"Bloody hell. Screw this." MC said, lazily dodging the ground fire coming at him while the ship just dispensed more aliens. Getting a mischievous idea in his head, MC opens a couple portal tunnels until he is deep within the ship, easily finding the reactor. Opening another portal, Mc splits up the core into bits using his portals. But instead of causing a big explosion like he thought was going to happen, the ship just lost power and started to fall to the ground, MC portaling out and above the ship. The ship did make a satisfying reverberation as it hit the ground though, so he was a bit happy with that, or so he accepted, and began to look for something else to do. No one was firing at him at this point, having been crushed under one of the ships he grounded.
<Snipped quote by Archmage MC> I'm guessing that's some sort of EMP? Ruby's suit is protected against that but surprisingly, that's her biggest weakness.
No, her reality shift. If Light touches her for a little bit, probably like 30 seconds to a minute, the delicate components in her suit will start to operate on cartoon physics, making processors and chips unusable as they'll be 'rubbery'. A few minutes, and the more simple stuff like the plates will also operate on the same physics, and yeah. Its why she can't even carry a cell phone xD. or use guns, or swords... or anything with very delicate or intricate parts. course if her suit can handle running on all negative cartoon physics, then thats a different story.
Ah, for past actions... Light - Has become the face for heroic metas due to Constantine's involvement in trying to portrey some pro meta propoganda. Light enjoys the attention, but also finds it annoying that she has to do public speeches on occasion. Also shes annoyed she can't do some of the thigns she used to. The Government also backs Light, or some parts do, aiding to her public image. Not to mention she looks adorable on posters and the like. And the obligatory power increase, most notably Reality Shift not taking as long to work. And I can't seem to find her old CS. Should I make a new one then?
Just make sure shes on her toes if you want Light there. Hole to oversized hammer will probably hurt, and she can make technology no longer work if she touches it for a minute or so.
So... when do I post again?
Light shrugged. "I wanna go after the bigger threat. I'm still sorta pumped from the previous fight, and I can teleport now! Well... Kinda." She said, annoyed at the now female Dean for splattering Taylor's brains all over the back of her head. "And if I remember right, Ruby isn't much of a threat. Shes too cocky to be one. Now that I can sorta teleport, considering the stripperiffic armor she wears, one punch would end her." Light said. Giving it a bit more thought, she continued. "If you guys wanna go after the other one, who this guy is hesitant to go after, I can probably take out Ruby alone. Unless you want me to come with you guys for the harder one."
Well if I did use DnD shenanigans you'd call me OP so yeah... lol.
Guys, I want your thoughts: was the fight with Director David Taylor too easy, or too hard?
Eh, I didn't use any DND shenanigans, so I'd say it was easy.
"How many holes do I have in me now? I lost count." Light jokingly said as she fell to the ground with Taylor, still holding onto his body. "I'mma carry this corpse til it disappears. Hope your all ok with that? Don't want some super powered zombie down the road." she said as Taylor's armor began to look more cartoony every moment, and soon his body would as well. "Seriously though, yikes. You guys wanted him dead. So many swords and claws and stuff. I dunno what your beef was with him, but whatever. I'll be super mad if I get in trouble for this guy's death though." Light said again, grabbing a bit of cable that was scattered around the room and tying Taylor to her back, his blood noticeable on her pure white skin. "What now? I'm sorta just going with the flow at this point." Light said, sitting on a chunk of stone and playing with her hair. "Or are things going to get boring at this point?"
I only skimmed the whole "technopath vs AI" thing, but if the AI was using quantom mechanics instead of binary then you'd have to very clearly define what a technopath can do. From the sound of the word, they can take control of things running on a binary system, not a quantom one. But then now your getting into theoretical science so yeah, things get murky. Also whoever is making an AI, Light is going to be your worst enemy, more so than the tecnopath. Sure even fi shes your friend she'll prob be your wort enemy. Reality shift makes technology not work around her for very long, so you can't touch her without massive negative side effects xD. Unless the tech can handle being cartoony and running on cartoon physics (the negative ones), then maybe you'd be fine.
