And yet you don't help the main problem I'm having, I have to do all the thinking, even the nerfing, while still keeping the character Deadpool-like, and any solution I come up with you guys don't like because no one can think past "Punch it til it dies" or wants to give any ideas besides "I don't like it, do something else!". Heck, when Bee tried to end that fun beach arc after 5 posts, I gave him reasons as to why what he did wasn't very good and how to still do what he wanted to do, but in a way that wasn't so intrusive. It would be awesome if you guys could do that sorta thing.

As for all the other people, I don't really care what they have for powers if its used to make a fun story. Its a bloody superhero RP and in the end how the power is used is dictated by the OOC and never the IC.

I'll skim through the OOC in a bit, but if someone could give me the cliff notes of what I need to know, that'd be aces.


TDLR I was in the previous two RPs, They want to nerf my character but don't give any good ideas on how to do it to their liking and I'm complaining that no one is even bothering to use the actual weakness I gave her/having to think of the weaknesses and they like them but still don't like them, if that makes any sense.

I'm gonna have to heavily agree with you here. We added the auto-hits as a way to balance her from a GM perspective but if substantial nerfs were made to her then we would no longer need to balance her as GMs as she would naturally be on-level with the other characters. I understand the idea that Toons can go through anything and still get back up but if we maybe worked on adding some element of mortality to Light, I think she'd certainly be more balanced.


Well to be fair I suggested auto hits because people complained that they couldn't punch light until she keeled over and allowed them to see if people could hit then contain her, but that didn't happen either and I had to write how she got beat so yeah... In essence it was mostly useless overall.

And I still don't know why you don't think containment is bad, esp now where Iron = burns and silver = spontaneous combustion.
@Archmage MC ok so here's where i stand with light: yes, she's op, but honestly i trust you with that because auto-hits were a common occurrence and she did lose every fight she was in. so my issue isn't so much that i think you're gonna abuse light's power, but more… it's not as interesting to have her when we know her opponent is guaranteed a win. she's more of a shiny ornament than an actual contender, and we're constantly told she's super strong and powerful but we're shown someone who can never manage a victory. my advice would be to nerf her some more to make her powers more on par with the other metas in the rp. she'd be weaker, but you could remove the auto-hits and insta-losses, and actually make her a more powerful character. she'll still lose some fights, sure, but now there'd be the possibility to win some, too.

now, for the powers, i'm happy you started incorporating the fae thing and the weaknesses to iron and silver, but now instead of being a toon or being a fae she's kinda this odd mix in between. my suggestion is you pick one and stick with it.

Yeah, that iron weakness will make her much more managable. Remember, Steel/Stainless steel is exeptionally commonplace almost everywhere and thats just refined iron or an iron/chromium alloy. So if shes giving you trouble, just grab a manhole cover. xD

If you need explinations for each power I can give them no problem as to how I understand faye/demon things.
Light could lead them maybe, but thats sort of like having Deadpool lead the Avengers, IE, it might not end well...

Light was part of the reformists back int he old topic, but Acrro hasn't said if he wants me to retcon her to be more faye powered or not.

And if not, potato, you might get annoyed with all the justice you'll need to dish out for some reason.

Great. SOPA for Artists. Gotta love what the US congress wants to try to get away with. Even if you don't live in the US, this little law being passed will affect you dramatically due to how Google is a US business as well as many art selling sites and the like.
Erm, you're kinda supposed to hit someone without being hit yourself, ya' know. Lol. Since we were allowed to auto-hit, that's what happened, you'd get automatically hit so your attacks would suck. Pretty self-explanatory when the context is put into place, right mate?

Pretty sure you just used a healing pot afterwords to negate all the energy lost in the fight.

Batman tactics > something every character can do if they apply a little brain power behind it. A cop with a .45 and a rope/handcuffs could take down Light with how I have her weaknesses. but then since people don't wanna think outside the box and just wanna stick to "smash it til it dies", which is what Light hard counters, I've gotta do your thinking for you, which is incredibly unfair to me.

I didn't complain because I was having fun either way. But you wanted to bring this all up again because you didn't wanna think outside the box with the fight with Light and had me tell you how to win the fight. Meanwhile before that I had given you many warnings that you can't fight Light traditionally and you ignored them.

Honestly I don't think you've ever played DnD or any related games ever, because if you did, you'd know exactly how to deal with Light without me needing to explain a thing. Or you could just watch Fullmetal Alchemist, Brotherhood, and see how Edward deals with Gluttony in the trainyard. I'm pretty sure I gave that as an example but you know, I was ignored again so whatever. And you'd enjoy FMA:Brotherhood. Its easily one of the best Japanese animated stories out there, and Funimation spared no expense when it came to dubbing it so the dub is pretty much better than the sub unless you like the sub voices.

If you don't mine a faye retcon I can try to make her powers work like that no problem.

Batman is just hit and run > non lethal takedown. Pretty sure you could do that IRL if you knew how to throw a boa.
Right so your complaint is that she had no weaknesses and could kill anyone in one shot.

Here's the problem with your reasoning: A lot of powers that inflict a direct attack will kill you. May it be lava, acid (very similar to Camille's powers), super fire attacks like Eli uses, and so on. Pretty sure a knife can one shot someone if stabbed on the body or head.

You claim Camille had no weaknesses:

1) Low stamina, she couldn't use some of her powers for very long. Only reason she lasted with Light was because Cedric failed very hard.
2) Glass cannon, a simple punch to the face decommissions her. Shooting her with anything kills her.
3) Let's face it, if you didn't purposely dick around you'd have beaten her easily. Not even a weakness, just a huge difference in power.
4) Oh yah and she wasn't smart at all. She had pretty low intelligence, but good creativity.

Don't pin this on me. Camille was totally fine with all the GM's. And never one complaint.


Mate, Light punched you in the face quite often at the start of the fight and your response was "Light was afflicted by Camile's time rot ability and turned to dust before her punch impacted Camille." So glass cannon doesn't work as a weakness. She also tried long range combat, which you countered with "blood wave" over and over which makes ranged or stamina not weaknesses either. And Light is sorta supposed to mess around while fighting, thats her personallity. Meanwhile I had to feed you exact instructions on how to beat her OOC because everyone was complaining when I said at the start when making her that Batman tactics are her direct counter.
@Archmage MC How is Nancy gonna kill anyone? She's an inept klutz that can make zombies. Remember, we're throwing out anything that happened in third arc.

If you want I can go back and find where more than one person had this concern. I have it as well. Just explain why she needs to have near infinite power and immortality. Explain how the toon thing adds something to the character.


You don't like Deadpool? She does what he does but without the offensive power of his weapons. Toon is just a way to explain the powers in one set without using technology. If you have another idea on that let me know. I know I'd like to have her be more faye related, IE, weakness to iron and silver, but that needs more details in linking all the powers together.

Camille. They didn't complain as much because no one else complained about things, while you were so vocal with Light that you brought other people to your side even though she didn't win any of her fights at all. The other one was a player controlled baddie like in arc 2 so thats fine.
