I am pretty sure we're going to accept the sheet. I'll have a reread. But I wanted to throw it out there and say, thank you for the second chance. If we're going to be real serious here and having a bonding moment. I have Autism, it makes it difficult for me to read social situations sometimes and sometimes I misunderstand the tone or someone's intent. And I don't always word myself best. I try, I am not always good at it. But you share your PTSD, I'll go ahead and share my condition in hopes that you know I understand where you're coming from.

Let's make this RP a fun place. Yeah. :) Glad you're back.

To everyone. Before you hightail and leave, my intentions were not to respond to Rune in a hostile manner. If I came off as hostile, I do apologize. I speak directly and often sternly when I feel something needs to be addressed and it may have come off as rudeness.

If you give me a chance, then I do not normally GM in that fashion. But please, before you run off take it from my perspective. I believe that responsibility is a two way street. I admit I may have misunderstood Rune’s tone, for that I will take responsibility and saw I shouldn’t have responded in the manner I did. But from my point of view as GM, when a member persist, and persist, and persist to continue to thwart our opinions it does look like arguing.

If perhaps the wording would have been different, “I do not agree, can I tell you why?” or “Will you guys hear me out and let me explain my opinion?” Is a much different language than just going, “well I don’t see it that way, because of this reasons and if I had known that you guys weren’t doing it this way,etc.” you can see it coming as confrontational.

I am sorry you had to witness that from me. Please do not see one side of things and leave. We all made a mistake in this conversation. I’ll take the brunt of it, as I always do no matter if I am right or wrong because to me that’s not what is important. It’s about talking out resolutions and coming to an understanding.I am not in the right. There was no one to blame, but a misunderstanding.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up for me. I completely get where you guys are coming from now, I think my comprehension issue was sprouting from the fact that, like I mentioned, I haven't read Fairy Tail in ages so most of the canon and power levels is a vague memory to me, I just like the setting and premise. Also to a lesser extent, it may just have been because I mostly write for TTRPG's so that idea of a power creep is something I'm used to being just completely normal, which obviously in an RP like this it's something you need to avoid. The end game here isn't becoming literal Gods and/or god-slayers - after all, we've already established dragon-slayers is a more reasonable target amiright?

I'll write up a second character, no sweat. If you're planning teams that make my troubles melt away - limited interaction is fine. I just hate the idea of suddenly having two people weigh in on conversations when I control both of them, posts become too long and nothing moves forward during it. Hope you don't mind me rehashing an old character? Give it a bit of a rub and buff?

Maybe it's just me, but you just came off as far too hostile when I was just stating an opinion.

I wasn't trying to debate anything. I was just giving an opinion because I care about this RP and want to see it succeed...and suddenly changing the RP's premise before it even gets started is just bad taste. If it wasn't changed, then it should have just been explained better.

I think I'll save my breath though. After your far too hostile attitude and a few other misgivings I've had about the...GM's that I won't get into, I shall be withdrawing from the RP.

Well when it feels like you're criticizing and challenging what we wanted and what Neo asked, I have to put my foot down somewhere. A simple opinion that sounded like you were arguing with us. That's not entirely fair to pin my behavior on simply us. It takes two to tango. Take some more responsibility for your actions as well.

I will admit maybe I misunderstood your intention. But at the same time I have never been on a website where members write paragraphs and argue with GMs about their decisions as well. So I felt you were overreaching. We already stated what we wanted, we already explained where we're going. It's up to the members to decide whether or not like it and want to stay.

But they shouldn't write us novel lengths of why we're wrong. or feels like saying we're wrong.
