Also, I just finished up Miles' little arc. Once others do the same we can get into the meat of everything.

Does this include my meat?

I'd advise straying away from Alien if you can help it. This isn't a recommendation but I love seeing a non-powered player pulled off well, so don't shy away from that if that's what you want (I see too many players do so.) As for magic, I 'm not opposed to it but magic is kind of tricky in this universe as Wraith, Hilly and I never really decided on a concrete route for it (So really...Wraith and I). I'm low key the resident expert on it, but I'm even winging it a lot. If you want to do that, just let me know and we can work that out

Try to avoid Alien-based origins, got it. Concerning magic, I've already pretty much ruled that out since we have... Two? Magic-based characters. So far there's just non-powered-but-highly-talented-wants-to-be-Batman-but-he-won't-cause-there's-only-one-Batman-fuck-you-Nightwing, and CME-empowered, more than likely.

The only two concepts I had for the former archetypes was an artificially-engineered transhuman with alien potato-pieces, and the son of a random God or whatever, but less Wonder Woman or Percy Jackson, and more Perseus from Greek myth. You know, he's a basic bitch.

The powersets of the currently active characters are as follows:
  • A form of energy manipulation (primarily manifests as hand extensions and forcefields)
  • Density manipulation, that gives way to intangibility, durability and superstrength
  • An all-round psychic (Precognition, psychometry, clairvoyance, telekinesis... Basically everything except telepathy)
  • Whatever convoluted bullshit Hillan's superspeed-ish power is supposed to be

Looking at the powersets, I would perhaps suggest something explicitly offensive. Whilst all of the characters do have aggressive applications of their abilities, they strike me as primarily being defensive or more practically applied outside of battle. And whilst those are definitely useful, I think our little gang of misfits would struggle in any serious conflict without some real muscle to pack a punch.

But that's just my suggestion. My most basic advice would just be to make the character you want to make, and Stein will guide and inform its development from there. I can't wait to see what you pull together. :-)

Thanks, Bruh. And, I mean, I have about 50 character ideas in my head right now, so I'm pretty flexible. Any limits on origins? I see we have magic, as well as a variation of Wraith's Hyperhuman origin with the CME wave, but aliens? Non-powered? Any character archetypes that anyone would prefer was left out?

Well, the goal is to change the inconsistent delivery of this RP. With some new blood, I'm thinking that is possible.

If you can whip up a character, we'll go from there

Thanks, dude. Any character preferences/recommendations? I.E. someone the group would think is required to balance out the party, etc.
Also, CS incoming. Keep an eye out. Hopefully, if accepted, I can get an intro post out quicker.

What you buying?

What are you selling

Subpar products with less-than-consistent delivery.
Yo, so, uh... You guys got any room?
By the way, been meaning to ask. This'll be a dumb question, but where is this set exactly? State/country-wise? Michigan?
Okay, shit, I'll get my CS up by today. Wouldn't wanna miss the raid!
Yeah, I've fleshed out both in my head already, and they could be hella useful. Senses would be more about tracking, countering, scouting, etc, speed would be more aggressive, running for the crew, all that shit.

Eh, fuck it, I'll flip a coin if I can't decide.
Sorry for the holdup on a CS, just kinda... Stuck on a decision.

As a personal note, would speed or senses be better choice on power-set? Gameplay and just... Aesthetically I suppose. I can make either work, just stuck for now.
