One of the dream people noticed Light, came up to her, and asked her an odd question, wondering where Light came from and talking about some sort of car ride. "No, I came here from the sky, or the ground, or whatever works best in dream logic." Light said. She heard someone calling out a volleyball game a little bit away, and either out of sheer boredom or interest, Light walked over there to join up with the man.

"Great... I'm sure I know this guy from somewhere, maybe." Light said, looking over Loki while brushing some sand out of her dress. "I'd think people would think its a bit weird for a cartoon girl wearing a dress on the beach while everyone is wearing swim trunks or bikinis, but this lot doesn't seem to mind. Dream logic." Light said to herself with a smirk.

Hm... Hate to say it rin, but that about sums up my past interactions with you as well.

Writers block shouldn't really be an issue anyway. Just type a quick to the point paragraph without much garnish using almost no pronouns and that'll suffice if you've got block. I know I do it with other RPs i'm in.

changing his ability at this point doesn't matter considering the char himself doesn't fit for this rp so just best to accept my cs as a no. I have a very particular backstory that makes him the way he is and a set goal he's aiming for, but it doesn't fit and pointless playing him as a one off villain

Why not recreate the Medic from TF2 like I suggested, or a parody or something. I mean, did you watch Meet the Medic?

If it helps, Light thinks she is dreaming. Though having someone acknowledge her presence somewhere would help her be more acclimated. lol.

To be honest, even with the stuff suggested I think he'd work a lot better as a villain than a member of the crew, but that's just me I guess.

I'm fine with that, though it'll be hard to make him more than a single arc villain. I can't think of a single villain who was serious that lasted more than 1 arc. Buggy isn't serious so he doens't count.

You know, @samreaper, you could always just ignore Devil Fruits entirely and make your dude a chemist, shouldn't be too far of a stretch since he's already a doctor apparently. Remember, you can do weird stuff in One Piece without needing a Devil Fruit; you could very well say he received his abilities from chemical treatments. You can do the pain fluid bit by saying his pores produce a transdermal irritant- in other words, sweating tear gas. Shutting down his own pain response (which is generally a really bad thing just saying) can easily be explained with anesthetics I guess.

Now, the turning intangible and mental control things would be kind of hard to justify, so maybe let's run with the drugs and chemicals theme. Like, say, he's got a spinal tap with a variation of the Energy Steroids that he can use to temporarily bulk himself up ala Bane, or possibly some sort of gauntlet apparatus that can store up his sweat and launch it like Bakugou from MHA. Maybe he's got sort of a mad doctor thing going, mixing up crazy new drugs and steroids to test-run on his crewmates; that could be a simple way to have your character help out and give people a valid reason to keep him around, yeah? Just some suggestions, is all.

Or how about this; Make him the Medic from TF2. Syringe gun that shoots out chemical cocktails and all that. you gotta remove the intagiblity and mental control things, but they're the things people are complaining about anyway.

Plus who wouldn't want a crazy experimental German guy on their side. You can live Meet the Medic!

Light wandered around the beach she found herself on for awhile, looking for something to do. Apparently she was dumped on some sort of empty beach, no buildings, no trees, and no people. She found it quite boring and unnatural, to the point where she wondered if she was dreaming.

"I don't know why I'm having a loner nightmare again. Its bad enough that this is more or less how I feel when I'm awake. I don't need this when I'm asleep." Light muttered to herself, drooping at the thought. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, she found herself near a group of people, one of which was trying her best to ride some strange creature.

"Ok, am I just on some psychedelic trip or something? I didn't think LSD worked on me." Light muttered to herself, utterly confused on what was happening. She waved at people to see if she could get their attention, but she was skeptical, doubting if they were even real.
