@Flamelord Yes, though the major difference is that the Uber is invincible until all its buddies are dead. I didn't factor that in. Otherwise, it isn't that hard to kill either. Though yes, its power easily one shots most team members in that campaign.

Really, hes invincible til his buddies are dead? I just zerged him with 2 assault and blew him up (Double tap with ghost crit bonus is nasty.). I guess because I didn't allow the other ethereals to spawn?

Yeah. I'm not spending 30 bucks for Enemy Within to get Long War going. I'll wait til Xcom goes on sale near Xmas before I get it installed. I hear its really fun.

Light - Arcadia 2

Well apparently the large lizard lady didn't see Light, stepping on her and flattening her into a pancake, Light saying "Ouch" as she was squished. The lady, who Light would learn is named Gojira-San, showed a bit of concern at stepping on her, Light turning into somewhat of an accordion as Gojira lifted her foot off of her.

Motioning with her left hand for a moment, Light popped herself back to normal by blowing into her right thumb. Dusting herself off, she said with a bright grin. "I'm Light. And you need to be careful! Imagine if I wasn't so durable, that would've been one expensive hospital visit." She then noticed that there was some large cat that had appeared nearby, the person she recognized as Ryu going over to check on them. Light wasn't into cats, she didn't know why, but they just weren't her thing.

"Whats your name giant lizard lady hybrid? GLLH is a really bad name for me to use, please don't make me use it." Light said, not showing any signs of anger of being flattened just moments ago. She looked at the party that was behind Gojira, and thought she recognized another one of them, but she wasn't sure. Pointing at Ryu, she asked. "Is that guy named Ryu, or am I remembering things wrong? I swear I've seen him somewhere before."

There's a difference between XCOM battle mechanics and this version of the leading Ethereal. This one defeated Apocalypse, albeit in his weakest form. Still, given its movepool, it does show that it fits among the stronger tier.

Also it mixes a lot of things. Dark gritty will likely happen when Outliners and Conquerors really piss each other off.

I was making a joke :P. But yeah sure, fight would prob be a stalemate or something. Or if they have a silver tongue, its an easy win.

Well I'm sure Chibi Apocalypse just threw gritty out the window mate xD.

Do remember, there are some incredibly dangerous characters in this roleplay. Apocalypse being one of them. So don't expect to walk into combat and auto-win. Even if she does fight seriously, characters like the Uber-Ethereal might simply outmatch her.

Eh, Uber-Ethereal loses to 1 or 2 assault with ghost suits and alloy shotties, even on the highest difficulty setting. xD. (Or 3 assaults with normal shotties xD.)

But this is a fun loving RP more than a super dark gritty one, so there isn't that many problems. I mean, chibi apocalypse, c'mon. xD Pretty sure she would have a hard time fighting that. xD
