I must warn you that, when it comes to the works, I tend to be a little preoccupied, or hyper-fixated, with the ones I'm already into. If I lose interest in a story within play, it may either be a short-term writer's block, or if it's time for me to recommend something else. Bear with me, if I ever reject an unfamiliar idea, or suddenly suggest a new one.
Biggest RP Pet Peeve: Whereabouts and Ghosting.
Please be present and keep me updated from time to time. I'll do the same.
It's annoying when people become invisible, miraculously appear out of nowhere, and complain, once they find a story cancelled.

Agents approached the newcomer with caution with guns trained on him standing on the platform. A female agent entered the room, wearing her SHIELD uniform and a SHIELD baseball-like hat. Except the hat was tilted down so it covered the top part of her face. She acted natural before she came to a stop when she saw Loki come through. A small smirk appeared on her face. "Sir!", Nick Fury shouted to Loki. "Please put down the spear!", he instructed the God in a slow but firm tone.
Ok. Get well soon. :(
"The Tesseract has awakened. It is on a little world, a human world. They wield its power, but ally is working, knows it’s working, so that they never will learn. They're ready to lead, and our force, our Chitauri will follow. The world will be their's, and the universe our's. And the humans, what can they do, but burn"

Director Nick Fury arrived at the remote research facility. "How bad is it?", he asked the man he was walking towards. "That’s the problem, sir. We don’t know", Agent Coulson responded as he walked with him. "Dr. Selvig read an energy surge from the Tesseract four hours ago", he added. "NASA didn’t authorize Selvig to test the Tesseract", Fury told him straightforward. "He wasn’t testing it, he wasn’t even in the room", Coulson explained. "Spontaneous advancement", he added. "It just turned itself on?", a woman sounded as it reveals to be Maria Hill, Nick's SIC. "What are the reading levels now?", Nick asked. "Climbing", Coulson told him before continuing. "When Selvig couldn’t shut it down, we ordered the evac", he said.

They entered the lab where the Tesseract was being held. "Talk to me, doctor", Nick told Selvig who approached. "Director", he greeted. "Is there anything we know for certain?", Nick asked him. "Tesseract is misbehaving", Selvig snickered. "Is that supposed to be funny?", Nick asked him, clearly not impressed. "No, it’s not funny at all. The Tesseract is not only active, she’s…misbehaving", Selvig sighed. "She’s an energy source. If we turn off the power, she turns it back on. If she reaches peak level…", he began to explain. "We’ve prepared for this, doctor. Harnessing energy from space", Nick interrupted him. "We don’t have the harness. Our calculations are far from complete. Now she’s throwing off interference, radiation. Nothing harmful, low levels of gamma radiation", Selvig explained. "That can be harmful. Where’s Agent Barton?", Nick asked him while looking around. "The Hawk?", Selvig asked rhetorically before pointing behind him. "Up in his nest, as usual", he chuckled.

The man known as Agent Barton was watching the two men interact from the railings. "Agent Barton, report to me. I gave you this detail so you could keep a close eye on things", Nick told Barton through his earpiece before Clint approached. "Well, I see better from a distance", Clint joked. "Are you seeing anything that might set this thing off?", Nick taunted.

A female scientist looked up from her computer. "Doctor, it’s spiking again", she reported. "No one’s come or gone. It’s oven is clean. No contacts, no I.M.’s. If there was any tampering, sir, it wasn’t at this end", the bowman said to Fury before seeing the Tesseract begin to activate. "At this end?", Nick echoed. "Yeah, the cube is a doorway to the other end of space, right? Well, the doors open from both sides", Clint explained before there was a giant flash of light coming from the cube, opening a portal.
Copy that.

Maleficent hummed the tune to herself as she approached a clearing where there was a layout of dirt and dark trees. The moon rays shined over the clearing while the fae approached to what looks like a pond. A very dark pond. Kneeling down slowly above the water's surface. Her long-nailed hand began to hover above her staff as it softly glowed a green color as she chanted. "Dŵr o dywyllwch, llain a black, Sioe stacio yn y drych o yr un I mi", she said in the Elvish language that she used when chanting. The water in front of her began to waver and ripple. Slowly, it began to ripple outwards from where she was.
Will you post as Loki coming out of the portal when you're ready?

Name: Lochila Laufeyson
Alias: Lochila Odinson; Trickster; Goddess of Mischief; Witch
Relatives: Odin (foster father); Laufey (biological father); Frigga (foster mother); Thor (older foster brother); Loki (older biological brother)

Citizenship: Jotunheim (at birth); Asgard (currently)
Marital Status: Single
Faction: Villain
Equipment/Weapons: Daggers

Gender: Female
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 425 lbs
Age: Over one-thousand years
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Blue

Powers/Abilities:
~ SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH
Lochila's immense strength derives from her weight, and allows her to lift between thirty to fifty tons. This allows her to perform amazing feats such as throwing a mortal across a room or through a window, and leaping at great distances.

~ SUPERHUMAN AGILITY/SPEED
Lochila possesses superhuman agility and speed, allowing her to perform all kinds of leaps and spinning jumps/kicks with incredible precision. Her speed and body control allow her to move with acrobatic precision such as moving her arms from behind her back to her front while handcuffed, slide over the floor at high speed, or even climb up with her arms while being upside down.

~ SUPERHUMAN DURABILITY
Lochila is shown to be extremely durable to injuries. Her durability is implied to be far greater than that of a mortal, as she is able to take multiple mighty blows without sustaining major damage.

~ SUPERHUMAN LONGEVITY
Lochila has the capacity to live for thousands of years.

~ COLD IMMUNITY
Owing to her Jotun heritage, Lochika is able to endure extreme cold, suffering nothing more than the transformation of her skin, and eye color whenever in contact.

~ COLD MANIPULATION
As a Frost Giant, Lochila can generate mystic cold. She can also manipulate pre-existing water molecules, allowing her to generate ice and freezing conditions. In respect of this, her body temperature is also exceedingly low.

~ SHAPESHIFTING
Lochila can cause herself to look and sound like an exact duplicate of anyone. So exact, she can precisely duplicate another person's retina in her eyes and alter her vocal cords to match other voices. She can also make herself look exactly like a person who is physically bigger than herself like Thor, but she will not weigh as much as the real Thor does.

~ ILLUSION CASTING
Like Loki, she can create extremely convincing and realistic illusions, allowing her to construct scenarios capable of tricking the mind, such as producing several illusionary copies of herself or another person.

~ TELEKINESIS
Lochila is able to mentally move objects with her mind. When she is angry, she is able to unleash a green seismic blast of her mystical green aura, blasting everything in an area or room through the air and into the walls at great speed. It also seems to be more like generating concussive force.

~ TELEPORTATION
Lochila is also shown in places that are seemingly impossible to enter by conventional means.

~ MIND CONTROL (Temporary)
Gifted by the Chitauri, Lochila's body hordes powerful blue energy which explains the blue luminescent-like lines on her skin (like Gamora's facial lines). With this energy, she can deploy a form of hypnosis on others. This power only works by physical contact to the chest or lips of her victims. While doing this, blue energy enters the body from her touch and will travel to their brain, causing their eyes to distort a blue coloration. This spell can only be broken by blunt force trauma to the head.

~ EXPERT COMBATANT
Lochila is a highly skilled fighter, both with her daggers and hand-to-hand.

~ MASTER OF MANIPULATION
True to her title as the Goddess of Deceit, Lochila's influencing voice is sufficient enough to manipulate others into doing what she wants.

Personality:
Like her biological twin brother, Lochila is not an impulsive person, but she is thoughtful, manipulating, cunning, and intelligent. Due to her title, she displays the tendencies of a sociopath, and is expertly good at lying.

During her childhood, Lochila was mischievous by nature, but was compassionate, reserved, and selfless in general. By Loki's side, she was devoted and extremely dependent on him; classifying him as a figure of guidance in her daily life instead of her foster parents. However, Lochila had a deep resentment of her foster brother as she felt that she was living in Thor's shadow. At adulthood, their envy escalated, and their harmless pranks became more malicious. Using his sister's dependence as an advantage, Loki's guidance became unhealthy, and Lochila began to darken; showing a more aggressively violent side, which, however, makes her a victim that he can toy with, mentally and physically.

Despite her hatred and contempt, all Lochila wants, is her foster brother and father's acceptance, and despite all of her wicked deeds and her underlying hatred of the Odinson family, she cares for Thor, greatly, but she would rarely show humanity when she is around him or when confronted. Deep down, she loves Thor, but she won't show it when around Loki; fearing that this is an action of betrayal to him.
You post first as Loki.
Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D., arrives at headquarters outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico, during an evacuation. The Tesseract, an energy source of unknown potential, has activated. It opens a portal through space and Loki appears, carrying a strange spear with a blue glowing tip. As Fury tells him to drop the spear and stand down, Loki attacks, taking out several agents. As he attacks, another agent began to shift in appearance and reveals a black-haired female with luminescent blue veins under her skin with blue eyes. Loki takes the Tesseract and uses the spear to take control of the minds of several SHIELD personnel, including Dr. Erik Selvig, and Agent Clint "Hawkeye" Barton, to aid him in his getaway. SHIELD personnel pull out of their base when an energy surge from the Tesseract causes the ground beneath the base to collapse and destroying it.

In response to the attack, Nick Fury issues a state of emergency, telling his top agents Phil Coulson, Natasha Romanoff, and Maria Hill, that they are completely out of options. Fury pulls Romanoff and Coulson out of their respective assignments and sends them to find the heroes he needs to oppose Loki and Lochila. Romanoff is found in Eastern Europe interrogating suspects, and Coulson pulls her off the assignment and sends her to find "the big guy": Bruce Banner, aka The Incredible Hulk. Banner has been living in exile in India working for a hospital in Calcutta helping sick people, and has found inner peace doing so. Romanoff tells Banner about the Tesseract and its' destructive capabilities. As the world's expert on gamma rays, Banner is their best chance to find the cube's location.

During a video chat with the World Security Council, the superiors who run S.H.I.E.L.D., Fury is grilled about his plan to bring about the Avengers Initiative. The WSC are furious, saying that it's the wrong thing to do and these people will never work together as a group. Fury says they have no other option and this is their only hope of defeating Loki. The superiors reluctantly agree.

Steve Rogers, on the other hand, is relatively easy to find. S.H.I.E.L.D. has been keeping tabs on him since he was found in the ice and still alive. Fury goes to greet Rogers at his gymnasium where he finds he doesn't sleep. Fury tells Rogers that he will find a briefing packet about what's going on back at his apartment. Tony Stark is seen in a new Iron Man armor that has underwater capabilities. He is installing a new electrical connection that will take his office building completely off the electrical grid allowing it to become self sustaining. He's greeted at his office by Pepper Potts, who tells him that it's date night. Tony wants Pepper to know how it feels to be a genius and after an argument about how much credit she should get for coming up with the Stark Tower idea, date night is off. Coulson arrives, and Tony quickly and repeatedly tries to cut him off. Coulson hands Tony a laptop with all the data on it about everything that's going on. Pepper decides instead to go to Washington DC to get the zoning permits for the next two buildings for Stark Tower as it seems Tony has homework to do, and a lot of it.

On the airplane to the secured location - an aircraft carrier that can convert to a flying aircraft carrier, Coulson is telling Rogers about how it's such an honor that they found him and tells him about his Captain America trading card collection. They then head to the helicarrier and Rogers is introduced to Dr. Bruce Banner. The two then wonder what kind of ride they're in for. Rogers thinks it's a submarine but the last thing Dr. Banner should be riding in is a submerged, pressurized metal container. The carrier takes off. On board, they are briefed that Dr. Selvig, Loki, and Lochila have been traced to Stuttgart, Germany.

Rogers' first assignment is to go to Stuttgart to arrest the twins and bring them on board the helicarrier. Loki is at a formal black tie gala at an art museum while Lochila is undercover using her shapeshifting skills. They manage to kidnap a doctor who harbors the element they need to make the Tesseract work. While Dr. Selvig creates a distraction and Hawkeye kills the men guarding the building, Loki carries out his plan. Outside, Lochila instructs the civilians present that they need to kneel before Loki - or else, and that freedom is life's great lie. They are then confronted by Rogers in Captain America regalia, and Loki orders Lochila to terminate him. After the fight, Tony makes his entrance to the tune of AC/DC's "Shoot To Kill" with full Iron Man weapons drawn and daring Loki and Lochila to make a move.

They quickly surrender when the two heroes arrive, and while being flown to the high tech prison on board the helicarrier, the plane encounters a lighting storm. Rogers asks Loki if he's afraid of lighting but Loki tells him it's not the lightning that he's afraid of. It's what follows. Thor, Loki and Lochila's half-brother and the God of thunder, arrives and attempts to capture the twins, so they can face Asgardian justice for their crimes. Thor is interrupted and gets into a fight with Rogers and Tony. The fight ends in a stalemate. Eventually, Loki and Lochila are taken to the helicarrier and were placed in a glass cell designed to hold the Hulk. Fury explains that if they attempt to escape, even by merely cracking the glass, a shaft will open below them and they'll plummet to Earth, and possibly, be killed.

On board the aircraft carrier, the fully assembled Avengers squad is being briefed by Fury about what they think will possibly happen next. While in the cage, Loki and Lochila have an argument before Loki got physical and pushed her back against the glass while holding her throat, eventually letting her go. While conducting experiments on Loki's scepter, Stark tries to get a rise out of Banner so he can witness Banner's famous party trick by turning into the Incredible Hulk. Banner flinches and then begins telling about how he's been unable to fully harness his abilities and that he suffered depression after the accident. That's why he moved to Calcutta, as helping people is what gives his life meaning.

The Avengers, now brought together, argue and deliberate over how to approach the twins and the revelation that SHIELD plans to harness the Tesseract's power to develop weapons, a discovery made by Rogers. Fury admits that the events in New Mexico a year before, made SHIELD aware of other races on other worlds, some of whom may see Earth as an easy target. Thor is seen asking Coulson about what happened to Jane Foster. Coulson tells him that S.H.I.E.L.D. has placed her in their witness protection program and that she's in a safe zone in London.

The decision was made to produce weapons with the Tesseract as a means of deterrence. As the group argues, Clint Barton and possessed agents attack the helicarrier, disabling one of its engines in flight. While Stark and Rogers attempt to restart the damaged engine, Romanoff tries to prevent Dr. Banner from turning into the Hulk and destroying the ship from inside. Her attempt fails and she's chased through the ship until Thor takes up the battle to pacify the beast and manages to fight him briefly with a hit from his hammer, Mjolnir. While fighting Barton, Romanoff slams him into a guard rail, and the blow to the head breaks the mind control. After the Hulk falls from the ship, Thor is tricked into the twins' holding cell by Lochila, and attempts releases the cell and allow Thor to plummet. As she is held at bay briefly by Agent Coulson, he is stabbed in the back by Loki. Lochila drops Thor's cell and the blonde God drops from the ship. Coulson manages to shoot Lochila, but he falls dead after this attempt. Meanwhile, Thor manages to escape from the cell a split second before it hits the ground and Banner wakes up in his human form after crashing into an abandoned factory.

Fury uses Coulson's apparent death to motivate the Avengers to work as a team. Stark and Rogers realize that simply defeating them will not be enough for the twins; that they need to overpower them in a very public way so as to validate himself as rulers of Earth. In New York, using a device built by Dr. Selvig, Loki and Lochila open a portal to the Chitauri home world over Manhattan, summoning a Chitauri invasion. Once again, the group's petty differences overshadow their ability to communicate as a team, especially with Banner now missing. While in an argument with Rogers, Tony finally figures out that Loki and Lochila are full tilt divas, and that they're obviously at the top of Stark's office.

Natasha, unfortunately arrives too late just as Dr. Selvig has opened the portal. This unleashes Loki's army and all hell breaks loose. The army is massive and they can't all fight them off as much as they are entering the earth's atmosphere. Tony Stark thankfully shows up, as does Bruce Banner. While fighting, Rogers dispatches NYPD cops to direct citizens into the underground tunnels and sewers. Meanwhile, the Hulk smashes, and Tony arrives at Stark Tower, where he attempts to stall the twins with a drink, which is used to intimidate them. As that's going on, Tony has JARVIS prepare an under development version of Iron Man called MK18 which is contained in a giant box coded specifically for Tony and has advanced weapons capabilities. Loki and Lochila refuse to cooperate, saying the destruction will continue as long as the citizens of Earth get that they need to be ruled. Loki attempts to take control of Stark by using his scepter on his heart to control his mind, but it fails thanks to Tony's somewhat trusty Arc Reactor that keeps him alive. That was until Lochila attacks Tony and throws him out the window, only for the suit to follow.

The Avengers rally in defense of New York, but quickly come to the conclusion that they will be overwhelmed as wave after wave of Chitauri descend upon Earth. With help from the reformed Barton, Rogers evacuates civilians while Thor goes after the twins, hoping to reason with them. But this turned into failure as Loki stabs Thor in the side, making Thor angrier and attack him, beating him into submission. Romanoff makes her way, with a little help from the Chitauri, to the device that holds the portal open, but is confronted by Lochila, and the two fight. She manages to defeat Lochila and grabs the scepter to shut down the portal. While Romanoff is securing the portal, Stark is securing the perimeter. Meanwhile, with Fury on a conference call to the council, Fury berates the council's decision to launch a nuclear missile at Manhattan. Fury tries everything possible to stop the council from launching nukes, even destroying two jets that are taking off from the helicarrier. Unfortunately as he's about to fire on a third, it gets away and launches a nuclear weapon.

Tony intercepts the missile and he knows exactly where to put it - he flies it into the portal. While in the portal, Stark instructs JARVIS to try Pepper one last time. Unfortunately the call fails as Pepper is on a plane and glued to the TV with other Stark Industries executives. Tony launches the nuke at the Chitauri mothership, completely destroying the invasion. All the invading aliens collapse and are rendered useless. Stark sees the nuke go just as he runs out of oxygen and falls to what appears to be certain doom. Thankfully, he manages to escape the portal just as Romanoff is able to successfully close it. Once back in the atmosphere, it looks like Tony isn't going to make it, but is saved by the Hulk, thanks to incredible timing. A dazed Stark, awakened by the Hulk's roar, offers to take the team out for shawarma, but they decide to apprehend the twins first. The Avengers go their separate ways. Romanoff, Rogers, and Hawkeye return to working for S.H.I.E.L.D., Tony and Pepper are seen rebuilding Stark Tower and are working on the next phase of the project. Thor escorts Loki, Lochila, and the Tesseract back to Asgard where the twins will stand multiple trials for war crimes from both Asgard and the Chitauri. Meanwhile, multiple TV news reports recap the events surrounding the Avengers, and while they've become worldwide heroes for to some for their efforts in New York, others are fearful and want to know who will take responsibility for the devastation.

On another video conference call with the World Security Council, Fury is being congratulated, but they also grill him that now their secret's out, this group is too dangerous for the world to handle. And Fury is glad - what happened in New York is a warning. A warning to all galaxies that if they try to attack earth, S.H.I.E.L.D. is there to defend it. And they have just the team. Fury also tells the S.H.I.E.L.D. board that the Avengers' whereabouts are no longer being tracked. They've earned a leave of absence, but will be called back when needed. He also tells the council that the Tesseract is where no one on earth will ever be able to find it.
