If you're not trying to romance the Pokemon, what's the fucking point?

Can't help but read 'woah' as a regular 'wuh', but 'whoa' as a deep, masculine 'HOO-AH!'

That's patently untrue. I planted some potassium the other day, and no matter how much I watered it, all I got was explosions.

According to the IRC, I'm a low-grade troll. They're probably not wrong.

Something will need to be done about those pesky not-elementals once Murmur and Basheer are freed up. We can have another incomprehensible collab! If Stand ever ends...

Once all the rest of our absurd self-imposed workloads are done or forgotten, anyway.
Buenos días, Batter.
A very late creation sheet for change-eaters, now also known as entropites, long after I should have figured out a cool name for them.

It doesn't really tell anything we didn't already know, but I feel like I need to make one for all my major species.

Aw crap, now I'm just imagining Toun's broadcast being sped up so much from the time dilation that it sounds like a caffeinated chipmunk fired from an air cannon.

How about we just...pretend that plot hole isn't there and carry on?

How about instead we rationalise it by saying that Toun just spoke very, very slowly.

For over a year the Immortals had to stand around and watch awkwardly as Toun made really low droning sounds with his mouth. Poor guy, this death hit him hard.

@Antarctic Termite @Kho By the way, I wanna thank whoever put that video in the post. You just introduced me to my new favourite genre of music :)

Jokes can be a complicated medium with significant social swaying power. They are a tool we use to deny agency. That means we have to treat them with caution. Taking jokes seriously while still laughing at them is not a bad thing. It is something we should feel obliged to do. A joke about illegitimate authority can help break the illusion of invincibility. A joke about a vulnerable minority can devalue what they have to say.
Marriage is a bad idea at least most of the time, regardless of who's involved.
Seems like one of the better possible outcomes. I'll make eggs on toast.
@Vec The Other is Jvan and Vowzra's contribution to the Codex. Jvan made unusual life flourish in the pockets of blankness overlooked in the Codex on turn one, and Vowzra contaminated that ecosystem with creatures (possibly sentient?) from the Hells of Time to produce a powerful and aggressive hybrid fauna.

Backstory aside though yeah that sounds about right.
I had been hoping to have Teknall ask Vowzra about the whereabouts of the Codex. I guess Teknall won't be getting answers from Vowzra anymore, though. I'll just have him stare in shock and awe at the devastation wreaked, then piece together what clues remain.

Also, how will Amartia escape from New Chronos? Demigods aren't intrinsically capable of interdimensional travel, and that hyperbolic border between New Chronos and Galbar would take interdimensional travel to cross. Unless there's a portal, would Amartia like some help @LokiLeo789? Teknall might go prodding in there soon, looking for a few answers, and might be inclined to let Amartia out.

There is a human-sized stone portal into the bubble under Old Bark-Skin, though it's more of an open door than a portal (the Gate Unguarded). Part of the idea behind this colossal text-fest was to 'open up' all the cool resources in Chronos so that they could be available to other characters, particularly the magic spiders and Sertzamen-Vremae.

Still takes a journey to the north pole to get to, but at least you won't have to climb Everest and fight an old man with a sword and incredible gymnastic talent.
That was climactic. And world-shattering.

So, just to be clear, what does the north pole look like now? Is there some giant bubble dome, or is it invisible, or what?

And can the Cube be read?

I need to construct a sort of reaction post for Teknall, since so many major events have passed which he would have noted but I haven't written about them.

Giant u-shaped bubble dome is kinda what we settled on. The interior can be observed but not in much detail.

Not sure about the Cube though. Amartia will probably pull a prison break from in there sometime soon. @LokiLeo789 Sorry for not including you in the whole mess; We ran into some confusion in the early planning stages.
