Gehrman was now sure that some of the more ferocious Dolls he encountered were actually Puppeteers in control of a host Marionette. He wondered for a moment why he didn't notice this earlier, but then realized that with all the mystery surrounding these monsters, something like that would easily go unnoticed. However, there was something Gehrman wanted to talk about. He spoke up.

"You mentioned someone by the name of Viper. Was the body I found outside his, and if so, how did it get there?"
Let me know if you guys want the Finnish part translated.
Henri woke up with a startle, and took a quick look through the window. After he saw that they stopped, he realized he must have slept through the trip. It's been over a week since he arrived in the country, so he didn't have jet lag anymore, but he simply wasn't used to waking up as early as they did this morning. Henri was glad that he could join Jim in his trip; while it was nice staying at his relatives, he had to admit it was getting monotonous staying there, and preferred company closer to his own age. The reason he came to America was to take a break from his studies and make new memories. He just hoped he didn't embarrass Jim during their stay there, as there were still some things about American culture he didn't have a full grasp on yet.

"Sure," Henri answered as he hopped out of the car and grabbed his baggage. He wondered if he joked about the two of them being hillbillies, but didn't ask any further, assuming it was an American joke. Jim's changed a lot over the years, but he's still cracking jokes like in the good old days, which made Henri smile when he thought about it. He went to grab his baggage, and patted Rocketman a bit. He was allergic to animals when he was younger, but fortunately he grew out of it. He then thanked Jim's mother for driving them there: "Kiitos kun kyytsäsit meidät tänne. Olisin itse ajanut, mutta en ole tottunut ajamaan näillä amerikkalaisilla autoilla, automaattisia kun ovat. Väsyttikin aika pahasti myös."

Once he saw aunt Brody off, Henri turned around and noticed they weren't the only ones who arrived. He assumed the other two were also going for the cabin, since Dominic did say that his friend Victoria had a bunch of folks invited. There wasn't anything noteworthy about the guy except that he dressed better than the rest of e'm, but the girl was more interesting; Henri had a suspicion she was a foreigner like him. He was puzzled by the fact that Jim suddenly started talking to them like that. Maybe it was an American custom to greet strangers on the street, he thought. He simply stood beside him, not sure if he should have greeted them like he did or not.

Name: Damien Williams
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Sexual orientation: Straight
Role: Detective
Appearance: Damien has light-brown hair that he keeps short, green eyes, and is pretty average in build and height. He tends to wear a brown jacket and pants with a white undershirt while on the case.
Skills/Specializations: Has an eye for detail, able to pick out clues that others may miss. In addition, he can recognize common chemicals and substances by smell and taste.

Biography: Damien has been on the job for a while, and has thus seen cases he'd rather not talk about. He's a chain smoker, having started since his military service, and while he constantly thinks about quitting he never does. He's recently been shifted to New Bath under new leadership, which does mind him a bit in that he doesn't get to see his family as often, but knows that it's part of the job.
Gehrman took his seat as far from the others as he could, still uneasy about his defeat. After Deville started complaining about the dress she wore, he realized that the woman he met at the door was actually her all along. He constantly shifted his gaze over the Doll, anxious that he had let himself in the mercy of such a dangerous entity. One thing came clear to him, though: Deville was clearly not under any kind of control by the Doll. Nonetheless, Gehrman's attention immediately focused on Deville's explanation on the Puppeteers and Marionettes.

After a while of listening, he started to suspect that some of the Dolls he's hunted may have actually not been Dolls, if the description was accurate. Having nothing to contribute to the conversation for now, Gehrman stayed silent as the other hunter asked his question.

Canda will suck, It will mean that you have one guy killing and "Oh well its him" Have it in cambridge or reigate

Wait, are you saying that if the RP was set in Canada, there will only be a single culprit behind the homicide cases?
Or gratuitous use of "eh?"
I'm interested in this. I have a couple of ideas but they require a bit more fine-tuning.
Nuul
"You have good instincts, Hunter, but you are terribly blind." She said with a sigh. She didn't bother turning around, she was ready to move quickly if need be. "Do none of the tomes of the church herald out arrival? Dolls only persist while Puppeteers still exist in this world."
@Ariamis@Psyga315@Adorabadass

The Doll knows of the church, as is expected of the Keeper of Secrets. But what is this about Puppeteers? I've heard of that somewhere, but where?

Gehrman noticed how the Doll seemed to obey the will of the man, which was confirmation that he was indeed Mister Deville. The situation had developed in a direction he did not see coming: he was losing, yet he was still alive.

Strange events surround mortal existence blessed by eyes, as was foretold in the book of Kosm.

"Wait, I'm confused here. Aren't you lot supposed to be puppets or marionettes?" As a sign to Eren that he's willing to cooperate, he put his weapon away, even taking out the nails in its chamber and putting it in his pocket for good measure as he began to step away from the house. He held his hands up to Nuul. "Forgive me, I'm new to the hunting business."

Figures, Gehrman thought to himself. There were many hints in his behavior pointing to the case, but he wasn't interested in dwelling on it. More importantly, the greenhorn surrendered, which tipped the already tilted favors against him even further.

Eren Deville
"And follow suit with the gentlemanly hunter one. Drop the weapon. Then, I will drop mine. Know that, even unarmed, I could end your life, as could my doll. Nuul is likely one of the most powerful dolls alive right now."

Eren then paused.

"Actually, if you'll come inside with me, I'll make us some tea and we can discuss this like civilized beings."

She then addressed her doll.

"Nuul, can we classify the dead thug as a 'sacrifice' or will I have to bury the criminal scum? I really don't want to have to move. I'm just glad this part of town has gunfire all the time, or else tonight would be quite suspicious."

"But-" Gehrman spouted out from his gritted teeth, before he sighed. This was checkmate for him, and he knew when to fold his cards. He was given a chance to live, and that is what he was going to choose. Not because he wanted to survive, since he was willing to die for his cause, but because he wanted to learn more about what he's been talking about. Gehrman thus dropped his nailgun on the ground, and lifted himself slowly up from the dirt.

"You won this battle, Dollmaster."
