Armis watched Armalldo walk away to go feed 'wolfy' and she got a bit worried for the guy. She had gotten away from the wolf hybrid because she was intelligent enough to know what to do. Armaldo, while charming and very nice, wasn't exactly a sharp tack.
but isn't he?
Armis paused to entertain this thought. Armaldo had most likely grown up in the wild with no human interaction yet he was speaking in fairly understandable English. She had also seen him periodically speaking to each of the students. She realized now that he wasn't just speaking to them, he was cataloging them. She felt rather bad now about doubting his intelligence, but that still didn't mean that he would be okay against a genetically altered wolf hybrid.
But then again, Armaldo had most likely grown up in the wild, and if he had he would have had to deal with predators before. All of this debated in her mind before she gave Kara her answer without turning away from watching Armaldo.
"I'm not sure if it would insult him or make him laugh, but I think Armaldo can handle himself. I think he's more resourceful than most people give him credit for."
She turned from watching Armaldo and looked to Kara with a smile.
"So, on another topic, what about you? what was your past like? I'm guessing you were actually able to live among the humans. How was it?"

Armis turned from her conversation with Kara and looked down at what was obviously an Armadillo hybrid. She smiled at his rather adorable way of speaking, and went to hold out her hand. She hesitated though, thinking it might not give the right impression. If he was raised in the wild like her, but without human influence, he would have no idea what a handshake was, and might take it as threatening.
But if he doesn't learn how will he if no one shows him.
So she held out her hand to him and spoke in a gentile tone, "I'm Armis, and I'm an Armadillo Lizard hybrid. Pleased to meet you."

Like this but with sand brown skin and spines that would blend in with a desert.
Hybrid Animal: Armadillo girdled lizard
Abilities: She has an armored body that is bullet and possibly explosion proof. (she's never tested that) she also has a tail that is barbed lke the animal's in the picture which she can use as a weapon. Armis also has enhanced night vision and excellent desert camouflage as well as an excellent sense of smell.
History: Armis survived outside the lab primarily because she was 'released' into Nevada and she could hide and live in the desert without many people seeing her. Her home is a hand dug underground space about the size of an average master bedroom. She did have to go into the human populace a few times, somewhat out of curiosity, But mostly to feed her main passion... Reading. She would go into Human cities after having stolen some money out of a hikers bag. Her home is litteraly lined with nothing but books. She was brought back in by a black-hawk Helicopter dropping into the desert near her. She managed to hide by pretending to be a rock. She did this successfully for about seven hours before someone finally found her because her stomach growled loud enough to scare a bird that had landed on her. Then the men who came spoke to her and explained what was going on, and how she would be killed if she didn't comply. Armis, reluctantly agreed to go, as long as they brought all her books. They ended up calling in a second hellicopter to carry them all.

Dante figured she might as well get it out of the way now.

She got up and walked over to the weights in the corner. When she got there she placed her hand on the metal of the weights and her hand started to turn into the same metal. She turned and walked back to her seat,but on the way her whole body became metal under her jumpsuit. As she got close to the benches that became apparent. Before she sat however, she addressed everyone on the benches. Her voice sounded off, but not to different from normal.
"My name is Dante and I have the ability of Osmosis. I can turn into anything I touch. I can also absorb and hold electricity for a short time."
Dante figured she might as well get it out of the way now.
"I will, Doctor."

Armis collected a small bag of dried scorpions and began to intermittently munch on those as she spoke to Kara.
"Well usually I lived out in the desert by myself, but when I was younger I stole the bag of a hiking human and found a book inside that had animals that looked like me in it. It took me forever, but I was able to teach myself to read by stealing children's toys from dumpsters and such. The first time I actually went into a human home was a few years later, and it was so I could get more books. Apparently the name of the place was Las Vegas and as I entered the city you know what I wore."
She gave the girl s sly grin," Absolutely nothing. I didn't wear a disguise or clothes or anything. Of corse I was nervous, but I didn't think anything bad would happen. And I was right. I didn't realize it at the time, but everyone who saw me thought I was wearing a costume for a show, or some kind of costume party."

"At the time I didn't get why no one was pointing out that I was different, but now I think it's hilarious."
