I demand you allow me a loli with glitter powers. XD

..........................don't make me regret this.
Much prefers Popeyes and I don't eat fast food very often.
@AngelofOctober

It's kinda like more hardcore powers then? Like ones that specifically kill people as that is the only thing that differs most of the mainstream guys since their supposed to be the Lawful good guys? While I know Iron Man can level a city with weapons, he still doesn't or such that spider man can snap peoples backs(like he did with his ex lmao) with his web using the proper method he also doesn't use it that way.

So when you said, powers are too messy, too loud, too outside the realm of understanding for anyone to comprehend why they are cool. IS that only in operation or the specific use of those powers. I assume the latter since I'm getting a Anti-hero vibe. I wanted to make a symbiote like character, but is they obvoiusly will need to be loosely tied to Venom and Carnage.

Messy - using your blood, using paint, using glitter

Loud - super sonic powers, heck even Hulks scream is a perfect example of loud

Realm of understanding - for example Vector powers. Nobody seems to understand how Vector manipulation works, despite the fact that to me its very clear how it works and has clear limitations.

They aren't anti-heroes. Just the methods of their powers are unusual. I mean looking at the marketing of Wolverine or any of the mainstream heroes

Wolverine - Steel Claws [I know Adamantium, but they are still steel], super strength, and can regenerate wounds. [not very hard to understand]

Cyclops - shoots lasers from his eyes

Spiderman - has spider abilities

They are easy to digest. Easy to understand.

Now the Superhero who has the power to "cut enemies with a glittery dust storm that is as hard as diamonds" that's a little bizarre and out there and not so easy to understand.

The point was they are the outcast of the outcast. Like you think Wolverine's a mutant, wait till you get a load of these freaks.

I had not heard of that character but a quick google search gives me a giant anthropomorphic chicken. That can't be right?

Anyways, now I know what kind of thing you're looking for give me a bit of time and I'll come up with a character.

The Chk'n Kau is amazing!
If I were to use a pre-existing character, how mainstream would be ideal?

I'm asking because you've got characters like the Punisher who I think work for your setting but are generally well known.

Punisher wouldn't be accepted because of that very reason. Very well known. I am talking if you want to use original character go Bom Bom, Swamp Thing, the Chk'n Kao.
I'm here, you can't see me though, I'm lurking

I see you. :P

You know I don't play this game
Forgotten Heroes: Marvel Underdogs

Who do you think are the coolest and most memorable super heroes? Well kids really think Wolverine is cool. What about Captain America? He makes flag sales skyrocket. Does help he’s also easy on the eyes. What about Storm? She can call the weather. Iron Man is one who outed himself out, is rich and popular. The Avengers seem to be a collection of simply good looking people, with profitable, marketable powers.

And that’s exactly what they are. You, what thought the heroes you all loved and cherished were chosen because they were somehow special and unique? Well you have been force fed that lie in the media. You have been brainwashed to think so. The real reason Fury chose the Avengers or the real reason Xavier chose the people they did for the X-men was simple money.

To sell you toys. To sell you a false sense of security. To market the Mutants and Superheroes as something ordinary and fashionable. And if I sound bitter it’s because I am. Who am I? Well I just happen to be the leader of the team you don’t hear too often about, but we get to strange adventures as well. Our own little journeys. Who’s my team you ask? Well we’re unofficially called Rogue X, more officially the Avengers and X-men all call use Marvel’s Underdogs.

The RP

Welcome to Marvel Underdogs. The concept of this RP is fairly straightforward and simple. This RP will not be about the sexy, attractive, superheroes we all come to love and know. No this RP will be about a team, Rogue X. Made up of powers that cannot be marketed by Fury, the Daily Bugle, or X-Men as cool.

While you could have cool powers, these powers are too messy, too loud, too outside the realm of understanding for anyone to comprehend why they are cool. They’re the powers that make you go “that’s cool, but I don’t understand near as much as a guy who shoots webs from his hands or the guy who forms steel claws”

The RP will be both a half n half RP. Half slice of life sections as Rogue X is rarely called in unless the other guys are doing something even more important. And Half heroic shenanigans. You’ll go on adventures, we’ll have free form arcs.

But I do not want any super heroes that are in someway connected to the most marketed super heroes. I will accept Canon characters who do not get enough screen time or had one issue where they showed up. And original characters.

Good. Only a fool trusts his life to a mild curry. Go big or go home.

I agree
<Snipped quote by AngelofOctober>

Curry, a fine choice! Start off mild and work your way up.

I never started at mild. I went with the extra hot box. I eat spicy food all the time. Mild is for babies.
This is kinda personal thing and doesn't really have any basis in sense, but for some reason I just cannot stand people that only ever join their own RPs, never going into anybody else's. I don't know why, but it drives me nuts.

On the opposite coin, I have been RPing for 16 years. I have already been through the phases

-First phase you start a fandom RP, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Yugioh
and while I enjoy those RPs, I don't want them to be the only RP I ever experience

-Then you do a school based RP, often an academy with something mysterious to it

-Then you join someone's Original RP

-Then you create your own Original RPs

I just like different stories. I don't want to always be in a fandom RP or always in a school RP. And I don't always want to be in a fantasy world RP either with trolls, elves, and stuff.

I want a RP that's creative. Story driven. Unique. Now I am not saying that all of my RPs are original or that I am better than everyone else.

But I am simply not interested in the ideas I have heard before.

I am a creative person and I have a passion of telling stories. So I have a ton of ideas for RPs in my head. I don't necessarily always have a character in mind for other people's RPs. Because I in RL I am an author and write my own novels. And online I write RPs. So I have done a lot of characters. A lot. It becomes difficult then to ask yourself "what haven't I done". Because I have done a lot. There hasn't been something I haven't tried before.
