His arm was beginning to sting. All that bloodlust and excitement was beginning to drain from his body. Like a disappointing climax to a good dream. It was tantalizing and lingering on the tip of his tongue what destruction would have looked like, a killing urge, slowly beginning to fade from his body. He didn’t care to know who the Ghoul was that disrupted the fight with her “moral righteousness”. Or at least at this moment.

“It doesn’t matter any more,” Kristian told Travis as he guided him in the direction they needed to go, “What matters now is trying to get that gunk out of your eyes. And cleaning up your shoulder.” He smiled knowing Travis couldn’t see it and tried to sound as perky as he could about the situation. Reality was that he was concerned.

The Chimera that attacked them. Where did it come from? You think niceness and pleasantries would get those answers? Why did it attack them or was it a random attack? You think niceness and pleasantries would get that answer. Probably not. Still it was best he didn’t dwell on the scenario whatever consequences would come from that were now on her.

“You’re going to have to instruct me when to turn,” Kristian adds.

Kill the rotten bitch and the Chimera. Well there went any plan for interrogation. She just did whatever she wanted huh and didn’t care about what other people did. Thought she was hot shit and now she was trying to save the other. Should just throw a thorn through both their throats. He only briefly looked over towards Travis and then back at the individual.

“Safety,” Kristian responded to her quietly in a more tempered voice than earlier when he was threatening the Chimera. He was trying to fight the urge of gutting them both. Tearing a thorn straight through their abdomen. But for his safety he would hold off for now.

He didn’t want to. His thorns hesitated releasing themselves. Everything in the fiber of his being told him to kill them. His own mind wouldn’t let him go that easily. Just letting prey go away like that and they are both lined up perfectly. But he also needed the protection of these Ghouls in this city. For his own safety.

He couldn’t get his thorns to release because he didn’t really want to. Slowly releasing them making sure doing so would be as painful as it could be.

“You just inject your will without listening to others,” Kristian remarks, “This is your problem now. When it rears its ugly head and betrays you. I didn’t warn you.”

Pulling out the other he makes sure it cuts across some of Mei’s hair and cheek while she’s self feeding that beast.

Pushing a bang out of his eyes, he walked slowly towards where Travis had been standing. He placed a hand on Travis shoulder.

“It’s me, we’re leaving, where can I take you to get your eyes washed out?” Kristian asked grabbing his hand.

She could die for all he cared. She wanted to be the hero, be the hero. He wasn’t here for glory. He was here for protection. She clearly didn’t want any of her own. Didn’t even care to let them weigh in their thoughts before making her own decisions. As if she was more important.Well he didn’t know who her highness was, but he knew her highness would die making decisions like that. Decisions like that pushed others away and she had no ally in him.

At least Travis was easy to steer. That be where he piggybacked from.
Hey folks. I know we're not at that stage yet but how will combat work? Is it a trust thing? Or do we say what we want to do and you say how it goes?
I have no clue!

It's a react thing. you do what you think your character would do and give into account other characters.

beyond that sometimes the team might speak to each other about who does what
Kristian watched the Ukaku user’s heel slam into the head of the Chimera. When he reverted he didn’t seem much older than him. Kristian stared at the individual for a second, eye tearing out lunatic slumped over onto the ground. Weight over his thorns that he hadn't released and refused to do so.

Dying, but still ultimately alive. An inclination in his DNA told him to outright kill the Chimera. But a thought of survivability told him not to expose himself too much to Travis and this new stranger. Clearly if he opted for the death of this Chimera too soon. Knowing that he was not the wallflower at least Travis believed him to be.

Still Kristian was under no circumstance or any inclination that he wanted to spare this Chimera’s life. End it now. End his miserable existence now. It didn’t speak. It came charging at him. It had ripped its own eyes out of its sockets. It was berserking creature. What kind of future would it have? He saw it as a lost cause.

He cracked his knuckles. He watched as the Chimera slumped over and whispered something, he could barely make it out.

Was he conscious? He felt no remorse for the thing. He actually felt more pity for it. It was better off day.

“If you can hear me,” Kristian began, there was a different cadence to his voice at this moment like perhaps he was older, though he wondered who would pick that up in a moment like this, “Convince us, why you should live?”

Could have just killed him. Now he’s opened a can of worms for him to create a sob sorrow for others to feel sympathy for. It pissed him off and he grinded his teeth when no one was looking. He hoped they didn’t care to look or pay close to attention. Instead to listen to this fucking pigs cry me a river story.
Who is still interested?
At first he would have barked at the sudden interruption, but was stunned for a mere second or so. Pepper spray? That actually worked? Note to self get pepper spray. Still it irritated him that someone interrupted their affair, it attacked them first, but whatever what was done was done. And he barely had any faith in Travis seeing at how slow he moved. A slug must have been embarrassed and ashamed by his speed.

When the Chimera was finally on track it decided to run in a straight line towards him. Really? Him? In a straight line. He was looking for more of a fight. And instead this pissbag could barely put up one. Kristian held his ground despite the cut into his arm. Left leg held firm back and right leg held firm in front to hold himself upon contact.

Extending out four of his thorns, well hidden in the tentacle petals that resided on his back. He portuded them forward to stab the Chimera into several pressure places. Two thorns in his shoulders, two thorns in his thighs. Keep coming you bastard you’ll just tear yourself apart you dumb fucking rotten existence.

There was a rather sinister smile on Kristian’s face one he probably hadn’t displayed earlier, and he licked his canines. Fucker!
He hoped Travis was strong. He seemed pretty weak to him when they were talking. He had the awareness of a puppy staring into its own reflection and barking at it. He should give Travis more benefit of the doubt if they were going to kill this chimera though.

Then depending on whether or not their lives would be lived or not would make the difference to his opinion currently about Travis. When the Chimera launched up in the air to barrage them with shards Kristian extended the petals of his rose and simply turned the petals to protect him from the shards.

He could feel them bite into his kagune, but barely a scratch was seen on his petals. He would pay for hurting his rose like that even if it was barely a dent. As he recovered from the toothpicks spat at him, he saw the tail of that ridiculous existing being coming at him.

He could get out of the way, but that would just cut it close. There was still the risk of him not making it or getting injured in the process. He growled under his breath. He was going to rip those wings off this bastards back when they got him in control. Extending from his rose were hardened looking thorns he extended two of them out of the leaves of the rose and allowed the tail to hit the thorn.

Extending from the single sharp thorn were several more thorns from a single branch. Caging the tail the force and speed of the tail had him slide back, but it was just enough to slow down it’s momentum. Quickly letting go of the cage, while the tail was near the end of hitting its target Kristian managed to jump back part of the tail clipping him on his arm and ripping his sleeve.

Looking over to Travis he saw him adjusting for the Chimera’s attack. Stupid.

Expect an update this week!!!!!!

With that said him and Travis could have parted ways. That could have been the end of the conversation and perhaps maybe he would call Travis. He noticed it before it happened, the sudden shift of wind, the ominous chilly breeze that began to pick up. Kristian smirked, though Travis didn’t notice. He was too distracted by a Chimera showing up.

Some ugly son of a bitch with wings and a tail. His creation looked like a bloated existence of discarded parts. He felt his heart race. A part of killer’s rage rising. He didn’t feel any resentment for the creature, nor any remorse. Just excited, itching with anticipation.

He wanted to see Travis next move. It shouldn’t have surprised him then that he was trying to get them to turn tail and run like a pussy. The Doves would not appreciate their efforts and neither would the Humans, but it was the best excuse he had.

“We can’t run,” Kristian told Travis, “While we wait for the Doves to show up. People could get hurt. It doesn’t matter if we don’t get praise. What matters is we stop the damage done at all cost.”

Oh he was really excited right now. He could feel an itching, a crawling sensation in his blood. He said it before he liked the ones that were upfront about what they were. And certainly this chimera was upfront about its intentions. It didn’t make him scared the way Travis nice demeanor made him scared. It made him desire to kill it.

A rose bloomed behind his back. Even if Travis didn't intend to kill, he did.

Travis was an odd one to read. He wasn’t sure if he denied his offer because he was cautious of him or not. Handing him his phone number was not the act of someone cautious of another, and yet at the same time he wasn’t sure what to think.

Travis seemed too friendly. Too open. How could he be so unguarded in a world that was as bleak as this? Or at least the future at times seemed so bleak. Still Kristian stared at the number and stared at Travis with a little fidget of his fingers.

“Well,” Kristian looked embarrassed by this honest confession, “I don’t have a phone.” Kristian smiled. “But I’ll give you my number when I do get one.”

He looks away. White hair falling into his eyes for a second as he brushes it away.

“Truth was….I was scared to go alone,” Kristian tells Travis, “But it is weird….isn’t it. To ask a total stranger to be friends with them and immediately ask them to go somewhere. How about next Friday? We can plan for next Friday. That seems more natural.”

Kristian turns back to Travis with a gentle smile.
