, Laufey and Fárbauti, from Jotunheim. He was, and still is, renowned for his leading role as the "Fairest of Them All", as well as his victory of defeating the corrupted Asgardian King Thor, and the evil Corvid sorceress Ravenna. The Jotun-Faerie prince of the Moorland, Loki is the godfather of Princess Silena, the foster son of Maleficent, and the homosexual lover of Eric Odinson. Laufey, believing that his son's misshapen birth caused the death of his mate, heavily criticized the newborn and abandoned him to die on the realm of Asgard, before having to be found by the Moorland's guardian faerie Maleficent. Taken in, he was educated in the arts of magic, the responsibilities of a protector, and a few other lessons, having to never know about his true heritage, or know that his appearance was altered with the illusion of resembling a Fae. However, he eventually learned that it was all for his own protection, due to the century-old feud between the Asgardians and the Frost Giants.
Personality Effeminately-beautiful, empathetic, and increasingly-determined, Loki possesses a somewhat peaceful and passive spirit around others, since he grew up in the ways of the Faeries. Since he was a child, while known to be a "Trickster Faery" with mischievous tendencies, Loki is a very caring, pure-hearted individual, who shows respect for nearly-all forms of life, while also being kind to almost anyone he meets. Despite the many differences and secrets, Loki adores his many companions and friends, as well as his very strong love for his family, having to take their teachings and messages to heart, while also having the will to put himself in danger, if it means to save their lives. Having to be relatively isolated in the Moors for most of his youth, Loki is "sensitive, somewhat childish, and a bit naive", to the point of having very little understanding to the subtle tools of manipulators, as well as the images of interpersonal relations, like love and romance (having to be a bit pessimistic on the topic itself). However, charismatic as he is, he adapts easily in using leadership abilities; he speaks his own mind, to the point of offending others, and uses logical strategy to gain advantage of a situation, if possible. However, he would often rush headlong without thinking fully through in the process.
Attributes An adopted descendant of Maleficent, Loki is nearly as powerful as his foster mother. Ever since from a young age, Loki learned how to wield magic, after she decided to pass her sorcery down to him. For his magical green aura being a sharing trait of Maleficent's own golden aura, his sorcery's effectiveness was strong, but for his age, Loki certainly did not have full experience on using advanced magic. Being a misshapen Frost Giant, Loki still possesses some characteristics of his kind, including his resistance to the extreme cold, and his manipulation to the elements of ice. His physical attributes from his Jotun brethren are almost equal to an Asgardian, like their superhuman strength, speed, and longevity. He also possesses some attributes of a Fae, similar to the attributes of an Elf, thanks to Maleficent giving him the physiology while he was a baby. Such attributes include a regenerative healing factor and impressive agility. Loki's only physical weakness is heat, since Frost Giants can't function, or survive in conditions of high temperature. The slightest contact of heat to his skin can burn him, to the point that it can drastically weaken him.
~ Superhuman Strength Loki possesses immense strength that's similar to the Asgardian race, but with a slight less amount. Although, he has overpowered various strong individuals with seemingly no effort, and sometimes, his strength can match other various beings.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed Like Asgardians, Loki is shown to have immense agility and reflexes while performing swift and agile movements. However, due to possessing the physiology of Faeries, Loki possesses far greater levels of agility and reflexes.
~ Healing Factor Despite his superhuman qualities and extended life-span, it is still possible to injure and even kill Loki. Unlike the Asgardians, since he is a Frost Giant, Loki cannot fully recover at a fast pace. For a Jotun, Loki is incapable of possessing a metabolism for body repair. However, due to his somewhat Faerie physiology, thanks to Maleficent, he can only fully recover at a slow pace.
~ Longevity Like the Asgardians, Loki is extremely long-lived, and is capable of surviving for a life-span lasting several millennia; he physically ages at a much, much slower pace, and although he is at least one-thousand years old, he still looks like a young man on Earth standards.
~ Cold Immunity Due to his Frost Giant physiology, Loki is cold-blooded, meaning that his body can withstand and adapt in conditions of very low temperature. This points to the fact that he does not even require any specific clothing to protect himself.
~ Cryokinesis As a Frost Giant, Loki can naturally manipulate and form ice from water, the atmosphere, or even his own body at will. Whenever he doesn't have a weapon in a current position, he can simply make bladed weaponry from his own body out of ice. Through this power, Loki's body can also inflict a very painful frost bite through direct physical contact.
~ Aura/Energy Manipulation Being a sharing trait from Maleficent, Loki has the ability to generate, project, and manipulate his own green aura for magical and spiritual purposes. He can change certain qualities of his aura, by morphing, or shifting the aura between the forms of wisp-like and fire-like. His aura seems to also be connected to his emotions, as he tends to generate it when he shows the strongest of emotions. For example, when he was enraged, Loki unleashed a green seismic blast from his body, sending everything around him, flying.
~ Metamorphosis Loki could transmogrify other objects or people into whatever form he desires. With a wave of his fingers, he was able to change his attire, and turn Diaval into other animals, much to his chagrin.
~ Telekinesis Loki can move objects, people, animals, etc. with his mind by performing certain movements with his hands.
~ Enchantment Like Maleficent, Loki possesses the ability to cast certain spells and charms. Healing enchantments are one of those spells he eventually gained when he earned his full potential. When he was king, Loki was able to cast the deep-sleep charm, and enchant an eternal curse.
~ Expert Combatant With centuries of training, Loki is truly a very unpredictable opponent. In combat, Loki is clearly capable of fighting with daggers as his signature weapon, as well as spears, swords, and even with his bare hands.
Eric Odinson Overview Eric, often called 'The Huntsman', was the original Half-Asgardian and Half-Jotun son of the former Asgardian King Odin Borson, and the Earth Giantess, Jord Nottdottir. The saga's bisexual deuteragonist, Eric first appeared as Loki's closest, and most trusting companion, who also played a necessary role in protecting him, while aiding him in defeating the Corvid sorceress Ravenna. The younger identical twin of Thor Odinson, Eric was the seventh descendant of Buri, the foster son of the Light Elven King Thranduil, the uncle of Princess Silena, and the devoted lover of Loki Malefison. At the age of two, his biological father gave him up, since he was mostly favoring his eldest son. At the request of his mother, Eric was afterwards fostered in Alfheim by King Thranduil. Trained by the Elves at a young age, Eric was a prized soldier in the king's legion of huntsmen. At the age of twenty, Thranduil revealed to him his true ancestry, but Eric thereafter assumed his proper role as a huntsman rather than a king, and chose to remain with the Elves. It was also around this time that Eric met and fell in love with Sara, another fellow warrior in the huntsmen legion, and he eventually married her. Right after Thranduil was dethroned by the Ice Queen Freya, the sorceress learned about Eric's love for Sara, resulting for her to punish him after breaking her one rule: Never love another. She banished him to the realm of Asgard, after killing Sara in the process.
Personality Due to his background of being raised and trained as a soldier to the Light Elves, Eric is a fearless, noble man, who's willing to risk his life and die for the people he cares about. Never leaving his obligation unfulfilled, Eric holds an impressive amount of power, greatness, and knowledge under his humble exterior, despite himself being rash, arrogant, and mild mannered. For being raised by Elves, Eric also displays some traits of Elven wisdom. However, for suffering a burden that tore him from his authority, Eric put aside his positive values, and became rough-edged, only caring about his well-being while falling into depression. However, like Loki's experience with Silena, Eric's inner values changed when he met Loki. His eyes were opened when he finally learned what it means to be a man, and he slowly became the person he was from before, after falling in love with him. Apart from his past, Eric shows loyalty and protectiveness to his allies, especially to Loki, and also was a man of his word; if he made a promise, he would always, if not sometimes, stick to it. But, one of his genuine fears is his self-doubt; he fears of letting his allies down and being the cause of devastation. However, he puts aside his own feelings, and does what he believes is best for them. Eric's time as a hunter allowed him to be aware of his surroundings, become swift to identify problems, and use things around him to improvise. When adapting to these surroundings, his behavior can miraculously blend into it, like when he is around pirates, he starts acting like one.
Attributes As the second born of Odin the Allfather, Eric is, physically, a very powerful man, while possessing a number of superhuman attributes that are common among the Asgardian gods, namely strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes. However, as he was conceived by both an Asgardian and a Jotun, some of these attributes make him more developed than a vast majority of his kind, like his dormant ability of resisting a variety of supernatural forces. Eric is physically, and mentally, warrior material; trained in the arts of war and various fighting techniques by his teachers in Alfheim, after centuries of experience in hunting and fighting throughout his youth, he was highly favorable in one's army, both in strength and intuition.
~ Superhuman Strength As an Asgardian, and a son of Odin, Eric's incredible superhuman strength enables him to overpower various individuals and take on multiple enemies around him. Using his weapons in combat, his strength is compounded, as he is able to swing and throw with great speed and force.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed Eric's agility, balance, and bodily coordination make him a great warrior for battle. He moves with incredible grace and speed, despite his considerable size and body density.
~ Healing Factor Despite his astounding resistance to injury, it is still possible to injure and even kill Eric. However, due to his Asgardian physiology, Eric is able to fully heal at a much faster rate. Despite receiving mild to severe stab wounds from blades on several occasions, and after working past the pain of the injury, Eric is able to recover quickly.
~ Longevity Eric, like other Asgardians, can still be killed like all other beings in the Nine Realms. More accurately, Asgardians are extremely long lived beings. Eric physically ages at a pace far, far slower as he is at least more than 1,000 years old.
~ Cold Immunity Due to his half-Jotun physiology, Eric is cold-blooded, meaning that his body can withstand and adapt in conditions of very low temperature. This points to the fact that he does not even require any specific clothing to protect himself.
~ Trilingual With centuries of practice and study, Eric can fluently speak and understand the language of the elves: Sindarin (Welsh) and Quenya (Finnish).
~ Expert Combatant Through centuries of training and practice with the Light Elves, Eric is one of the greatest of warriors in the Nine Realms. Third only to Odin, he is skilled in several arts of combat, as well as mastering in the usage of melee weapons like swords, axes, and knives. He is known to be very cunning and intuitive in battle, having fought and defeated several warriors with great ease, possessing great accuracy and skill when throwing or shooting certain weapons at his targets. As a note, he rarely misses.
~ Master Hunter and Tracker Eric is one of the Nine Realms' best hunters. He possesses astonishing tracking abilities and, furthermore, can pickup his prey's trail with minor details in an area. He also has vast hunting experience, knowing many special hunting methods and the habits of many specific animals and creatures.
Mermaids Overview The mermaids were legendary creatures, known for being half-woman and half-fish aquatic beings. Born as lethal-minded daughters of the goddess Harmonia, these beautiful sea nymphs were given the duty of protecting the waters of the cosmos. Tales are told that some mermaids reside in foggy rivers, lakes, and swamps, while others reside in the coastal waters. For centuries, sailors have speculated these creatures of legend to be feared; they were known as "sea ghouls" or "devilfish", because of their association with shipwrecks and drownings, as well as their dreadful hunger for flesh. In other stories, these aquatic beings were instead benevolent "sea angels"; they tend to rescue sailors, fall in love with them, or help guide them. Because of these many stories, mystery surrounded these enchanted female beings, even down to their true names.
Personality The mermaids are beautiful yet dangerous creatures, known for using their enchanting vocals and irresistible complexions to lure travelers down into a watery grave. Certain stories and legends commonly depicted them as sweet and innocent creatures, although there were more sinister versions of them being corrupted. Apart from your typical Siren, the mermaids of the Nine Realms are more aggressive and independent, with each one having a detachment from their own emotions. A mermaid's own bond with her own kin is rather very cold; they absolutely will not show worry or concern for each other, interpreting that they are very narcissistic. Even though the mermaids are frosty beings, they can only and barely show emotion. When a mermaid interacts with someone outside of their own kin, she doesn't bond with them; she is instead feeling that person's own feelings as if their emotional experiences were her own, allowing her to easily connect with them directly, either heart-to-heart or soul-to-soul. In this case, there is no true sympathy in these interactions. Vowed to their duty to protect the realms' water boundaries, the mermaids have the instinct of being very territorial. As they are drawn to the surface by man-made light or singing travelers on boats, these creatures entrance themselves by communicating with their targets in a gentle, harmonic manner to connect more intimately with them, blinding them from the danger that could arise. If the targets catch on, the mermaids will be able to sense if they have good or bad intentions. If they're good, they remain beneficent or benevolent towards them. However, if otherwise, they will abandon their gentle disguises and attack viciously, making the scenario similar to sharks in a feeding frenzy. When this happens, the mermaids will become very fixated on catching their prey, and they will not stop until every last victim is in their grasp.
Attributes The mythical mermaids are very powerful amphibious beings while beings hybrids of human and fish. They were known to target and feed on untrustworthy travelers, as they see them as something to sustain in order to keep the cosmos' waters safe. The mermaids are perilous enough to drown and kill their targets with precision and, in large numbers, create whirlpools to topple great ships. The mermaids only have one weakness: fire. This is interpreted that they only dislike general warmth, which can cause them to dry out and eventually die.
~ Superhuman Strength The mermaids exhibit physical strength that is higher than a normal woman. They use this superhuman strength and muscle for a number of complex actions, such as pulling on their victims, break through solid wood, leap out of the water to cover distances, and also knock targets off the decks of boats.
~ Superhuman Speed/Agility Their long, powerful tails make them very fast and agile swimmers. Their tails enable them to swim more swiftly than a normal being and perform exquisite underwater feats of agility. Their fast speed is compared to a shark, which allowed them to easily adapt at hunting prey.
~ Longevity The mermaids are born as adults, and throughout their lifetime, they can never age beyond that. As a result, they stay young forever and never suffer the ravages of aging. However, a mermaid can still be killed from fatal injuries and heat exposure.
~ Creature Morphing The true form of the mermaids are very different to their beautiful female form. They appear as very beautiful human women of different nationalities when benevolent, but once hostile, their skin will be covered in scales, their teeth will grow fangs in their mouths, and their beautiful eyes will change to unnatural colors.
~ Siren Song The mermaids are capable of singing beautiful, astonishing music that can lure anyone who hears it, come towards them.
~ Supernatural Beauty A mermaid's radiant beauty is incredibly seductive and incredibly beautiful, almost hypnotic enough to lure their victims to their deaths. The light of the moon can illuminate their skin and their deep-as-the-ocean eyes can entrap any adventurer.
~ Supernatural Kiss It was common knowledge that a kiss from a mermaid can protect someone from drowning, allowing them to breath underwater. However, this is only temporary; if the person goes above water, they will not be able to breath underwater anymore. They will have to be kissed again if they desire it.
Silena Thordottir (Odinson) Overview Princess Silena, or just simply 'Silena', was the royal Asgardian daughter of the former King Thor Odinson and Queen Sif. She played the part of dissipating Loki Malefison's inner darkness with her youthful innocence, unintentionally forming a close father-daughter bond between them, and aided him in defeating her corrupted father. As the thirteenth descendant of Buri, Silena was the goddaughter of Loki, the niece of Eric Odinson, the widow of Balder Odinson, and the fifth ruler of Asgard's throne. During her christening as an infant, Silena was cursed accidentally by Loki during his vengeful rage upon her father, and according to the curse, her destiny was to fall into a sleep-like death. Over the years, Loki reluctantly and secretly took care of Silena, thus for her to believe that the wicked sorcerer was instead her fairy godfather. When she fell to the curse, she was eventually saved by him, mainly because of his mutual affection for her. After her death from a miscarriage, Silena made a deal with the Lord of the Dead and Sea, Hades, to alleviate her suffering while she was trapped in Helheim. She sold herself to him for one hundred years of servitude aboard the Flying Dutchman, soon appearing like the rest of the Dutchman crew, covered in barnacles and crustaceans while becoming a slave to Hades. However, as time went by, she was gradually losing herself in a lapse of total dementia, and she became darker, apart from her once gentle self.
Personality Silena was considered to be a brave, selfless individual, who almost never lets her anger or sorrow get the better of her. According to Loki, Silena was known for her flawless beauty, bright intellect, and warrior-like heart. She greatly valued harmony, and ironically, even though she disliked violence and conflict, she knows that fighting is only necessary to protect herself and others. Like her mother, Silena holds the bravery of a warrior, whenever she is in the midst of danger; her fierce sentiment towards those she strongly cares about, makes her almost unwilling to surrender easily. As a child, Silena had strong, personal beliefs while exploring the wonders of her world, and she can be very defensive against others' skepticism. She strongly believed that Loki was her "Fairy Godfather" after she noticed his "shadow" looking out for her during her childhood, and that his inner pain caused by her own father, made her believe that he was never a bad person. Her time with Loki made her look up to him as a fatherly figure, and her best friend; she even allowed him to do what's best for himself by killing her own father in the end. Even though Silena is always looking for the best intentions of herself and others, she is not great at seeing the consequences of tactical advantage. Sometimes, she may surprisingly succeed in some cases, but this makes her a bit naive at making the most decisions. Although while serving Hades has terrified Silena, she reluctantly adapted to her new life. However, her good morals began to shift into psychological change; a symptom that worsened over time as Silena started to become ruthless and delusional, while lapsing into total dementia. During her period of madness, she believed that she devoted herself to Hades as his follower, saying that she was "part of the crew, part of the ship". However, it was her love for her family that snapped her out of insanity.
Attributes Born as an Asgardian, Silena possesses superhuman physical attributes such as strength, speed, and reflexes. Trained in combat by the Warriors Three during her childhood and eventually by Hades, she is currently a powerful combatant in battle.
~ Superhuman Strength Born as an Asgardian, Silena is superhumanly strong and possesses greater physical strength than an average female.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed Silena can move at high speeds by utilizing her superior agility and balance.
~ Healing Factor Despite her body's resistance, Silena can be injured like any other Asgardian. However, her metabolism enables her to rapidly regenerate damaged bodily tissue with greater speed and efficiency.
~ Longevity Like all Asgardians, Silena physically ages at a rate that is much slower. Even though she is over one thousand years old, she still looks like a young woman by Earth standards.
~ Expert Combatant While she was raised by the Warriors Three, and then eventually trained by Hades, Silena has received combat training with various weaponry. Using a sword as her weapon of choice, she is a fearsome combatant in swordsmanship, ranking her as 'one of the greatest female warriors in the Underworld'.
Maleficent "Harmonia" Lysandottir (Mortal Appearance) (Goddess Appearance) Overview The saga's antiheroine and tritagonist, Maleficent is the extremely powerful, winged guardian ruler of the Moorland, as well as the foster mother of Loki. A majestic woman, Maleficent played the part as Loki's spiritual guide and life aide throughout his expeditions. Before she was known as Maleficent, she was the spiritual fifty-foot tall heathen goddess, Harmonia, who fell in love with the God of the Dead and Sea, Hades. She gave him the sacred task of collecting souls, and ferry them to the other side. However, when she failed to come ashore after his ten year duty, Hades plotted with the First Brethren Court to trick and imprison her in the body of a female Light Elf without her knowledge, so they could tear her rule of nature itself away from her. Due to the transfer, she sprouted horns on her head and huge feathered wings. She went into hiding on the realm of Asgard, creating her own domain in the realm's enchanted forest, calling it, the Moors. Over the years, the imprisoned Harmonia assumed the alias of Maleficent, as the forest's queen, who protected the new-made kingdom from invaders.
Personality A mystical being of the ancient Moors, Maleficent is a woman of purity and, while stuck in mortal form, her personality is different yet similar to her true form. In her nature, Maleficent is a strong, majestic woman, who plays the role as a benevolent guardian and a ruthless protector to her homeland. She is content in her role as queen, and she strives for social harmony. However, Maleficent is very private about her emotions and sometimes, she can tend to be selfish on them. But, she does, on the inside, feel things intensely and deeply. Maleficent has a long personal connection with her foster son, Loki, and her long understanding of him is built up from her past experiences of having a sense of unity to observe him. She lobbies for his survival, and she isn't afraid to give him support and affection, making her a worthy motherly figure. Even though they weren't related, Loki calls her "mother" regardless. To add to this, Maleficent doesn't like to upset others, but she is quite frank in her opinions, and she isn’t afraid to direct, comfort, or reassure others when they are facing self-conflict. She can take control of a bad situation in order to make something happen, and she will step up to bear the brunt of it if necessary. Known to be one of the fairest and wisest of all beings, Maleficent exemplifies the charity of a woman's mercurial nature. While having an unpredictable personality, she reflects the wildness of nature itself. Despite her calm mannerisms, Maleficent can become dangerously aggressive when she is angered, and she won't hesitate to throw herself into danger at the given moment. In mortal form, she may be not too much of a threat, but as a mighty goddess, she could summon a devastating storm that could vex everything in its path. Her memories of her past are the influence towards her decisions in the present, since she fears that her past experiences will catch up to her while she's trying to forget them, like her past long-term relationship with Hades. Also, she fears on her decisions in the present, and she also fears on the impact they may bring on the future; she does not want Loki to know of her past, in fear of the impact it may bring to their relationship.
Attributes Maleficent is the strongest and most powerful being of the Moors, having undisputed control over its army and resources. Her powers vary in effectiveness and type between her mortal and goddess form. She wields and manifests her magic in golden auras, and her foster son, Loki, has a sharing trait of her magical aura when he was educated by her, except his own aura is green. Because of this, her sorcery powers have been passed down to him almost simultaneously, except her magic is much more advanced than his own. Maleficent's Faerie physiology is similar to the attributes of an Elf, possessing superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, and agility. As with all faerie beings, when in her mortal form, Maleficent's only weakness is iron, and the slightest contact could burn her skin, and prolonged exposure could weaken her dramatically. Unfortunately, for all fairies, Maleficent could lose her life if iron comes in contact with her bloodstream.
~ Superhuman Strength Maleficent was shown to possess physical strength that is far greater than that of a normal woman, allowing her to overpower various enemies with ease. So strong she was, she can literally grab and floor opponents with her bare hands as well as hit them head-on violently when in flight.
~ Superhuman Speed/Agility As an Elf, Maleficent's body allows her to move at great speed with impressive reflexes. Her slender body frame and tremendous wings enable her to move at great speed and perform exquisite feats of agility on the ground and in midair.
~ Healing Factor Having the physiology of a faerie, Maleficent could recover instantly from injuries at a fast pace, including the injuries caused by iron - provided that she was no longer touching it.
~ Longevity Having the physiology of an Elf, Maleficent is physically ageless and immortal. However, she can be killed when she suffers the fatal physical contact of iron.
~ Aura/Energy Manipulation Being a faerie sorceress, Maleficent has the ability to generate, project, and manipulate her own golden aura for magical and spiritual purposes. She can change certain qualities of her aura, by morphing, or shifting the aura into move different forms; her most common form of being wisp-like. As an advanced magic user, Maleficent can also manifest her aura into energy blasts and forcefields in combat to protect herself or others.
~ Metamorphosis Maleficent can transmogrify or morph objects into whatever form she desires with her magic.
~ Aerokinesis (Mortal Form) With her tremendous wings, Maleficent can create powerful wind gusts and carry various people into the air with a limited amount of time.
~ Terrakinesis As the goddess of nature, Maleficent can manipulate the growth of plant life. She can generate plants in various ways, such as healing them, creating them, and even animating them.
~ Atmokinesis As a goddess of nature, Maleficent has the ability to control and manipulate the weather. However, she can only manifest various weather changes, depending on her mood. As a mortal, she can only manipulate minor changes in the atmosphere, like causing a thunderstorm when angry. However, when angered in goddess form, her type of weather control is much more devastating, like manifesting a maelstrom.
~ Telekinesis Maleficent has the power to move objects with her mind by performing certain movements with her hands. In a state of extreme emotion, her telekinesis was shown to be powerful enough to crush objects.
~ Enchantment Maleficent is a potent spell-caster, who can perform and cast many different charms and enchantments. Such spells usually require her to speak in the Elvish language.
~ Trilingual Due to herself possessing Elven physiology, Maleficent can fluently speak and understand the language of the elves: Sindarin (Welsh) and Quenya (Finnish). Since these are the most common among the elf kin, Maleficent uses this language to cast her spells.
~ Expert Combatant It's unknown where Maleficent earned her combat training, but it is possible that she earned her skills through her Elven physiology, giving her the superior combat style that's common to Elves. Her skills as a warrior are excellent, and she uses appropriate opportunities to influence her decisions, but this causes her to sometimes be “beaten” in combat. Maleficent is proficient with melee weaponry like her staff, curved dagger, nail cuffs, and other various bladed weaponry.
Fandral Mimirson Overview Fandral is the Asgardian son of his knowledgable father, Mimir, and his poetic mother, Saga. The adventuring comrade of Captain Killian Jones, and the adopted uncle of Princess Silena, Fandral was a founding member and swordsman of the Warriors Three, an elite Asgardian warrior trio. Known for being a dashing teller of tales, Fandral is a walking, talking encyclopedia of all things in pirate lore. Not much is known of Fandral's youth, but it was only known that he started sailing with Asgard's Royal Guard in his younger days. At some point in Killian Jones' teenage years, Killian and his father, Bragi, were captured by the kingdom's guard, and Fandral, being friends with Bragi, secretly helped them escape. From there, he became good friends with Killian, soon becoming involved in many of his sailing expeditions. After the birth of Princess Silena, Fandral and his friends, Volstagg and Hogun, became responsible of raising her until after her sixteenth birthday in a cottage a mile away from the palace, under the order of King Thor. As the years progressed, Fandral homeschooled Silena in swordsmanship and Asgardian lore.
Personality Fandral likes things just so, and is comfortable in the pirate routine by being practical, charming, sensible, and down to earth. He tends to believe and maintain the traditional pirate superstition, and is attentive to immediate needs in his decisions. His love for the Black Pearl is evident, and his loyalty to Killian Jones is nearly absolute, although like any good pirate, he would stab him in the back if Killian didn’t get him out of trouble if promised. While possessing a good memory for details, Fandral, at times, corrects Killian Jones in his recollection of things. His emotions never come to the surface and don’t factor into his decisions at all, unless of course, his honor is somehow called into question. Fandral pursues the things that are of importance to him, mostly on treasure and piracy. Highly knowledgeable of pirate lore, and kept to the Pirate Code, though he did break it at least once in order to rescue Killian Jones from Asgard. Despite himself being superstitious about many things, Fandral appears to be skeptical of the existence of mermaids and the Kraken. However, it was likely that he was just trying to convince himself as well as his companions that the creatures were only legend. Although, he doesn’t seek out leadership, but he is comfortable issuing orders when necessary, and takes pride in keeping the rest of the sailors in line for the captain.
Attributes As an Asgardian, Fandral possesses superhuman physical attributes such as strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and extended life-span.
~ Superhuman Strength Like all Asgardians, Fandral is superhumanly strong and possesses strength greater than of a normal man. He is able to hold his own against his enemies and even single-handedly throw smaller beings.
~ Superhuman Speed/Agility Fandral is one of the most agile warriors in Asgard, able to evade multiple attacks in the midst of battle.
~ Healing Factor Despite his body's resistance, Fandral can be injured like any other Asgardian. However, his metabolism enables him to rapidly regenerate damaged bodily tissue with greater speed and efficiency than a normal being. Despite himself receiving mild stab wounds, he survived these injuries, until he fully healed within hours.
~ Longevity Like all Asgardians, Fandral ages at a rate that is much slower than that of normal beings. Even though he is over one thousand years old, he still looks like a young man by Earth standards.
~ Enhanced Memory Fandral can remember great loads of information in greater detail for a long period of time, much longer than other beings. He can recall a vast number of events and people as he gives a great deal of details of those experiences.
~ Expert Combantant Fandral is an incredible warrior, with centuries of talented experience in hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship, while using the foil sword, therefore ranking him as one of Asgard's most foremost warriors. He performs a swift and agile fighting style, making him a dangerous opponent.
~ Expert Marksmanship Fandral keeps an antique pistol on his figure for sentimental reasons. He has a handy good shot, but he rarely uses the pistol itself, and he's not as crafty with like Bard or Killian Jones.
Hades Kronosson Overview Hades is the supernatural ruler of the seas and the dead of the Nine Realms as well as the condemned captain of the cursed Flying Dutchman, a ghost ship. Early parts of his life were shrouded in mystery, although it was known that he was a capable sailor and lord of the dead at sea, who fell in love with the goddess Harmonia, who was changing, harsh, and untamable as nature. He was tasked of collecting all the poor souls that were lost at sea and ferry them to the other side. Because of that love, Hades agreed to set foot on dry land once every ten years. But when he came back ashore, Harmonia was nowhere to be found. Feeling that the goddess betrayed him, a heartbroken and enraged Hades believed that he had been tricked into his duty, and could not escape his service. Using the foul and fearsome Kraken, Hades went on his course to vengeance. Since then, Hades preyed on lost dead souls, and those who wished to avoid final judgment, where they can chose to agree serving him aboard his haunted vessel. Overtime, they would eventually become a part of the ship itself, forever enslaved to its terrifying leader. So, when the First Brethren Court convened, Hades plotted with them to tear the rule of the seas away from Harmonia. As part of an agreement, he showed them how to bind her, so that they could secure the rule of the seas for themselves. The Brethren captured Harmonia and imprisoned the goddess into the body of a female Light Elf, later known as the guardian faerie Maleficent.
Personality Hades was known for his sadistic ways, while showing no more care for his own crew than his foes. Proud, cruel, and hateful, this dark god was a creature of malice. Perhaps a nihilist as a result of Harmonia's perceived betrayal, the only thing he seemed to enjoy was to ensure that the lives of those around him, were as miserable and joyless as his own one. In reality, Hades is actually a highly emotional being, but he hides his emotions deep inside and masks them with his fierceness and cruelty. As the god of the dead and sea, Hades plays the "Dead Organ" in order to alleviate his inner pain, and even though Harmonia betrayed him, Hades still loved her, and although he was enraged, his heart would always belong to her. Hades relates others to his own experiences as soon as he sees them. But unfortunately, he’s so damaged, his ignition on compassion decreases rapidly. Despite this, Hades never forgets his duty as captain; he regularly mistreats his own crew, while believing that everyone should suffer through the afterlife with much pain. Regardless, Hades is very good at organizing his crew, since he lays down punishments if the task at hand is not complete. However, he had some trust in at least some of his crewmen, and he most likely trusted the ones who show absolute loyalty towards him. He has no problem putting aside his emotions to make harsh decisions, and he is always open to outer possibilities. Hades is most definitely not credulous, and therefore when somebody has a debt to him, he used to mark them with a magical sign, which allows him to ensure that this person will do exactly what he requested. Although Hades demanded good faith from others, he was treacherous and unreliable, and he felt no obligation to return in kind.
Attributes As a god, Hades' attributes are equal to an Asgardian, even though he's not Asgardian himself. His supernatural abilities are strictly unexplainable, and extremely impossible to understand. His power to switch between the worlds of the dead and the living, is most likely the reason for other supernatural traits of him, including the his ability to teleport himself and walk through solid objects.
~ Superhuman Strength Shown to be much more powerful than other beings, Hades is superhumanly strong; he possesses greater physical strength than those weaker than himself, despite their size.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed Hades' agility, balance, and bodily coordination make him a great warrior for battle. He moves with incredible grace and speed, despite his considerable size and body density.
~ Healing Factor Hades can be injured, but it won't be enough to kill him. Despite himself being ominently immortal, he can still feel pain when he receives mild to severe injuries. However, his metabolism enables him to rapidly regenerate damaged bodily tissue with greater speed and efficiency.
~ Longevity Like all beings, Hades ages at a much slower rate. Even though he is thousands of years old, he still looks like an old man by Earth standards. After removing his heart, Hades is nearly immortal, since he could only be killed with a stab to his severed heart.
~ Morality Manipulation Once lost souls or living sailors agree to serve Hades for one hundred years, they are tied to the command of Hades himself as they stay upon his vessel. The longer they stay, the more they fall into corruption with Hades as their voice of truth, causing his recruits to lose their good self-morals.
~ Beast Manipulation Hades has the power to control and call forth the Kraken, a giant tentacled sea monster that does his bidding to destroy and devour all kinds of fully-rigged ships. Under his command, the Kraken also brings Hades ever more souls to join his crew aboard the Flying Dutchman.
~ Teleportation Hades can teleport himself and other beings from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them.
~ Clairvoyance Hades can gain direct visual information about anything and anyone without using his physical sight.
~ Expert Combatant Hades was known as a master swordsman, being matched by a few others. He has an aggressive offending style of fighting and his strokes are often swift, powerful, and highly varied. It is very difficult to defend against his attacks, and it would often took up most of an average-skilled opponent's attention and concentration. His own defense is nearly as keen as his offense, and some opponents would use unorthodox methods to defeat him.
Captain Bard Overview Bard is a ferocious, legendary pirate in the Nine Realms. Not much is known about his early life, but all that's known is that he was originally the son of an Asgardian father and a Midgardian mother; being raised in a background of poverty, before he ran away to sea in his early teens. He played a major role during the War of the Nine Realms, and he was mostly recalled for his friendship with the Elven prince, Legolas. Although his history as a pirate remained a mystery, Bard had an earnest desire to gain an easier living by striking into piracy. Since then, Bard became a clever rogue, a cunning liar, and a "gentleman" of the sea. A captain of treacherous morality, and a master of his own fate, Bard was the ultimate survivor. While combining experience with reckless daring, Bard used to be the first mate of Captain Killian Jones on the Black Pearl in the old days, but he eventually led a mutiny against Killian and marooned him. That was until he was classified as Killian's rival and nemesis. In mysterious circumstances, Bard became Pirate Lord of the Asgardian seas after he obtained a Piece of Eight of the previous Lord.
Personality Confident and ruthless, Bard only became a sailor to be involved with piracy, not to live an adventurous life. He may appear to be grim and rough-edged, to say the least, but he has a tendency of being dryly humorous. As captain, Bard greatly enjoys his title and the affirmation of others, but he also enjoyed the thrill of commanding others around him. Even when he's participating in a ship battle, Bard prefers to stay behind the fight and command his subordinates from a safe position. His fearlessness to danger, interpreted as suicidal insanity, tells that Bard is strongly un-phased of the world falling apart around him; he would typically just stay calm, or joyfully laugh while being on the scene. When it comes to his allies, Bard's status of companionship is complicated, since his own morals shift frequently in different situations and immediate advantages. Since he is always switching between doing what's right and wrong, Bard is a very difficult man to purely trust, but he can occasionally show compassion and inspiration towards others. Against his enemies, however, Bard was cruel, wily, and merciless, always turning agreements to his own favor, and keep plans to himself until he allows them to unfold.
Attributes Being a demigod, Bard's heritage from his father's side gives him the characteristics of a typical Asgardian, allowing him to have their superhuman attributes such as superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and longevity. A skilled captain with a very clever intellect, Bard has excellent navigation skills and, combined with his exceptional fighting abilities, he can survive a life of piracy for several decades.
~ Superhuman Strength Having an Asgardian heritage, Bard's incredible superhuman strength enables him to overpower various individuals. Using weaponry in combat, his strength is compounded, as he is able to attack with great speed and force.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed Bard's agility, balance, and bodily coordination make him a great warrior for battle. He moves with incredible grace and speed, despite his considerable size and body density.
~ Healing Factor Despite his astounding resistance to injury, it is still possible to injure and even kill Bard. However, due to his Asgardian physiology, Bard is able to heal at a much faster rate. After working past the initial pain of an injury, Bard is able to recover quickly.
~ Longevity Like all races, Bard is not truly immortal as it is possible to kill an Asgardian. More accurately, Asgardians are extremely long lived beings. Bard ages at a pace far, far slower as he is at least more than 1,000 years old.
~ Expert Combatant Bard learned to brawl since his teenage years. Therefore, his fighting style was dirty and defensive. However, he has an extensive knowledge of killing maneuvers such as beheading and strangling. While being a skilled swordsman through a lifetime of experience, he just has a sword on his belt to skewer people and survive.
~ Expert Marksmanship In addition to his remarkable swordsmanship, Bard is an accurate and experienced marksman. So knowledgable, he could give others shooting lessons.
~ Strategic Planner Bard can create strategies and plan several steps ahead as if he can see into the future. Bard can elaborate complex plans and strategies, and apply them in any activity that involves his cunningness and clever intellect.
Legolas Thranduilion (Greenleaf) Overview Legolas was the royal Elf prince of Alfheim, who became involved in the War of the Nine Realms. Being the only grandson of Oropher, and the only birth child of the realm's Elven King Thranduil, Legolas' mother was never stated; there have been theories of him not being a full Light Elf, but upon discovery, Legolas is actually part Dark Elf. A master bowman with keen eyesight and sensitive hearing, Legolas was a valuable resource for his allies during the war. His age being currently unknown, Legolas was well-known for being friends with Bard, despite their differences.
Personality Legolas has strong emotions, and he doesn’t hesitate to use them. In his Elven nature, he is quite calm, kind, and ethereal, communicating with others in a good-natured way, to which he never condescends. Legolas lives to his own values, and unlike the rest of his kin, Legolas was born to be independent; he favored himself to be involved in protecting other realms, not just his own. To him, he believes that all species, other than his race, should not be left as inferior to the Elves, unlike his father's isolation belief. However, despite this, Legolas is still fiercely loyal to his kin, his friends, and his family, although he does find it very difficult to disobey his father, while still holding a very deep regard for him. To add to this, he is loath to disappoint, or even acknowledge him that he could be wrong. Legolas can feel passionate about a subject, whether or not it’s helpful or appropriate, and he also tends to have a habit of speaking his thoughts aloud. Ironically, as an Elf, Legolas doesn't fully understand the concept of death, since death rarely happens among his kind, and the concept itself is still foreign to him. Even if he witnesses death among someone who is other than his race, he is still confused of how to react. With good company, Legolas can be quite carefree and mischievous, sometimes using a subtle, sarcastic wit to gently mock others and make them laugh with him. He truly enjoys life by spending time with those he cares about and trusts, partly because of his love for care-free happiness. Like all Light Elves, Legolas has incredible respect for nature, specifically towards trees and other woodland elements. Having grown up in a woodland environment, his appreciation for trees is so strong, he can actually understand them as well as talk to them - despite how others think.
Attributes Legolas' Elven physiology is similar to the physiology of Asgardians, but the Elves are supernatural beings with far greater abilities that all other species don't possess. As close cousin relatives to faerie species, the elves have an exceptional life-span, a magical inclination, ethereal grace, and superior combat skills.
~ Superhuman Strength Like Asgardians, Legolas has incredible superhuman strength. His muscles allow him the capability to leap great distances and perform quick body strikes in battle. Using his weapons in combat, his strength is compounded, overpowering individuals with great force.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed Legolas' supernatural agility, balance, and bodily coordination make him a warrior. He moves with incredible grace and speed, despite his considerable size and body density.
~ Healing Factor Like all races, it is still possible to injure and even kill Legolas. However, it is mostly done in violence. Sadly, Elves don't have the metabolism in their bodies to repair themselves, meaning they can only heal themselves through medicine or with the use of magic by others.
~ Longevity Like all races, the Elves are physically immortal and ageless. When they reach adulthood, their bodies stop aging, meaning they can't become elderly in physical appearance. They can be killed by physical injury, however.
~ Physical/Sensory Ability Enhancement Like all elves, Legolas' physical attributes are very supernatural, and his sensory attributes are much keener and more sensitive. With enhanced hearing, he can decipher layer upon layer of noise, even to the tiniest whisper or footstep. His keen vision enables him to see amazing clarity in great distance. While walking in a silent manner, Legolas can't leave tracks or cause a disturbance on the ground. Therefore, his walking can barely be heard, and can often be useful in stealth.
~ Trilingual Due to himself possessing Elven physiology, Legolas can fluently speak and understand the language of the elves: Sindarin (Welsh) and Quenya (Finnish).
~ Expert Combatant Legolas has been trained as an Elven warrior ever since he was young. Like all elves, along with his speed, his combat skills were proven superior. Frequently, he would use his bow and arrows for all assaults, be either closeup or faraway. But, if needed, he would use his long daggers whenever he is out of arrows or is forced into closeness. He may not be deadly with them as he is with his bow, but respectively, he has become feared for both weapons.
~ Expert Marksmanship Legolas is a master archer and uses his six-foot bow with deadly precision by shooting targets up to 400 yards away. Adding to his physiology as an elf, his keen eyesight makes him the most proficient archer in the Nine Realms. As a note, he never, but sometimes rarely misses.
Captain Killian Jones Overview The son of the poetic Asgardian, Bragi, and an unknown Midgardian woman, Killian Jones is a legendary pirate, and an irreverent trickster of the Nine Realms. A captain of dubious morality, and a master of self-promotional interest, Killian was originally a teenage stowaway, who had a desire for adventure. Before he became a captain, Killian was forced to abandon pirate life and take affiliation with the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim. However, they branded him as a pirate in the process after he stole one of their black vessels, calling it, The Black Pearl. At some point, Killian became one of the Nine Realm lords; his domain being the Midgardian seas. But, Killian lost the Pearl in a mutiny led by his first mate, Captain Bard. Despite his dishonesty and many deceptions, Killian Jones did embark a grand number of thrilling adventures, some involving the supernatural, pirate lore, magic, and hidden treasure.
Personality A notorious, infamous sailor and trickster, Captain Killian Jones was between piratical genius and mercurial madness; he uses wit and deceit to attain his goals, preferring to end disputes verbally instead of by force. A believer in piracy, Killian honors the pirate code, to the fact that he honors the dead of those who were involved in piracy. His pursuit of life is based on his physical pleasures of it, making it obvious on his emphasis on rum, his choice of companions, and his love of treasure. Killian was noted for his slight drunken stagger and dramatic hand gestures, which make him appear unfocused and possibly ataxic towards others. However, despite this apparent behavior (and possibly due to it), Killian's own emotions are subdued, but he can sometimes show them on matters of importance like his center life as a pirate as well as his beloved Black Pearl. Killian communicates in an outgoing, charming manner towards other people by using complex wordplay to inspire or distract them. To add to this advantage, he is morally complicated towards his view on right and wrong. He can turn decent, if not selfishly self-serving, when he's attempting to trick his own allies to serve his own purposes. Even though Killian may appear to not care about his friends, he rarely intends to directly harm them. Though he hates to admit it, he shows more compassion for them than he lets on, and he would tend to go out of his way to help them get in and out of a situation with minimal harm. Killian rarely shares what's on his mind, and he prefers to not do long-term planning, since he actually improvises, making him ten steps ahead of everyone else. In combat, he would often use non-violent negotiation in order to turn the tables around on his opponents, like his typical use of parleys, and his frequent attempt to encourage his opponents to see the bigger picture. He also claims to be a man of his word, and he would often express surprise when people doubt his truthfulness; there is no murder on his criminal record.
Attributes Being a demigod, Killian's Asgardian heritage from his father's side gave him the characteristics of a typical Asgardian, allowing him to have their superhuman attributes such as superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and longevity. A skilled individual, Killian usually prefers to escape or negotiate rather than fight. However, when forced into combat, he held his own ground in battles by using a combination of swordplay, trickery, and by using any available object as a weapon.
~ Superhuman Strength Having an Asgardian heritage, Killian's incredible superhuman strength enables him to overpower various individuals. Using weaponry in combat, his strength is compounded, as he is able to attack with great speed and force.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed Killian's agility, balance, and bodily coordination make him a worthy opponent for battle. He moves with incredible grace and speed, despite his considerable size and body density.
~ Healing Factor Despite his astounding resistance to injury, it is still possible to injure and even kill Killian. However, due to his Asgardian physiology, Killian is able to heal at a much faster rate. After working past the initial pain of an injury, Killian is able to recover quickly.
~ Longevity Like all races, Killian is not truly immortal as it is possible to kill an Asgardian. More accurately, Asgardians are extremely long lived beings. Killian ages at a pace far, far slower as he is at least more than 1,000 years old.
~ Expert Combatant Killian was a skilled swordsman, who was capable to hold his own in duels, even when against those who have superior dueling abilities. By using a combination of swordplay, trickery, and using any available object as a weapon, he was very resourceful and intelligent in a fight. Being one of the pirate lords, and having the highest bounty on his head, he was much more skilled in battle than he lets on.
~ Expert Marksmanship In addition to his remarkable swordsmanship, Killian is an accurate and experienced marksman with a specialty in gun use. So knowledgable, he could give others shooting lessons.
~ Master Manipulator Killian has a superior ability of manipulating and tricking others in order to gain their trust and loyalty. Although it is very difficult to understand him accurately, Killian's uncanny choice of words is often used to charm, persuade, inspire, and even influence others.
~ Strategic Planner Killian can create strategies and plan ahead like he could see into the future. He is able to elaborate complex plans and apply them in not just a battle, but any other activity that involves his impressive intellect and charisma.
Kili Disson Overview Kili was the biological Dwarven son of his mother, Dis, along with an unknown father, in the realm of Nidavellir. A dwarf pirate, Kili was largely known for his role in the War of the Nine Realms, along with his infatuating friendship with the faerie, Maleficent. Born five years apart from his older brother, Fili, both siblings were inseperably raised under the stern guardianship of their uncle, Thorin, after their mother's mysterious exile, as blacksmith apprentices. Their lives revolved around their work, and Kili's distant longing for adventure was what he knew he couldn't have. During a weapon trade overseas, both Thorin and Fili were killed during a pirate attack, making Kili the only survivor in the wreckage. While on his own, Kili resumed as the realms' blacksmith on his own.
Personality People say that the best things come in small packages; Kili was no exception. Through his early youth, Kíli has always been the baby of the family, since he was allowed to run freely from the expectations that constrained family matters, being partly the reason why he never fully matured in the first place. Despite everyone’s best efforts, Kíli was more of a wild child rather than a well-mannered dwarf, and the only person he would listen to was his brother. It wasn't that Kili was badly behaved, he was only acting out because he was driven by distraction. Since he had no father figure while growing up, he chose his older brother as his inspiration. Being doted upon by him, Kili was spoiled endlessly by Fili, who educated, protected, and looked after him ever since birth, eventually forming a very close sibling bond between them in the process, making it extremely impossible for him to leave his side. In his nature, Kili retains a somewhat childish mentality, evident by his unflinching optimism, naivety, and unquestionable innocence. His actions are rarely mean-spirited, but he is mostly playful in his behavior; while they may have unfavorable consequences, Kili's first aim is to make his audience laugh. He's very hard to dislike, since he shows to be fun-loving, stubborn, and charming while he's adapting to situations, especially if he is living in the moment of it. Despite this, he does have a more serious, worldly side, though, one that has developed after he witnessed the death of his uncle and brother. After this experience, Kili became more hardworking and determined in his values as well as his responsibility as a blacksmith. However, he still had his childlike tendencies; he has a habit of acting first and thinking later, sometimes to disastrous effects. That being said, Kíli is now learning to put his overactive brain to good use, thanks to his experiences as a sailor.

Lord Algrim Eärendilion Overview Algrim is the Elf-lord of the Dark Elves from the realm of Svartalfheim, with the race originally said to be older than the universe itself. With a huge fleet and an army of mercenaries under his command, Lord Algrim threatened civilians with the extinction of sorcery, to which Dark Elves despise as their prime weakness, in order to make an easier living. Meanwhile, he set his sights on retrieving the fabled Dead Man's Chest, since whoever possessed the Chest, controls the seas. Lord Algrim intended to use this power to destroy every last magic-user within the cosmos once and for all.
Personality Algrim was a ruthless, manipulative, and arrogant man, who would stop at nothing to achieve his own personal goals. A persistent man, Algrim feels no remorse for the deaths he caused and he was adept to twist the law for his own aims. He is also quite unconcerned with dangerous, life-threatening situations, remaining calm during attacks. His actions throughout most of his life were driven by his intense hatred of magic. The majority of this, as a Dark Elf, involves fearing the use of sorcery, which was his race's prime weakness to death. ~ Longevity Like all races, the Elves are physically immortal and ageless. When they reach adulthood, their bodies stop aging, meaning they can't become elderly in physical appearance. They can be killed by physical injury, however.
~ Trilingual Due to himself possessing Elven physiology, Algrim can fluently speak and understand the language of the elves: Sindarin (Welsh) and Quenya (Finnish).
~ Physical/Sensory Ability Enhancement Like all elves, Algrim's physical attributes are very supernatural, and his sensory attributes are much keener and more sensitive. With enhanced hearing, he can pick up every single sound deep in his surroundings, and can decipher layer upon layer of noise, even to the tiniest whisper or footstep. His keen vision enables him to see amazing clarity and great distance. His physical attributes are far different than other races. While walking in a silent manner, Algrim can't leave tracks or cause a disturbance on the ground. Therefore, his walking can barely be heard, and can often be useful when in stealth.

After Ravenna's defeat and Eric's crowning for the throne of Asgard, one night, a dark clan called the Dark Elves raids the kingdom of Asgard and supposedly kills Eric in the process. Loki, in a hooded cloak, silently cries as he watches the kingdom go into flames from his Hometree in the Moors.
Days after the raid, to increase their power, the Dark Elves' leader, Algrim, starts executing innocent Asgardian civilians, including women and children, by the neck in Asgard that were suspected of or remotely associated with witchcraft across the Nine Realms. As the next row of prisoners stepped to the hanging platform, a young condemned child, holding a token, starts to defiantly sing a song that would summon the nine pirate lords, which the other prisoners soon joined her before it stopped completely as they were hung. As the token falls from the child's hand, it lands on the dirt as it makes a hollow noise which meant that the message was transferred in essence.
In the misty forest of the Moors, Loki mourns about Eric's 'death' as he strolled through his home in boredom. He starts to approach a waterfall and, with only his pants, he takes a swim underwater to clear his head. As he was, a female creature named Syrena, swims to him and kisses him to allow him to breathe underwater. As they swim together through the cavern, more mermaids approach and they swim with him until he and Syrena enter a cavern filled with blue pulsing vines. As they attempt to play hide-and-seek, Syrena accidentally gets caught by the hostile plants as it began to constrict around her. Hearing her desperate cries, Loki manages to rescue her as they both get out of the cavern. As Loki gets out at the surface, Syrena follows him, desperately wanting him to stay. She tells him that if he ever needs help, he would sing the mermaids' song to summon them before she disappears. He leaves, going to his Hometree where he sees Maleficent. His feelings about Eric concern her as she manages to comfort him. The fairies fly to them, telling them that Akasha desires to see them.
Maleficent takes Loki to a dark sacred part of the Moors that was dark with only fireflies and certain fairies being the only specks of light. Loki has never seen this part of his home before since it was yards away from his Hometree and the boundary that Maleficent tells him to stay on. They approach a hut as they meet the seeress, Akasha. The seeress is happy to see Maleficent, but as she notices Loki, she tells him that she senses destiny within him. Maleficent asks her why they were needed. Akasha tells them that she sensed their mourning of Eric and that she saw a vision of him, alive. Loki is shocked, but listens on. She then tells him that he is on a search for hope for the kingdom of Asgard. Loki asks her where he is, but he will have to see him in order to find him. Loki doesn't get this, but he figured that Akasha gave him a riddle. Akasha asks him if he wishes to see Eric again. Loki accepts immediately, resulting her to tell them that they will need a man who is familiar with the mystical waters. With this said, sounds of footsteps approach them, revealing a man named Bard, a sailor from the realm of Nildavellir. He tells them that the only person they would need was Captain Killian Jones, a wanted deceiving stowaway who sails the Black Pearl, an infamous pirate ship with the body and sails as black as night. He also adds that the only way to find the Pearl is to retrieve a map called "The Navigation Charts".
Meanwhile, at the dark cutthroat realm of Helheim, land of the dead and the unfortunate, coffins were casted into the sea as they drift on the water. A raven lands on top of a coffin and pecks at it repeatedly before gunshot erupts on the raven from the inside of the coffin and Killian emerges from the coffin, alive and well. Spotting his ship, the Black Pearl nearby, he takes a bony leg that was in the coffin and rows himself to the ship. He comes aboard and is greeted by the Warriors Three, along with their crew. A raven appears and snatches whatever Killian had in his hand and tries to fly away. Killian manages to stop it by shooting it with his gun. He shows them what the bird was trying to steal: a drawing of a key he found while on Helheim's landmass. He tells them that he wants the key and they sail with the help of Killian's mystical compass, which had the ability to guide the user to what they desire most.
He sits in his chambers to map out where the compass tells him to go. But as the compass begins to not give him a heading, he becomes parched. With a lantern, he silently travels to the cellars of the ship while his crew was asleep. After he finally finds a bottle to drink, a voice calls to him saying that time has run out for him. Startled, he drops the bottle, causing it to shatter. He looks around in the dark and sees a female figure with messy long blonde hair and a black full-bodied outfit that had traces of a coral reef at the collar. She was sitting on a barrel, dripping wet, facing down. Taking the lantern closer, Killian discovers that it was Silena, Thor's twenty year old biological daughter as well as Loki's goddaughter. Hearing her name, Silena slowly turns to face him as her white pale, bleached face looked cold and neutral like nothing happened as she looked slightly disfigured with traces of small barnacles around her eyes, cheek, and neck while the rest of it was normal but pale. Silena gives him a bottle to drink as Killian tries to get it out of her hand, discovering that her hand was crusted on it, but he manages to get it out her. She tells him that she was resurrected by Hades and joined him and his crew. She then reminds him of his own deal he made with the Lord of the Dead and Sea, Hades, thirteen years ago to raise the ship from the depths. Killian opposes this as he begins to walk away, but she appears in front of him and threatens him that he must either join him or be dragged by the sea monster, the Kraken. He asks her when he will do so. She replies by placing her hand in his own. She tells him that the Kraken will go to the man that has the Black Spot while Killian looks at his left hand where a huge black spot forms in the middle of his hand. Away from his gaze, Silena walks through a wall. Before Killian could say anything to her, he notices that she disappeared. Panicking, Killian orders the ship to be taken to land so he wouldn't be spotted.
On the realm of Niflheim, some Dark Elves patrol the area as Loki, currently undercover to blend in with the poor society, paddles himself cautiously down a stream in a small boat as he sings softly the same song that the condemned people of Asgard had sung. As some Dark Elves, who are looking for him and Maleficent, pass by above him on the walkways, he keeps his head down until he approaches a ledge where he was supposed to be at. He gets out quietly, but gets caught by a group of the realm's guards as they threaten Loki. Bard makes an entrance as he asks about what makes them think that Loki was alone. The guards ask him if he protects him, but Loki stands behind the captain guard and puts a knife to the captain's neck, asking him what makes him think that he required protection. Bard tells them that their master is expecting them. Loki releases the guard as Dark Elves pass by on the path above them and the guards take Loki and Bard into a passageway below. On the walkway above, a cart's wheels appeared as a woman walked by with a hood over her head and a veil covering her face. Her green-yellow eyes appear behind her veil as she wheeled the cart onto the bridge as a monkey on the cart turns a crank to play music.
Loki and Bard follow the guards through the strange, bizarre society of the realm as people stared. Loki asks Bard what their master was like. Bard tells him that he was similar to himself, but doesn't have his merciful nature or sense of fair play. They arrive at the entrance to the hideout and someone on the other side opens a slit in the door until the guards say the password. They let them in, but Bard and Loki give up their weapons to the guards. As they walk to the master's very small courtyard. Denethor appears at the head of the yard and Bard bows, gesturing Loki to do the same. Outside the gate, the same woman looks through a hole of the gate to watch. Denethor welcomes Bard to their realm. Loki and Bard bargain with Denethor for the map and a ship, but Denethor is furious and tells them that someone already attempted to steal it. A man, submerged in a bucket with his face in the water, was forced out of the water, revealing Eric. Denethor tells them that he was the one who attempted to steal it from him. He asks them if he looked familiar to them, but Loki forces himself to act neutral as he sees Eric, alive and well. But as Denethor attempts to kill him, Loki accidentally yelps out Eric's name as he was about to witness his fate. Denethor stops and asks them why they need the map so badly. Bard tosses him one of the nine pieces of eight that looked like a token; making the same hollow noise. Bard tells him that the song has been sung and that all nine lords must reunite, including Captain Killian Jones, as he is one of the nine. When the first Brethren Court allowed them to rule the realms, the rule has been challenged by Algrim, the Dark Elves' leader.
Later, Bard, Loki, and Eric leave the bath house with the map before they were spotted by the Dark Elves. They make a run for it as they dodge their arrows. Loki gets separated from the group as he tries to find Maleficent until a group of elves approached him. Suddenly, an arrow hits one and then another as a Light Elf appears, firing arrows at several Dark Elves. He tells Loki to follow as he says his name: Legolas. The same woman rose her head from her hiding place behind a crate as the music on the cart that she left on the bridge, began to slow down. Another group of elves were about to fire until the music stopped and the cart exploded. Maleficent makes a grin before she came out and pulled back the hood and veil. But as she reveals herself, Legolas gets a feeling that she looks like someone that he knew. All of them manage to get to a ship as Loki joins Maleficent as she stands at the hem of the ship. He asks her if she thinks Denethor will honor the call if there is no where for him to go. She responds that she is not sure.
The next day, their ship travels across the sea of Jotunheim as everyone was covered in ice, incredibly cold from the harsh temperatures. Eric and Legolas look at the map as Eric was moving the pieces around. He reads the one piece: "OVER THE EDGE OVER AGAIN. SUNRISE SETS FLASH OF GREEN". Bard, at the wheel, explains that it happens on rare occasions; at the last glimpse of a sunset, a green flash of light would shoot up into the sky. He also adds that it signals a soul coming back to the living world from the dead. Loki listens on before he approaches Maleficent, who shivers while covered in ice on her cloak, horns, and wings. He tries to warm her by finding an old blanket that was in a trunk on the deck and places it on her shoulders.
That night, as the ship finally began sailing through perfectly calm water with stars all around the sky and water, Eric walks up towards Loki, who was looking out over the rail at the stars. He asks him how long they will not talk to each other. Loki doesn't respond as he turns to face him. He finally asks him why he didn't tell him about the raid. Eric tells him that he couldn't since it wasn't a task for him to be involved in. They continue arguing before Loki finally walks off. Maleficent then approaches Eric, who stayed where he was. She tells him that the things they want most, they should pay the cost in the end. Eric realizes that what she said is coming before he notices the locket she wore around her neck. He runs to Bard, telling him that something is coming. He agrees as if he knew. Loki is confused as he begins to worry. Bard explains that they should be lost to find the places can't be found. Legolas tells him that they were gaining speed mysteriously. Bard once again agrees before Eric quickly takes action and tells the crew to try and turn the ship around. Before they know it, Loki sees a huge waterfall in the distance as he accuses Bard that he was gonna kill them all. Bard tells him to accept it and brace himself. Loki panics as he runs to find Maleficent. She, on the other hand, was chanting silently before Loki manages to pull her away and run to the chambers. As the ship was at the edge, everyone holds onto for dear life before the ship falls over the edge backwards, falling.
After the fall, Loki and the crew awakens to find themselves washed up in a dark, misty place with no one around. Loki sees Maleficent unconscious next to him as he desperately tries to wake her up. She manages to awaken after he desperately performed CPR. As he helps her, he keeps her close while everyone else manages to regroup. Loki comments that he doesn't see Killian or anyone. Bard says that Killian's here and that the map never lies. Eric disagrees, telling him that they are lost. Ignoring him, Bard leads the group from the deserted area to a cave that they see in the distance to set up camp. Maleficent was about to open the locket that was around her neck until Loki appears, asking her what it was. She reassures him that it was a lullaby locket, that played the song that she used to sing to him when he was a child. She opens it and plays it to let Loki listen, almost making him have tears of happiness.
After the group went to sleep hours later, Maleficent awakens from her sleep as she slept next to her 'son'. She sneaks away from the cave silently, only to be followed by Legolas, who apparently wasn't asleep. Maleficent starts to sing as the elf silently follows her harmonic voice. As she kneeled over a hot spring, she began to enchant a spell on the water while Legolas hid behind a huge boulder that was right behind her, aiming his arrow. Silently walking towards her, and before he could fire, he sees her reflection change to another face that was a woman with tanned skin and a tight braid. Dumbfounded, he retracts his arrow silently. Maleficent speaks to him, knowing that he was behind her. He compliments her singing, leaving out everything that he saw. The two have a chat about their past: King Thranduil sending Legolas to terminate her by hunting her down before she went into hiding. She tells him to leave her 'son' out of it; to not tell him anything of what happened in the past, for his own safety. He agrees, but warns her that he doesn't keep promises. They return to camp, only to find everyone else sleeping, including Loki.
As morning comes, Loki awakens to find Maleficent still sleeping at his side as he strokes her feathered wing and kisses her forehead. He gets up, but notices a strange rock. Before he could touch it, the rock forms into a crab. As it scurries on the ground, he follows it, only for Bard to notice. He follows him before the others follow suite. Following the crab down to the beach, they come upon a huge black mass, only to discover that it was the Black Pearl, parked. Walking up to it, they stop to see Killian in the crow's nest, literally trying to 'fix' his compass. Bard calls to him and Killian jumps down on the ship's deck. Before he could say anything, his crew exited the ship towards as they drew their weapons. Amused, Jones lands on shore and tells his crew to draw back. As he looks upon the newcomers, he looks to Fandral before he strangely yells upon him. Fandral tells him where they are, but Jones looks hesitant before he proclaims that he knew (even though he didn't). Jones then looks upon the newcomers before Bard steps up and, while amused, Jones tells him that it's been too long. Bard agrees, reminding him of their feud. Jones nods, but verbally disagrees. This leaves the others, including Jones' crew, confused. He walks upon Maleficent and comments on her, leaving her to smile small, only to quickly fade. Legolas says out loud that Killian is probably drinking nonstop again. Killian says nothing to the Light Elf before proclaiming that none of them are real. Loki steps up and tells him that they are real. Killian looks upon him for several seconds before scuttling back to Fandral, asking him if they were in the right place, to which Fandral agrees. Loki once again says to Killian that they have come to rescue him. Killian turns to look at them and asks why they should sail with him, since one of them has already tried to kill him in the past. Bard tells him that Killian stole his ship and that it was sitting right on the shore. Killian pretends that he doesn't see it as if to mock him. The group tries to convince him to that the Brethren Court is in need of him. Killian finally agrees and takes out his compass to look for a heading, but watches it spin uncontrollably. Bard asks him with a smug smile where they were going.
By nightfall, as the Black Pearl sails, Loki sees dead souls floating by underwater. As he runs to the front of the ship, he sees Maleficent watching them. She reveals to him that the God of the Dead and Sea, Hades, was appointed by Harmonia, Goddess of Peace, to ferry the dead to the next world. In return, Hades was allowed to step upon land for one day every ten years to be with her; but when she failed to meet him, the scorned captain abandoned his duty and transformed into a supernatural being.
The next day, the Black Pearl remains trapped in the dark, bottom realm of Helheim until Killian deciphers a clue on the map, realizing the ship must be capsized to return to the other realms above. He manages to get the crew to rock the ship back and forth to tip it over. The ship is overturned as everyone hangs onto the ship's rail as they waited for the sun to set until the green flash appears at the surface. The ship quickly upturns back to the surface as the sun rises. After it did, Bard, Killian, Eric, and Legolas have a stand-off until their weapons backfire from being wet. Soon after, Killian goes to Bard and convinces him that they should stop for supplies to continue their journey.
By nightfall, they stop at the realm of Nidavellir, home of the dwarves, to restock supplies as they stop at a drinking hut to gather supplies. Feeling her head throb strangely, Maleficent walks off, making Loki grow concerned. She goes outside as Loki follows, growing deeply concerned. She tells him that she was fine and that she needed some air. While on her walk, she is seemingly followed by a dwarf, who found her familiar. Taking notice, she confronts the follower by surprise, revealing it to be a male dwarf named Kili, who was up to her lower chest in height. Panicking by the sudden move, Kili quickly introduces himself and apologizes as he begs for her to spare him. Intrigued by him, Maleficent takes consideration as she lets him go. Intrigued by her beauty, Kili takes consideration and leads her to his home where he served tea and other foods. They have chats with laughs until Maleficent shows him her faery qualities. Kili then tells her that she reminds him of someone he knew. He explains that she looked like his past lover, Tauriel, a she-elf from the Woodland Realm of Alfheim. Flattered, Maleficent takes her leave before Kili follows.
With everyone else scattered, Killian and Eric secretly meet a mystical woman named Galadriel. Eric shows her the drawing of the key before she tells them that the key unlocks the chest where Hades' cut-out heart is hidden; the key is in possession of Hades himself. Once she tells them where the key was located, the men take their leave. Eric takes the drawing of the key in his possession soon afterwards. Finding the so-called damaged ship of the Flying Dutchman in the distance, not far from the realm, Eric is surprised since all he sees is a busted ship instead a fully functional vessel. He comments that it doesn't look much before Killian tells him to not underestimate it. He asks him what his plan was, with him responding that he will search the ship and find the key. Killian then asks if anybody attacks, Eric says that he would cut down anyone in his path. Just before Eric could row off in a boat, Killian stops him once more. He tells him that if he does gets captured once onboard, all he had to do was say "Killian Jones sent me to settle his debt".
As Eric arrives to the scuttled ship, alone, he begins his search with a lamp in hand. He sees one dead crewman propped up behind net-like rigging, and then sees a wounded sailor, who seems to be in shock. As Eric approaches him to get his attention, the wounded sailor is continuously pulling on a pulley desperately, muttering to himself. Eric tells that is was no use and that they have already run aground. The sailor tells him that beneath them, there was foul breath. Confused by hearing this, a body drops behind him from a height, splashing into the water. As he goes to investigate, again trying to get his attention by flipping him over into his back. After he does so, he sees that the man's face is gone, having a puckered piece of skin, which bulges outward. Fearfully drawing back, the real Flying Dutchman shows itself from under the water before fish-like men attack Eric. Trying to back them off, he dips a stranded sword in oil, causing it to catch fire, and waved it at the men who surrounded him. However, he eventually fails as he is knocked unconscious.
Held hostage, the prisoners of the scuttled ship cower in fear, lined up while sitting in a row next to each other. Eric was at the end of the row of the total remaining sailors before he heard heavy footsteps as a dark figure reveals itself as he enters the damaged vessel. He 'promises' some of them a better life if they join his crew, they agreed. However, as others refused, they were killed. Stopping in front of Eric, he asks him what his purpose was. Eric responds that Killian Jones sent him to settle his debt. Hearing what he thought he just heard, Hades asks him to repeat it. Eric repeats what he said before. Back on the realm, Killian watches through his scope until Hades suddenly reveals himself in front of him, not looking very pleased. Killian manages to persuade Hades to call off the deal from thirteen years ago, but Hades says it is possible unless he gathers ninety-nine souls in three days. Killian proclaims that he is willing to sell Eric for the bet and the god accepts before he disappears.
Back at the hub where Loki was, a great commotion is caused by a male that Loki found familiar, seeing that the male was Eomer, the captain of Asgard's royal guard. Everyone stares at the altercation, just as Bard was about to sneak out unseen. Unfortunately, he didn't get fair as Eomer's sword was pointing in his direction. Bard toys with him for a little bit before he simply says that he was hired now as part of his crew. Eomer was just about to attempt the kill before Loki jumps into action and deflects Eomer's sword away from his hand with his magic as it breaks a man's bottle in the process while he was drinking it. A fight ensues throughout the whole hub as Bard calls to Fandral that it was time to leave. As the fight goes into a pause, Eomer arrogantly taunts the men before him. Having enough, Loki simply takes a bottle of rum and smashes it on Eomer's head, knocking him out. As the other men in the bar were confused by the sudden action, Loki tells them that he just had the pleasure of doing it himself. The crowd cheers, and later, they toss Eomer was into a mud pit. Feeling pity for doing such a thing to his old friend, Loki approaches him and flips him over onto his back while saying his name in disbelief and disappointment, before asking him what the world did to him.
At the pier where the Black Pearl was parked, Maleficent waits for Loki as they reunite, before she introduces him to Kili. After they do, she walks with Kili upon the Black Pearl as Loki approaches Killian and asks him if he has seen Eric. Killian lies about what he did and tells him that Eric was forced into joining Hades' crew. Loki, hearing the same name that his mother mentioned, asks who Hades was. As he does, Eomer vomits off to the side over a railing before he tells him that he was the captain of the Flying Dutchman. Killian, noticing him, comments on his well-being before Loki manages to get the pirate to stay focused, telling him that all he wants is to find Eric. Killian asks him if finding Eric was what he wanted most. Annoyed and frustrated, Loki attempts to walk away until Killian proclaims that there is a way to get him back. Upon hearing this, Loki stops in his tracks. Killian starts telling him about the chest, making Eomer roll his eyes in annoyance. Killian ignores him before he continues. This gets Loki's attention, asking him how to find it. Killian shows him the compass that he has, which would guide Loki to what he wanted most. Eomer comments that its broken before vomiting to the side once again. Loki didn't want to believe Killian but he asked him skeptically if it will really help find Eric. Killian agrees, knowing that Loki was influenced by the thought of the chest. He puts it in Loki's hand and opens it, drawing away quickly in order to not influence the compass. Loki looks at the compass until the dial clearly pointed in a specific direction. Killian appears slowly to peer at the face of the compass. Calling to Fandral, he tells him that they have a heading. Thrilled, Fandral runs off to the ship, telling orders before Loki finally boards himself onto the ship.
Meanwhile, on the Flying Dutchman, Eric is drafted into work on the deck, slaving away, pulling rhythmically on a rope, along with the fish-like crew. Just as one of the crewman called the name 'Odinson', coincidently telling both Eric and a female to follow the order at the same time. They both rush to the upper deck to pull the rope as they tell each other to move. As the female saw his face, she is stunned. As she is, she accidentally let go of the rope, causing Eric to grab the sliding rope. The cannon they were hoisting, falls, causing Eric to be dragged across the deck. Ordered by one of the crewmen, they force him to his feet. As they were about to put Eric for his punishment by whipping him, Silena stops the offender. Amused, he asks Silena if she would rather share the punishment, but she prefers to take the whole punishment since it was her that started it. As Hades appears, he asks her why she should do so. She says hesitantly that he is her father, really thinking that he was. Eric announces his name suddenly and Silena is dumbfounded. Hades mockingly laughs before announcing that she should whip Eric instead. She refuses, but as Hades was about to send one of his crew to do it, she took it from his grip reluctantly. Seeing Eric's bare back exposed from his shirt being ripped, she hesitates, but finally gives in before she begins to painfully whip Eric repeatedly and slowly as she cries silently to herself while the crew watches, including Hades.
Tossing Eric's wounded body onto the lower deck where the floor was covered in water by two inches, the crew laughs at him as his back bled from the assault. Silena jumps down to help him, but he retorts that he didn't need her help as he moves away from her with his torn shirt intact, still showing his bleeding back. Silena tells him about her guilt of hurting him. He asks her who she was, with her replying that she was Silena. Dumbfounded, Eric finally realizes that this was Loki's goddaughter. He rudely asks if her actions towards him were an act of compassion. She agrees before noticing his pain and helps him to the interior of the ship. She helps him sit down on a crusted chair and prepares to sew the wounds on his back while telling him about the pain of the whip, how it strips and tears flesh down to bone with every swing. After she was done with his wounds, she tells Eric about the consequence of her deal with Hades; she was tricked to serve him for one-hundred years. Also saying that once you swear an oath the Dutchman, there was no leaving it. Eric says that he swears no oath and that he was in search for the key as he shows the drawing to her. She's stunned before she thinks the Dead Man's chest aloud. He asks her what she knows of it. She responds that he must open the chest with the key and stab Hades' heart, but she quickly rejects that he shouldn't. She tells him that the Dutchman needs a living heart, or there'll be no captain, and if there's no captain, there's no one to have the ship itself. He asks her where the key is, but she responds that it's hidden. He then asks her where the chest was, but again, she says that it's hidden.
Back on the Black Pearl, still nightfall with a foggy mist, Kili is at the deck of the ship on his own, sitting on a barrel as he fiddles and tosses a stone into the air over and over again. Unknown to him, Maleficent silently walks behind him while hovering above his shoulder to see the stone. As she speaks, it startles him, but she reassures him. He tells her that it's a talisman, which has a powerful spell upon it, and if anyone other than a dwarf looks upon it, they will be forever cursed. This terrifies Maleficent for a moment, as she proceeds to walk away. Just before she does, he suddenly says that it might not, making her stop and look upon him. Kili tells her that whether she believes it or not, and jokes that it's just a token. Maleficent gives an amused smile at this. He says that it's a runestone as he gazes at the Dwarfish word printed on it. He adds that he keeps it as a reminder to the promise he kept to his mother. She asks him about that promise. He answers that the promise was to go back to her alive at home once the quest was complete, and he also adds that she worries about his recklessness. The fairy asks him if he was reckless, and Kili says that he's not. He tosses the stone in the air once more before he drops it. Maleficent manages to catch it and she examines it. As she does, Kili asks her what her home was like. She tells him about the wonders and the magic of the forest. Kili notes that he always thought the forest was an old legend. She tells him that the forest was full of memory and happiness, and that it was precious and pure...like his promise. She offers the stone back to him, and he takes it back. She begins to tell of her desire to fly. Kili suddenly says that he thought that he saw her fly once in the moonlight over his village, and he began to describe her flying; how graceful she was in the sky. Maleficent sits down with him as she listens. Unknown to them, Loki stood out of sight, listening to them, as he felt happiness for his mother.
Suddenly saddened, Loki looks at the compass as it begins to point in a specific direction again. He closes the object before he begins to walk in sorrow. Coming upon the side of the ship at the railing, he sees the Elven Prince, Legolas, standing at the railing in the distance. This time, he was cloaked with a hood draped over his head. Loki approaches him, and greets him respectively. The elf returns the gesture as they gaze out together. Legolas says that there is stir in the east, where a sleepless malice moves. Aware, Loki thinks this is Hades' ship, but he wasn't sure. He asked the elf if he could see him, meaning Eric. Legolas responds that he didn't have it in his heart to tell him, and that the evil was still too near. Legolas tries his hardest to try and see through the mist, but as he looks harder, he makes a gasp of pain as a strong force hits his keen mind as if he was being blown away. His icy blue eyes stop gazing at that certain direction as he tries to regain his consciousness. Loki worriedly places a hand on his shoulder as the elf finally gets his mind straight. He says that there is something halting the sight of his eyes, and that there is even a stronger force that is beyond his handling. Loki listens to the dread of his words as he looks into the same direction like before, and fears that there could be something more to Hades than he thought.
Back on the Flying Dutchman, the crewman start to play a game called Liar's Dice. Eric curiously watches as he figures out how it is played. Silena stood with him and asks him if he knows how it's played. Eric says that it's a game of deception and that your own bet involves all of the dice, not just your own. He asks her what they are waging for. She responds that since they can't use payment, they wager years of servitude. He asks if any of the crew can be challenged. She agrees until he declares that he challenges Hades loudly. Right after he says this, everything goes silent before they all hear thumping footsteps above them in approach. Hades soon appears, saying that he accepts the challenge.
The crewman seat Eric down before setting an old crusted game table in front of him, along with a cup and dice. Hades appears before him before Eric stands before him to discuss the stakes. Hades asks him what the stakes are, with Eric answering that he would sell his soul to him if he loses. Upon hearing this, Silena, watching silently, quietly rejects to herself. Hades then asks him what happens if Eric wins. He shows him the drawing of the key to him, telling him that he wants it. Hades is stunned, and asks him how he knows of the key. Eric asks him if that question wasn't even part of the game before sitting down in his spot. He then tells Hades that he could still walk away. Hades sits across of him and reveals the key in his cloak to display with Eric dumbfounded. Hades puts the key back before they both take the dice, put it in the cup, shuffle the dice within it, and tip it upside down on the table. Suddenly, a third cup appears on the table as Silena declares that she is in the game. Eric retorts, telling her to not do this. She ignores him before declaring her first bet: three-twos. Hades bets four-fours. Eric hesitates, but places his bet: four-fives. After him, Silena bets: six-threes. Hades looks underneath his cup, and then says: seven-fives, with the crew laughing. Eric looks under his own cup, seeing his dice, before declaring eight-fives as his bet. Hades then makes a mocking laugh, welcoming Eric to the crew since he knows that he was going to lose. Knowing that he would lose, Silena suddenly declares twelve-fives. Hades looks at her in surprise as if she was joking. Silena looks at him and repeats her bet, then tells him to call her a liar or higher the bet. Hades picks up her cup, revealing her dice to everyone, knowing that she has lied. Angry, He slaps her in the face before calling her a liar and that she will spend an eternity on the ship. Turning to Eric, he says that he is free to go ashore, until mockingly adding that he could the very next time they make port, resulting the crew to laugh and walk away, leaving the two alone. Eric asks Silena why she participated. Silena responds that she couldn't let him lose. Eric retorts that the game wasn't about winning or losing. Silena then realizes that he just wanted to know where the key was. After Hades fell asleep at his organ, Eric sneaks into the room in order to get the key, which was in the god's cloak. Swiftly switching out the real key with the key's drawing, Eric makes his exit quietly.
On the deck, Silena sets down a row boat for Eric to make his escape. Eric approaches her as he sets the key around his neck. She gives him a sword, a jacket, finally offers him a special knife she made while she was on the ship. She says that it was in her blood to die on the ship, to forever serve Hades. Eric tells her that it wasn't a fate that she had to choose. Silena complies with this, and hugs him before saying to him that he should tell Loki that she says "hi". Eric suddenly grows worried, and asks her what will happen if the others find out about her involvement in his escape. She chuckles at his question, reassuring him that they can't do much to her. She adds that she is already hurt as a slave to Hades. He then promises that he will free her, and that he wont stop until the knife he gave her, strikes into Hades' heart. She says that she knew that her family wouldn't leave before giving him a hug. He returns it before lowering himself down into the longboat, rowing away.
The next morning, on the Black Pearl, Killian strolls his ship before he finds a sack of old papers, hidden in a crevice of wood within the ship's rail. Looking them over, he calls Fandral over suddenly, with Loki appearing at Killian's side to curiously see the papers. Fandral suddenly realizes who the letters were signed by: Lord Algrim. Loki confirms that they appeared to be signed by the hand of the lord himself. Fandral wants to know why they were on the ship before a thought came to his mind, that a rumor was placed while they were in the dwarven realm, that the Dark Elves want Killian's compass and some sort of chest. Loki confirms that he did hear the dwarves say something about a chest. Fandral says that if the Dark Elves control the chest, they will control the sea as well as everything. Killian comments that it's truly discomforting. Fandral then adds that it was indeed very bad before walking off. Loki stayed where he was as he hears Killian say that when someone strikes a deal, they uphold it with honor. He also reads from the letters that the prize will be a full pardon for commission as a privateer on behalf of Asgard and the Dark Elves. Unknown to him, Eomer hears this before he goes into thought of his chance. Killian tucks the letters into his coat before proceeding to walk away. Loki tells him that he wants the letters in order to see them. Killian denies this, telling him to persuade him. Loki walks in front of him, and threatens him that Eric has taught him how to use a blade. Killian was unfazed and repeats it to him once again to persuade him. Frustrated and irritated, Loki walks away and slumps on the deck stairs, pondering sadly about Eric.
Unknown to him, Bard strides over to him, while holding a bottle of rum, and sits next to him. He remarks that he looks troubled. Loki responds that he should be with Eric by now, that he should have gone with him. Sympathetically, the pirate silently offers him a drink from his bottle, and the Jotun takes a small swing of it. Kindly, Bard tells Loki to not mind Killian, and starts telling the tale of how he became "Killian"; that he, himself, marooned him onto a deserted island for three days and became "mad" with the heat. Loki becomes intrigued before asking him how he got off the island. Bard eventually tells that it was sea turtles. Oblivious and dumbfounded, Loki looks at Killian in the distance as he was looking through his spyglass. Suddenly, the shout for 'land ho' is called.
At another ship, leagues away from the Pearl, Eric is rescued by the crewman aboard it, while being taken to the captain's cabin, wrapped in a towel. They find it funny of how they would find a longboat in the middle of nowhere. Eric tells them that they should go far away as possible. Confused, the captain asks him what they are running from. Just after he does, a messenger arrives and tells him that a ship has been spotted. He asks him what colors. The messenger responds that it doesn't have any. The second in command exclaims that it was pirates, but Eric says that it could be worse before running to the deck.
On the Flying Dutchman, Hades is on the deck, holding the cloth that Eric swapped for the key. He fists it in his hand before turning to Silena, who was being held at knife point by one of the crewman. Hades suddenly approaches her and grips her neck, making her grimace. He tells her that she will watch what is about to happen before he lets go of her. Below them, the crewman are being whipped while they turn a large screw that would raise the Kraken summoning device. Hades proclaims the Kraken to be released before Silena loudly denies this until it was too late. The Kraken-calling device thumps heavily against the deck, making a vibration through the sea.
Back on the other ship, the crewmen rush to the railing, chattering, to see the Flying Dutchman in the distance. Eric climbs up the mast, so he can see it. He comments to himself that he has doomed everyone on board. He tells over to the whole crew that it's the Flying Dutchman, until a thump hits the side of the ship. The crew look overboard to see bubbles rising up alongside the ship. As the captain shouts orders, a tentacle silently seizes him while the other crewmembers had their backs turned to repeat what he said. Suddenly, the same tentacle surfaces in the distance as it held the screaming seized captain, before it quickly went back into the water, dragging the captain down with it. The crewmembers shout out to others that it was the Kraken. The ship's bell is rung as the crewmembers scurry about in panic. Several tentacle limbs move in different directions as they proceed to grab everyone on board. Eric watches from the mast until a huge tentacle rises above the ship, before it strikes down, snapping the ship in half. As the ship begins to sink, the mast breaks, forcing Eric to jump off and into the water. Coincidentally, he sees the body of the gigantic beast itself while underwater. As he surfaces, he swims to a piece of ship debris, and collapses upon it in exhaustion. He turns back to the sinking ship, and sees the Kraken drag the remains down into the depths. As the Flying Dutchman sails by, he slips off the board and proceeds to hide somewhere upon the outside body of the ship.
On the Flying Dutchman, a crewmember tells Hades that Eric wasn't in the leftover wreck, thinking that he has been taken by the Kraken. Hades proclaims that he wasn't claimed yet by the sea. Stomping over to Silena, who was still held, the dark god tells her that she has a lot to think about. Eric witnesses this, before retreating from his spot. Hades turns around, sensing Eric, but sees nothing. Turning to a crewman, he tells him that the chest was no longer safe, and that they should go to Isla Cruces first before anyone else. Realizing why they should, Hades knows that it was Killian Jones that sent Eric aboard his vessel.
As they arrive at an island, at a beach, in a longboat, Loki, Eomer, and Killian disembark the boat and begin their search. As they walk, Loki is using the compass, as it begins to guide him in different directions back and forth. Suddenly, saying that it doesn't work, Loki sits down on the sand, frustrated, while setting the compass down. Killian looks at the compass, and the needle points at the Jotun, telling him that it does, sitting on it. Confused, Loki looks at him, and Killian tells him to move. With Loki out of the way, Eomer starts digging.
With minutes ticking by, Eomer continues digging in the sand, while Killian is sitting in a lotus position nearby. Suddenly, as Eomer's shovel hits something hard, this catches the attention of all three of them. Brushing off sand, they remove the sand to reveal a large chest. Breaking the lock with a shovel, Killian opens it and they see that there was a pearl necklace, documents, and other things inside. Loki picks up a wax sealed letter, and curiously looks upon it. Taking out what appears to be a smaller chest, all three put their ears to the small chest, hearing a heartbeat. Loki says that it was real, and Eomer amusingly tells Killian that he was actually telling the truth. Killian casually tells him that he does that quite a lot, and yet people were always surprised.
A voice suddenly sounds behind them, with Eric unexpectedly appearing on the beach. Loki is thrilled to see him alive, until he learns that his lover was tricked into retrieving the key. Angrily, the Jotun accuses Killian for lying to him, unaware that Eric was about to open the chest. Killian manages to stop him, but Eomer suddenly defends, proclaiming that the chest will give him his old life back. This breaks out into a three-way fight for the key, while Loki is on the sidelines, trying to break them up. Killian manages to get the key from them, and tries to open the chest, but is suddenly knocked out by Loki as he uses the sleep-charm on him by blowing into his face. After he lets Eric take the key, the Jotun is suddenly held hostage by Eomer, threatening Eric to give him the key. Eric hesitantly, and reluctantly, gives up the key to save Loki's life.
As Eomer opens the chest with the key, it reveals the literally-beating heart of Hades inside. Pronouncing that he will put it somewhere safe in Vanaheim, Eomer runs off with the chest down the beach, making Eric and Loki think that he will take it to a well-secured place. Losing the chest, the key, and the heart, Killian awakens to see the chest gone from the burial site, showing inner dissapointment in himself for losing the only thing that would protect him from the wrath of Hades. Hearing Kili get their attention while he was guarding the boat, the dwarf points to a ship in the distance, next to the Black Pearl, was a ship from Niflheim.
Like I said, this story is based on the "Pirates of the Carribean Dead Man's Chest" and "At World's End" storyline. Except it's a mashup to make one story. A few scene add-ons and a surprising reveal of Maleficent's past.

I must warn you that, when it comes to the works, I tend to be a little preoccupied, or hyper-fixated, with the ones I'm already into. If I lose interest in a story within play, it may either be a short-term writer's block, or if it's time for me to recommend something else. Bear with me, if I ever reject an unfamiliar idea, or suddenly suggest a new one.
