It's happening again. I have been visited by a soviet mad scientist, a king, a penguin prince of darkness, a house plant god thing, a mystical ancient member, a tired reaper (thank god) + a greeting.

Welcome back :)
Aezophyl at seeing the sword:

.avi
Aezophyl realized that he was beginning to be outnumbered and lacked the resources to complete his action. One of his opponents had used a spell to somehow slow him down; it did have an effect on him, and he moved sluggishly, exposing him to a direct hit from the daggar to the center of his wrist. It did manage to pierce, revealing what would look like oozing bits of lava coming out. His body did not work as a human's did. He would still be able to use the arm, but not for long if his essence continued to leak. His fire flickered on the wrist. How do these bastards have so much antimagic!

That became the least of his problems when the hunter slid under him, dodging Aezophyl's attempt to stomp him on the head and sending his foot halfway though the floor. The sword went through the side of his chest, causing him the first true pain he had felt yet. With a roar, he came down to his remaining knee, essence oozing almost like a fountain from the hole in his back and burning through the floor. The anti-fire powder splattered on the back of his head, making Aezophyl quite lightheaded from the dousing of visible flame, although the flicker of dark flame remained and burned the powder.

This is it, then. Out of the corner of his eye, yet another hunter came in, wielding... What is that swo- shit!

Raising his own blade, Aezophyl plunged it into his chest. Fire and small bits of lava oozed from it and every spot in his armor. As it began to come through his mouth, he said his final words to the group: "...I'll see you puny fools in the Abyss, then... the war has only begun..."

He feel forwards and collapsed on the floor, melting through it and crashing in the wine bottles below him. Visible to the group was a large hole, in which was a wine rack with every bottle broken over the now pitch black armor of Aezophyl.

Not the damn eye! Artholath threw himself backwards, greeting the ground with a nice smack and preparing to shoot his still-intact spikes at the impudent dwarf. An arrow bounced off the dwarf's shield. Looking back as he thrust his legs forward to knock the dwarf back should he be approaching, he saw a guard staring at him wide eyed.

He shot six of his spikes at him, all impaling the guard in the chest. Ignoring him, he backflipped up again and gave the dwarf his best attempt at a smile.

Zargon looked as Zargon was overwhelmed by hunters. He made a note to employ more anti-hunters in his army, although that would indeed be difficult. He had two, but that wouldn't be enough.

Aezophyl did something very unlikely and stabbed himself in the chest. Why would he do that? Manouvering the scrying position, he saw in the doorway a man and...

"How the hell did he get that?" Zargon yelled in his demonic voice, echoing across his chamber that nobody else could hear.

I've been looking for that since the Mage Wars, and a random hunter has it?

Shifting dimensions, he appeared in front of a very surprised Ghresus.

"I got him, I got him! It took a while but-"

"Shut up, you fool. Go to the warlord and do whatever you need to bring him in."

"I thought you hated that guy?"

"Things have changed. We're advancing plans and will attack this year."

As Zargon vanished, Ghresus could only stand and stare in shock. "This year?..."

Sorry... can't quite carry over. A coming period of time off and a loss of interest has left this poster a barron husk for the roleplay.
Finding it hard to keep up with what's happening right now

Bonemen dead. Aezophyl ganged up on. Artholath fight for his life.
also about image sizes, resize to 50 pecent or whatever in MS PAINT, then upload to IMGUR, then click on the image once it is finished then re-link that one instead. insta gg

I'm lazy and slap big ones in hiders.

Side note, sorry I didn't get to Durin yet, I will... at some point.
Aezophyl was in the heat of the moment; that was the only reason why the Kansa was not as painful as it should have been. Nonetheless, he did feel himself weakened. More damn enchantments?!

As he prepared for his main strike, the last he would in fact be capable of for a while, a spear came through with such force that it had went through the window and plunked into the wall. As he swiped and stood back, he noticed that one of his skeletons had come crashing in. This was helping him slightly; by using less of his energy preserving skeletons, he would gain more energy to use for his next spell. He decided not to disband the rest, opting for chaos. Water came through and evaporated as it came to his leg.

When yet another figure came through the door and asked if he was the one these fellows were fighting, he stated rather calmly, almost too calmly "Indeed I am."

On that note, he crouched and swiped his sword at the knees of everyone in his vicinity, attempting to force them back, while throwing a red ball at the ceiling. The red ball exploded, sending small pieces of flame everywhere that would have to be blocked lest someone risk being blinded. He would have a special attack next...
I am obliged to do so by my honor. :P

IcePezz gave a solid rundown earler of the events. Here's the stuff almost to date with a few edits.

<Snipped quote by ArenaSnow>

Team evil is being played by @ArenaSnow and @Elitestpotato <- Unsure of that myself, haven't heard much on that front.

Currently @notdeadyet will be making one more post then stepping out of the rp (hopefully not forever), @GreenHood and @FinnIsh are, let us just say mia? I haven't heard from either of them, so for now the story will continue without them. If they decide to come back, sure. If not, we tried.

I completely understand that people are busy. I'm a beach/pool bum myself and would rather spend my time outside then glued to my computer or phone. I do work, and while work has it's slow times where I can be around, I may not always be able to post. My hobbies include writing, hence why i'm here :) We are a fairly active crew and the story is coming along quite smoothly so far, so if you can't post for whatever reason, don't hesitate to send me a pm. I do try to be fair and patient.

Maria owned a shop in town, not far from the Ugly Mug, called 'Maria's Medicines and Sundries'. When we started our story, Maria had a few patients/customers earlier in the day and then Edict stormed in with Xusin, Tirarrian, and Cassius. Xusin had a wounded hand, badly wounded or not, Edict demanded that Maria fix it. Cassius was badly wounded though stepped to the side and waited his turn, despite his injury being ignored most of the time he was there. With all the commotion and the rudeness directed at her and her shop, Maria snapped. Without any regard for her clients or herself for that matter, she whipped out her spell book and healed Xusin's hand. Edict, having an extreme distrust/dislike for magic, drew his sword to her throat and the situation only escalated from there.

Joseph and Piper were on their way to the docks with their new found friend Jason, who thinks Joseph is a legendary hero named Sir Joffridus, however, after realizing that they've been followed by Isabeau, they've hid in an alley way just near Maria's shop. Isabeau confronted the trio in the alley and things only got stranger from there.

Just as they all started to settle down inside the medical shop, Xusin felt/saw a presence of someone - Aezophyl a demon who was sent here by Zargon. She stormed out of the shop in a fury to confront her fear. In an effort to 'burn off some steam' Aezophyl ... made someone go on fire. In a panic and fright, the burning man ran right into the wall of the healers shop. But he wasn't dead.

Rising back up, the charred, still burning skeleton rose back up and started stumbling, causing everyone on the street to flee and in a matter of minutes, bells of alarm to sound. It clumsily scratched at the shop's door even as it set the said door on fire. Between this and the fleeing Xusin, everyone rushed out of the building. Edict rushed the burning skeleton with his sword then caught up with Xusin. Maria had had it. She was accosted by someone who demanded her services, then left without paying, her door was burned down, there was a strange incident of a burning skeleton outside her shop. She ran out of the shop yelling and chasing them, demanding payment. Aezophyl had made his way into the Ugly Mug, and within minutes, more trouble had brewed, sparking the tavern into flames. As he walked out, Xusin, Edict, Cassius and Tirarrian where there to face him. Following Aezophyl out were tons and tons and tons of burning skeletons, minions set forth to cause more destruction and chaos to the town. Cassius attacked first as he lunged at Aezophyl with a few moves that were unfortunately deflected. Though it did give Edict enough time to launch his attack. Tirarrian had settled somewhere and set up her crossbow with a pouch that Edict had given her. Unfortunately she had become overrun by skeletons, but her shot did go off and was extremely successful as it hit the tavern and had taken out the fire that was burning inside.

Piper, Joseph, Jason and Isabeau left the alley way just in time to see the battle unfold. Isabeau went to save Tirarrian from the flaming skeletons, as did Tobias, who had also just arrived on the scene. Katia, Tobias's adopted daughter was busy chopping up skeletons along with the guards. Both Tobias and Isabeau had told Tirarrian that it wasn't safe for her to set up where she was (in so many words :p) so as we enter the story currently, Joseph had dragged Jason and Piper away from the fighting, Tirarrian went to join them. Isabeau went to help Edict and Cassius and whoeverelse is with them, who are currently engaging Aezophyl.

I am extremely tired from a night of fireworks and entertaining two todlers :p so I hope I got everything right. When posting, please remember to [@mention] all players that you look to interact with in the scene. @The Fated Fallen, I think you missed this in your last two posts. Anyone who has any questions, complaints, comments, please message me. @GreenHood @FinnIsh, if you could please message me and let me know whats going on, that would be great.

Now Isabeau, Edict and Jade Orthell are mid-combat with Aezophyl the Pyromancer (need I describe his specialty?) after he charged out into them. I am currently waiting to see what happens to Edict. The battle in realtime would be going pretty fast, if someone else came in or someone used a weapon specialized against demons stabbed him right in the head it would be faster. Since Cassius is an NPC I'll see how he can contribute as well.

Artholath, a demon from another realm and yet much the same, specializing in ice, has been deployed by the "boss" Zargon to kill the Mayor. This plan is taking a rather foul turn; he must contend with an arrow that's about to distract him, take a risky fall to save himself from a spear to the face in a surprise attack from Durin, and possibly someone else coming into the action (you?).

The city at large is slowly calming down. Fires are still spread about but are being handled, and now more quickly considering the numbers of the skeletons has rapidly declined. There's still stragglers to take out.

Looming in the not-too-distant darkness is a horde of demons, from grunts to those at Aezopyl's skill and better, being compiled by Zargon, who ever seeks to deal with other powerful demons to achieve his secret quest... which other players may need to take up themselves if they are to stop him. Of course, they will someday need to contend with his horde, specifically designed to eliminate his opponents, and in some cases with "specialty" demons. Also looming is the mage Jeltheor, who is alligned with Zargon, yet does not quite know how far Zargon has expanded without him. Nonetheless, he is dangerous, has minions of his own and is a priority target.
You could always help pick off straggling skullies, meet up with the newly-shifted ice themed demon, or walk in and save the damsels that are about to get Aezophyl's fire explosion and still rising temperatures.

(^Kidding @applicable folks)

That said, I would wait until IcePezz gives the Ok first.
In a week and a few days 9 i think. Also i meant cursing in ooc.

OOC... eh, question hasn't come up, it's up to IcePezz for that one.

I think our timescales are close enough that you won't notice I left at all :P
