If you're not trying to romance the Pokemon, what's the fucking point?

Can't help but read 'woah' as a regular 'wuh', but 'whoa' as a deep, masculine 'HOO-AH!'

That's patently untrue. I planted some potassium the other day, and no matter how much I watered it, all I got was explosions.

Sigh... Now I have to actually write things for my creations.

Actually writing overdue creation sheets, kek.
Khoshep will be remained sickle blade.

Did you mean khopesh? The khopesh is the Egyptian sword design you mentioned Xerxians using glass versions of.

A Khoshep, on the other hand, is when Kho becomes a shepherd and has trouble with troughs.

So general question, what happens when Magic is Sciencified?

Imagine a staff that shoots lighting. Now imagine a gun that shoots electricity arcs.

Imagine a fireball. Now imagine a rocket launcher that launches incendiary rockets.

In the case of Astartian Magic, you could just look at genetic engineering, exo-skeleton suits or plain old cybernetics

Are we looking at an eventual obsolete-ification(???) of magic here? Because if so, that would be an awesome challenge for Astarte.

I think we'd be looking at it from a very Earth-y perspective to consider science and magic like this. Far-future technology on Galbar wouldn't compete with magic. Instead they'd integrate.

Imagine a rocket launcher inscribed with elemental fire runes launching incendiary rockets that erupt into flaming demons on hit.

Imagine a Tesla gun in the hands of a lightning mage who can control its electricity so perfectly that he can hack computers from 500 metres away with a thunderbolt.

Imagine- Biotech space marines who augment their incredible physical and mental capabilities with the power to distort fate to their will so that nothing is impossible to them.
Drop site 1 has a river mouth, so that seems the most useful for now, assuming this internet legend can swim.

>Select Drop Site 1.
I'm quite certain about it. Thanks for clarifying.
Suits me, I was expecting all of them to be linked up together.

The new mind isn't a manifestation of her cultists, though, or not entirely (I am almost certainly stealing that interpretation now that you've mentioned it; Cheers, man!) It's still definitely an aspect of Jvan.

Heartworm doesn't have the heart to actually fight another god, though. It'd worm its way out of the situation.
Oi, @Antarctic Termite. Is that Jvan I see signing the Oath of Stilldeath, or are you calling this rebel hive-mind Spiral Palms now?

Or is Spiral Palms one of your urtelem sculptors this whole time and I'm too tired to remember?

Nice posting as always.

i have no idea

It's the as-yet-unnamed splinter mind signing the Oath in Jvan's name, much like when you go to a sketchy pub, blackout for three days and wake up in a court of law getting sued for fraud by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan. This also counts for Heartworm (presumably? Unless consent needs to be given individually).

There is significance, though, in the fact that the splinter mind is using a mortal-given name, and solving its problems with mortal means.

>Hi my name is Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way and I have long ebony black hair (that's how I got my name) with purple streaks and red tips that reaches my mid-back and icy blue eyes like limpid tears

@LeeRoy

I'll keep that in mind!
@Antarctic Termite
I am fascinated, maybe if this roleplay is Casual, Tabletop or Advanced I'll throw in my hat. I'll watch this roleplay either way.

I'm honestly stuck. It could be free, casual, or tabletop, but I'm worried about a low player count outside of casual, and I do want shorter and faster posts than the casual stuff I'm used to.

Having said that, though, my 'casual' group is pretty much an advanced roleplay in a Groucho Marx disguise, so...

Anyway, I'll do a bit more scouting in tabletop while I finish my writing backlog and let this stew for a few days in the meantime. We'll see what works out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh man, this looks great. Totally going in for this. How many stat points are we allowed for our characters to start off with?

Looking at 12 for stats and 3 for traits. That number specifically so that, evenly distributed, each stat only measures a dependable-but-not-great 3 points in each stat (the default being 1). That way, to have a high number in one place you need a low one elsewhere.

Traits is just to keep things simple. Three minor traits, a major and a minor trait, or one specialised, level three trait.

it'd be funny if you brought jvan in it as an oceanic abomination-boss-enemy-god-thing

im sold

...I honestly didn't think of that, but I'm passably tempted.
