Alex successfully saved Lily’s life, his healing magic having drawn her back from the doors of death. Her eyes slowly opened, and gazed into Alex’s own eyes. But, while her physical injuries were restored, he couldn’t mend the broken pieces of her heart.
”I...Ix...Is...”
She sobbed, tears on her cheeks as well, and clung to Alex in a dependent manner. She felt a caress on her head, and was reminded of her mother; she comforted her whenever she was sad. And so did Ixion...

Thanks to Umukamui’s guidance, Alex and the Yamamotos found themselves to Aria’s shop where the way home was located. Though Lily was still stricken with grief, she had the courtesy to smile at her.
”We’re uh...Sorry for intruding again...” She spoke, her energy and enthusiasm gone and replaced by gloominess.
”I can pay with Magical Coins...If that is possible...” She spoke, and summoned a couple of Bronze coins on her hand, offering them to Aria.

Hyun slowly regained consciousness as she recovered from the purification performed on her.
However, she was still heavily wounded from the battle before, and cloudy only sluggishly blink at her surroundings, seen in a lopsided angle due to being carried by Leena. However, she then felt how her ShineSpark warmed her insides, guarding her from what seemed to be someone attempting to communicate with her. Wondering if it was the one who rescued her from her cursed existence, she allowed the message through.
It turned out to not be her savior, but instead a Patron...And a frighteningly cheerful one at that.
She did not understand much of what the entity talked about, but she did appreciate the warm message she sent afterwards. Thank you, she would think back, and drifted back to slumber.

Shane using clever application of his electromagnetic powers, successfully extinguished the flames that had engulfed the Flying Dutchman. However, such a potent spell took its toll on the already exhausted magical boy, leaving him with a fifth of his total magical reserves.

Sil sneaked closer and closer to Rachel after the latter had turned away, her blade drawn and enchanted to claim yet another trophy to mount on her figurative mantle. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to end the source of much conflict.
However, that was when her fellow Cradle agent made a grievous mistake, and drew the Inquisitor’s attention alongside the peppy Horror Patron.
“Why you-” the glasses-wearing crusader spat out as she turned back, only to grit her teeth as she saw the blade in the dark, her eyes wild with fervent wrath.
“HERETIC!”

With her magically heightened agility that far surpassed Silhouette’s, Rachel managed to dodge and avoid becoming fully decapitated by Sil’s attack; instead, it cut an artery, causing her to visibly bleed. She summoned her hammer and immediately wwent for a counterattack, swinging so fast that Sil only managed to prepare a block by her Awareness kicking in. Sil was sent flying by the tremendous power of the impact, smashing not only through the wall of the local warehouse, but also another warehouse next door. As a result, Sil’s swordarm was broken, with splintered bones and a dislocated shoulder, as well as a couple of fractured ribs.
Rachel was prepared to pursue, her hammer slung over her shoulder as she noted how her barriers were shattered by her attack; this only made her angrier..
“Heretic Mint witch!I will see you repent as you draw your last breath-!”

“Inquisitor!” Leena came running in, one sword drawn as she carried Hyun Long on her shoulder. “The true mastermind behind the slaughter has appeared, and Alicia has now begun engaging her!” Rachel nodded, and resumed gripping her weapon with two hands. “Very well. It seems the rat had caught a lucky break...” Soon enough, Rachel could be seen returning from the rave; her wound had disappeared, leaving only a bloodstain that ran from the side of her neck, her body once again clad in shining golden armor. “Paladin Seraph! Let us avenge our sisters, and bring penance to this devil!” She shouted.

Helga’s initial worries were quickly assuaged by Su’s acceptance, and she smiled sweetly back to her. “No way, Su. You’re much smarter than me, and strong too. But thanks for the sentiment. I’m glad I can open up about this kind of stuff with you.”
Soon enough, the two of them spotted Askefye, and Helga agreed to Su’s suggestion. “Yeah, she’s a classic tsundere; we just gotta make a crack in her coals, heh.”
Helga blushed as Su brought her close to her bosoms, and giggled a bit from the intimate contact. “Geez, Su...” She mumbled. Once Su delivered the two of them closer to the smoking girl, Helga cast a voice amplification spell on herself and Su. Then, as if her voice came from a megaphone, she reached out to her:
“Yo, Askefye, was it? Can you slow down a bit? We want to chat with you a bit if that’s alright with you.”

Elora was left a bloodied, mangled mess by the end of the assault by the spirit dogs, bleeding profusely on the green grass that now bloomed after the Pillar Druid’s destruction. “Ugh...I’m not suited for field work...” She mumbled, breathing heavily as she called her cyberbox down and attempted climbing up on it, only to slide down due to her hands being slick with blood.
Tsuki came running in, holding on to her wizard hat. “Elora! Are you alright?”
She asked, to which Elora only nodded briefly. “We need to evacuate and reassess the current state of events.” Tsuki nodded, and soon the two of them also teleported back to HQ.
Magical Coins take a bit longer to access when channelled from a phylactery (about 10 seconds if in the vicinity, more with distance), but the connection is there. Reforging and Purification happens onsite; if they lose the phylactery it disappears.

Lily was heavily injured, having broken enough bones to end an athlete’s career. But that pain only drove her forwards in hot white anger, her hair having risen up from the static electricity she now emitted.
”No we’re not! Your friend’s still alive!”
She screamed back as her ascent slowed, but it seemed the rocker girl wouldn’t listen. As she stopped at the apex of her magnetic jump, she was about to pull an arrow when her eyes flared open at the sight of her beginning her final song, as spirits gathered in a storm and the music grew louder and louder.
”Wait, don’t do it!”
As angry as she was by them causing havoc and tormenting a poor young girl, what made her livid was the fact she would end it all in an instant. She couldn’t let it happen; she needed to answer for the wrongdoings she had done. But what could she do? In just a couple of seconds, Zophia would blast her with a shredding wave of music in a pointless, bitter self-sacrifice.

”No...If only I have more...Time...”
Then, it hit her. She drew an arrow with a wicked, sharp clock-hand as a tip. It was risky, but in her heart she knew she had to try; it was the only way she could save her life.

It was her chance to overturn fate itself.

”FINAL FLASH!” She yelled, and with a single thrust, drove the arrow into her chest. At that moment, as her body incurred the mortal wound, time stood to a still, freezing all into place; Zophia’s song turned silent, Alex and his duplicates were left mid-punch and move, and even Amy and the rest of the minions and fairies did not move a muscle.
However, Lily knew this tranquility would be the most fleeting of moments, and immediately transformed her bow into a staff, and shot a bolt of lightning at Zophia.

Alright, I managed to-NO!

But at that moment, Lily’s hopes were dashed, as the moment the bolt of electricity left her staff, it was also frozen in time.

No, I need...Just a bit more-!

She grit her teeth, blood dripping from the corner of her lip, as she pushed her mana as far as she could by propelling herself magnetically forward. Every second, she could hear her heartbeat pounding against her chest, the only sound she could hear in the stillness outside time.

She had reached the stage...But that was the moment her her mana was about to end. She was doomed to fail from the very start, having expended far too much from her earlier fighting, but even so, she continued running up to Zophia, dragging her broken leg behind her; maybe it was her anger towards the dark magical girl’s selfishness, or maybe it was her foolish belief that she could save her, but she continued moving her body, right up to her.

She needed to see Zophia eye-to-bloody-eye as she received her punishment for failing to save her.

But just as she released her spell, it did not end as she expected it to; instead Lily found herself unable to move, and realized she too was caught in the stopped time.

”H-Huh? But why...”

She felt a familiar warmth in her, and realized that Ixion had possessed her body, and perpetuated the spell in her absence. She felt the Lesser Force’s crackling being envelop her soul in his embrace.

”Lily...” She heard Ixion speak to her in her soul, and in her mind’s eye saw herself sitting in a field of roiling clouds, leaning against the sitting Lesser Force’s sitting equine form. She looked back, and felt him nuzzle her cheek.

”You are the Bringer of Balance, Lily...”
The moment he said that, a window into Lily’s real eyes were opened, and Lily saw a slowed vision of the moment Zophia would release her soul storm. Ixion then stood up, and slowly walked away on the clouds. Lily was distraught.

”Wait, you don’t mean to...”

”I must go now, Lily. You...Have taught me much about humanity. How in the face of adversity, you keep believing in correcting the balance. You have protected this world...Now, I shall protect yours.”
Lily stood up, tears in her eyes.

”Please, Ix...Don’t go.”
The Lesser Force turned his head back; his eyes twinkled, emanating bittersweet joy.
”Continue to bring balance to the world, Lily. Fight for justice.”
And then, the Lesser Force began glowing brighter and brighter, starting from the tip of his jagged horn, and running through the rest of his body with the force of a lightning storm, until her vision was overcome in a flood of yellow light.

”Farewell.”

When time resumed once more, Alex saw Lily suddenly right in front of Zophia and struck by the dark magical girl’s ultimate attack, causing her to fall down on the spot, like a marionette with its strings cut off; her right leg was bent at an awkward angle due to her broken knee as she transformed back into human. Zophia then also fell, having drawn her last breath.

Not soon after, Amy claimed her own life in grief. The pool of blood had reached Lily’s position as it flowed from her corpse.

In the end, Lily’s gamble to save the two had failed...And she had paid the price.

“I don’t need to explain my reasoning to you,” Sharron replied coldly, and proceeded to listen to the rest of Ashlyn’s answer. When she was done, the Ascendancy operative was contemplating what hse heard. “I see. So that is your answer.” She stood up, though it was a bit troubled as she wobbled, her feet unsteady. “I have now heard enough.” Then, she began limping to the exit door. But just before she left, she turned back one last time to look at her. “When we next meet, I hope it won’t be in the field of battle.” And with that, she opened the door, and left the Interdimensional Home.

Hudie withdrew her fan from Raven’s neck before she finished her first sentence.
“The twins?” She could be heard muttering, but she waited quietly until Raven finished before she spoke again. “Very well. I will deliver the Cardinal back to HQ. You go back and assist our forces back at the Park.” She then took Ishtar’s body, carrying it in her arms as she proceeded to swiftly run.

Helga rolled her eyes at Su’s biting remark. “Navi? Am I some car device for you?” It seemed she didn’t get the reference, but the message still came across. “Fine fine, I’ll stop nagging. Let’s just go!” Using Su’s wind magic, the two easily outran the grumpy troll that came barreling at them from under the bridge, swinging a wooden stool on his other hand after throwing the milk pail.

After they made their escape, Helga sighed. “It blew up into a goddamn gang war, complete with some crazy spells thrown around. You heard the announcement after all the lantern heads got wrecked, right? Who’d have expected the PI to pull that off, huh?”
She then listened to Su speak, only to blink as she brought up Justine. She bit her lip, looking awkward as she averted her eyes. “That was...Well, as you might remember me mention, I, uhh...was alone for a long time. Every day I feared that Beacon would catch me. I was so desperate, I was willing to believe in the first helping hand that came my way. And well...It just so happened to be Justine.” She then turned her eyes back to Su with a concerned look. “But you gotta understand! Justine told me she wanted to end the suffering I, her, and everyone else were in! She was the kindest person I knew at the time...I believed in those words.” Her voice turned morose. “Not only did she provide a hideout safe from Beacon, she also gave me meaning; until then, all I did was try to survive. But working for her, I felt like I could help others like me who were still fearing for their lives. That’s what I meant.” Her voice turned bitter. “But it was only when I failed her that Justine showed her true colors, and abandoned me, not to mention her perfect world...I was so stupid for ever believing in her.”

Leena, while momentarily faltered by the blast of fire that erupted from Hyun Long, managed to recover on top of a rooftop, and saw as the ghost ship carried the monster queen farther away. “Damn, this is getting crazier by the second. Who brought a freaking ghost ship here?” She muttered. “Focus, Leena!” Rachel would yell at her as she passed by her. “Follow me!” She left her platforms lingering just long enough for Leena to hop up using them, allowing her to rejoin the fight.

The Ghost ship, though unnaturally damp on its keel, with plenty of barnacles clinging, soon began to dry up from Hyun Long’s flames, and then caught fire. But just as Hyun Long had gripped a board and was about to pull it off, she was startled by Mariette’s sudden appearance. Like a squid hiding under a rock, the monster queen scuttled to the other side of the ship to avoid her initial blast of light, only to get struck by more beams that appeared below her, scorching her corruption-imbued flesh and destroying her tentacles in droves.

Hyun Long screeched, about to counterattack. At that moment, Alicia began her attack, shooting up at both Long and Mariette with arrows of exploding light. When another tentacle opened it’s maw, about to blast fire at the dark magical girl, Trixy shot at her with her seed shot. Before Mariette could fully escape using her portals, the vines had caught Mariette’s arm long enough for the fire blast from Hyun Long’s tentacle to hit it with her flames and for Alicia to hit with an explosion from one of her arrows. As a result, Mariette managed to escape, but her arm was left with painful third-degree burns, destroying her sleeve in the process, and leaving it numb and crippled.

Even after she left, Hyun Long continued to be struck by Alicia’s explosive arrows proving to be effective against the clinging monster queen; one by one, she lost tentacles that kept her hanging on to the ship, until only a couple were left. Hyun Long looked desperate as she swung her hands up at the partially loosened, burning floorboard, still clinging to her hunger even as the cold death of falling from such a height loomed below her.
But then, Amaryllis arrived, and the monster queen’s eyes flashed with fright as the Knight of Rose approached her. She growled, ready to attack, when the just magical girl gave her one last chance at redemption, presenting the White Coin. She looked at it, seemingly confused.
Then Amaryllis saw, for the first time, how Hyun Long’s eyes seemed to gain new life.
“Q-Quell...This...” She slowly uttered. “...Hunger...”

At that moment, one of her few remaining dragonhead tentacles stopped latching onto the ship, and lunged at Amaryllis’ hand holding the White Coin; with a great crunch, the jaws clamped down over the hand, and bit it off, eating it and the White Coin in the same bite.
The monster queen’s expression then turned slack, as white light now poured from her eyes.
Her final tentacle loosened its grip on the ship, and she closed her eyes; like a falling star, she was bathed in white light as she rapidly plummeted, loosened from Amaryllis’ chains by the transformation into a regular-looking girl.

But before she hit the ground, she was caught in Leena’s arms, landing on a more flexible barrier Rachel cast that absorbed the impact. The Inquisitor glanced up at Amaryllis, her gaze still cold. Yet, the Knight of Rose could feel that it wasn’t malice or disapproval that colored those eyes, but respect.
“A bold move, Knight of Rose, but a stupid one. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the assistance you gave to me today.” With that said, she turned away. “There’s a situation still at the Park, correct?” She asked the gas mask wearing girl, to which the latter nodded. “Yes, Inquisitor. A horror has manifested three Avatars, of which one has been destroyed.”
The Inquisitor landed down into the rave. “Go there and assist the operatives on the field. I need to personally oversee the cleanup here. Paladin Seraph!” She raised her voice to reach Alicia. “Deal with the corrupted who participated in the monster queen’s neutralization.” Having said that, she began collect the various Ascendancy corpses, teleporting them back to HQ.

Nightwing's dark skin ran with black veins as she pushed her Dark magic to it’s limits, injecting curses into Grisbar in a flow of foul vapor. Yet, it turned out to not be enough against the dragon; she was thrown off, and turned back to human, a punkish-looking girl with a pale complexion. However, as her vision dimmed, she saw what looked like a tiny doll perform a glistening slash.
“There...It’s....dead...” And so, her eyes closed.

Elora, even when she was knocked off of her cyber box and surrounded by the animal spirits, did not seem to falter. While it seemed like she was a hostage without her weapons, she continued typing away on a holographic keyboard that was emitted out from a tiny device embedded in her clothes, continuing to direct the cyberbox far above to shoot at the spirits and collect data on the Horror Avatar. “The wolf monster is located behind a cloaking veil. Extend your attacks beyond the first target,” she broadcasted using a microphone that extended from her collar, and transmitted through a loudspeaker installed on the cyberbox. The cyberbox also cast a spotlight, aiming it at the wolf Pillar Druid’s true location.

As Grosket was assaulted by Viva and Reaver, Tsuki came in with an incredibly powerful blast of pure magical force. “Magic Missile!” She screamed as she delivered the destructive spell;
like an entire legion of spears were shot out from a cannon, the blast shredded through the weakened ent’s trunk-like body in a scattering, causing it to collapse on itself.

”Ngh!”
Lily winced as she was struck by the drones, and quickly touched her arm, feeling the wound left by a laser; she was quickly reminded of how even the smallest threat shouldn’t be dismissed. In response, she shot out another volley mid-cartwheel, blasting the drones out of the sky.
”There! It’s lights out for you-”
She didn’t get a chance to continue her quip, as she heard somebody behind her. She turned to shoot at the dark girl, only to find herself suddenly lifted up into the air.
”WAAH!”
The stinging drones had distracted Lily for long enough to not notice that Tenebra had teleported behind her, and as a result the green-haired girl was thrown about, flailed about and slammed into the ground in quick succession. Lily transformed her weapon into a rod, and attempted shooting at the girl with a lightning bolt, but she was unable to aim properly due to being thrown about like a ragdoll. She knew she couldn’t use her time magic to escape either, as Gravity magic had a dilating effect. More slams to the ground followed, causing Lily to hit her jaw hard, bleeding from her lip.

Crap! I need to escape…!

Lily… She heard Ixion, her Patron, speaking to her telepathically.
”Escape. You can fight another time.”

Lily was reminded of her Get Out of Jail ability; she could escape from any situation to a safe place. But she grit her teeth, grunting as another slam now fractured her kneecap.

No! I won’t leave Alex behind! Isn’t there anything I can do?

In her mind’s eye, she saw Ixion; the proud form of thunderclouds in the form of a unicorn lowered his head.

Remember...You are the potential...Balance the negative...With positive...

Lily was thrown in an upwards direction. After just a couple of slams, she had incurred grievous injuries, showing her weak Vitality. She had to end this by the next slam. She lifted a hand up, and yellow, electrical energy sparked from it.

”I am the potential…” She groaned. Once again, she felt herself crashing down, the ground coming closer and closer…

She opened her eyes; they glowed yellow as she thrust her glowing hand out towards the incoming ground. The moment her palm reached the ground, she stopped, shaking mid-air as she was pulled by the gravitational storm, yet she wouldn’t budge. She had created a field charged with negative potential electromagnetic energy on the ground below; emanating positive charge herself, she created a magnetizing fundamental force that equalled the gravity pull.
She turned her eyes to Tenebra with a cocky smile, using her other arm to aim her staff at her.

”...I am the balancer! V-JOLT!”

She unleashed a Barrage of lightning bolts, catching Tenebra by surprise; she was zapped with paralyzing force, causing her to be outright knocked out, her hair standing up straight, limbs twitching in place and her body wracked with grievous harm; she was out of the fight.

As the duplicates closed in, Lily reversed the charge on the ground, launching her up in the air.
As she twirled like a figure skater, she transformed her weapon into a bow and proceeded to blast the clones away with perfect precision, while also planting slowed arrows into the air; she was now angry.
”You may be friends, but it is a friendship founded in cruelty and evil! I won’t forgive such toxicity!”

Goblina bit her lip, but nodded in acknowledgement of Penny’s request, allowing her to deal with the shy monstergirl, who in turn seemed to blush at the robot girl’s encouraging words. “Y-Yeah. I’ll do my best then. Oh, my name is Sibrex. Thank you for building this shelter, Penny!” She then waved goodbye, and ran over to the chamber where the wounded had been taken to.
“You know, Sibrex wasn’t like that when I met her for the first time,” Goblina happened to state. “She was a cruel kid who liked to play ‘clay’ with people. But, as she spent time here at the shelter, she began to gradually get better.” She blinked. “Sorry, got a bit sidetracked. What’s the situation?”

Goblina listened to Penny’s explanation, her expressions ranging from concern to shock. “Geez...This is bad. Cindy wouldn’t do something like that unless she thought she could end the whole conflict.” She nodded in agreement at her suggestion. “Most likely, I’ve seen firsthand how they ruin lives, they would have the balls to pull something like this off.”
The short monster girl turned, about to run, when Penny told her to stay. “But Cindy is...Fffff-udge. I’ll stay and keep the place running. But you better get in there and save her, Penny! We need her.”

“Tch.” Sharron turned away, holding her shoulders. “If I wasn’t wounded like this...Forget it. You monsters wouldn’t understand the pain I’ve gone through. Seeing my family rent apart and worn like...accessories...” Her voice quieted down. “Tell me...Have you ever killed someone?”

Helga smiled back to Su as they walked, though it momentarily turned into an awkward one. “Well, yeah. I was pretty worried back there, to be honest. I wondered what you were talking about with the other asian-styled girl, though. Oh well, it’s probably nothing I should worry about, hah.”
She brought a hand behind her head and giggled a bit, noting the pause Su made; she decided not to inquire further. “You betcha! Let’s go on a real tourist vacation there for like a week.”

Vivi raised an eyebrow as Su addressed her and FanFan. They looked at each other, and nodded. Fanfan spoke: The purification can be done in two different ways, and result in two results. The first is a ritual that takes some time, but results in removing all corruption from you; no dark weapons or Powers, but also no Mental Mutations either. You’ll be back to being a regular magical girl.” Vivi continued. “The second method is by use of a White Coin. Not only does it do what the ritual does, but in addition it also changes the source of your magic from your former Patron to Beacon, freeing you from them and allowing you to start anew. This has the benefit of-”

The two were interrupted when Askefye made a hissy fit and left. Even so, Vivi didn’t show much sympathy. “Hah! Good riddance.” However, she then twitched her eye as she heard a new voice coming from under the bridge. “Damn, the troll woke up. We’re not in much of a fighting condition; we’re performing a tactical retreat.” FanFan nodded, and the two began to run away. However, Vivi glanced back at Su one last time, as if pondering what else to say, before she turned back and disappeared into the Overcity’s wilderness. Hrlga turned to Su.
"You know where the portal is, right Su? We gotta go before the troll spots us!"

As Hyun Long disappeared up from the rave through the open hole in the ceiling with Amaryllis in her clutches, Trixy sowed seeds of support across the bloodied floor, granting her companions passage up into the sky in pursuit of the monster queen. While Rachel refused the offer with a disgusted scoff, Leena was not as picky after seeing Shane launched from a log. “Thanks,” she stated neutrally, and also hopped on a seed that grew into a log, her swords crossed before her like a pharaoh as she flew.

Up above, lit against the moon, Hyun Long’s dragon-headed tentacles coiled tighter around Amaryllis as they blasted down towards the pursuers with small breaths of fire; while dampened by the rain, they were still potent enough to inflict first-degree burns on Shane and Leena. The Knight of Rose, as she was brought right up to her waiting fangs, saw that the wound Sil had inflicted on her main body was closing at a slow rate; based on this, she deduced that given the opportunity to feed, Hyun Long could regenerate back to full health. As the fangs closed in, however, the monster queen glanced up in surprise and screeched; Sophia came to a daring rescue, performing a suicidal dive to save her friend. Hyun shot out a tentacle to intercept Sophia; it easily broke her barrier, biting into her side with a rending crunch, but wasn’t enough to stop her from detonating the gunpowder spell right in the monster's face. As a result, her tentacles loosened enough for Amaryllis to make her escape, swinging with a chain in a Spiderman-esque fashion with Sophia held in the other arm.

Hyun Long roared, and shot her tentacles down, only to be intercepted by Alicia and Shane. The former’s next shot widened the hole on the warehouse’s roof with her beams and reached first, hitting the mass of tentacles Hyun had moved under her, destroying most of them. Shane’s steel javelin then successfully passed through and pierced Hyun Long’s foot. The resulting shot of lightning used the embedded rod to channel electricity through her main body, once again shocking her entire being. Sil and Serenity added to her pain further, both using small bladed weapons; whether it's a single slice that severed the other foot, or dozens of knives that stuck to her body like a pincushion.

Hyun was now severely wounded, her tentacles no longer smooth and coordinated in their movements, but rather erratic and confused. The monster queen herself groaned loudly in pain, her body shaking from the electric shock.
“FOOD! FHOOOD!” At that moment, as the rain abated, she sniffed something, and looked up with bloodshot eyes towards the Flying Dutchman. Then, she began severing the chains around, but curiously enough she didn’t sever the anchor chain binding her to the ship; instead, she began rapidly climbing up it, using her tentacles like the arms of a gorilla to hoist herself up. When Hyun Long reached the keel, she wrapped her tentacles around the underbelly, letting a couple stretch up to the deck to snap at the crew; like a ship under attack by a kraken, so was the ghostly ship under attack by a being similar to the sea monster. Hyun Long then blasted fire on the keel with her hands in an attempt to breach it; it seems she had caught scent of the bodies collected in the ship’s storage, and was now going for a last-ditch attempt to eat more corpses.

Rachel had already reached outside the building, using barriers as jumping platforms, when she was met with Amaryllis dropping Sophia’s wounded body into her arms while demanding her to heal the dark magical girl.
“Heal her? This wretched buccaneer?” Using one hand, the Inquisitor grabbed Sophia by the neck and let her dangle letting her see how far she would fall down.
The Inquisitor considered dropping her right then and there. On any other day, it would have been a simple job of purging the filth. Her hands clasped tighter around Sophia, causing her to groan...

However…

She owed the girl, as sinful as she was, for rescuing the remaining bodies of her comrades. She also did assist in the fight against the monster queen using a ghost ship. Finally, she came to a decision.

“Purgatory.”
Rachel intoned, as she punched her fist right through Sophia’s stomach.

But instead of blood and guts, what came out was a shower of white light that enveloped her insides. When the Inquisitor pulled her fist back, there was a white hole that quickly closed up, restoring Sophia to full health. Even the excruciating pain of the violent act had soothed into nothingness as fast as it was inflicted.

She then dropped Sophia, letting her slide down a diagonal barrier safely down to the floor.
“You have one chance to save her,” she stated, and pulled out a White Coin; holding it between her thumb and index finger, she scoffed. Then, she threw the White Coin at Amaryllis.
“To save the monster before I cast her into the fires of Hell.” With that said, the Inquisitor turned her back to the girls, and began climbing up towards the ghost ship.

Hudie rushed towards Ishtar with her bladed fan as the time-frozen girl’s lower body disappeared into the shrubbery. But just before she was pulled completely in, Raven had appeared, grabbing her hand. Hudie was half-way to throwing her fan at her when she instead dashed forward, reaching out to touch Raven’s back the moment the teleportation was activated; as a result, not only did Raven teleport Ishtar, but also Hudie.
Upon arrival, Hudie brought the fan’s sharp edge threateningly to Raven’s throat. “Speak. What do you want with her?” She asked coldly, showing no hesitation to slit her throat given the slightest provocation.

Elora managed to stop her cyberbox from spinning once she landed behind the Dog Pillar Druid, only to notice the Pillar Druid launching its deadly beam. Using rapid typing on a hologram interface, she summoned a drone from the inside of her cyberbox; and sent it flying into the mouth of the monster, spinning rapidly in an effort to disrupt the firing of the attack. she had deduced that the attack was designed to attack souls, and was thus ineffective against soulless machines. At the same time, she activated the laser guns she brought out previously, blasting at the dragon while floating up, ready to perform basic evasive maneuvers in case of counter attack.
Tsuki herself created a wall of sturdy magical force, covering the area right in front of her in a round shape. “Get behind me!” She commanded, and braced for impact.

Nightwing gnashed her teeth as her Bladebat was blown away; while she could easily recall it, it did mean that she would have to get close and personal to better deal with Grisbar. Upon seeing the rain of spiders headed her way, she created an enervating field; while only potent enough to weaken magical girls, it was potent enough to outright kill spiders, draining them of their vitality. Then, Nightwing got an idea. Using the dark night to its full advantage, she slipped with shadow stepping , and then thrust a held Bladebat into the monster’s back.
“Eat some of this, bub!”
She then channelled a weakening curse on Grisbar, robbing the life out of any creations it wanted to summon or manifest.

At first, Lily was wary of rushing in, aware that the presence of civilians narrowed down her options for attacking the home invaders. Her electric bowstring was further drawn as the girls talked back to her, crackling sparks as she grit her teeth.
”This is a longbow!” She retorted, smiling defiantly.
”Maybe if you spent a single day educating yourself instead of picking on children, you would know that!”
These girls thought they could get to her through Alex, but she wouldn’t let them distract her; just as she predicted, the little girl and her mother had barriers cast over them.

Now she could get serious.

But then, the girls brought out strange artifacts, and Lily dove behind a doorway, expecting an attack. Darkness clouded her vision, and Lily electrified her body, not letting the girls get a drop on them.

But, having experienced it before, she could tell she was shifted to the Overcity. In fact, the entire household was taken there. Once she heard little Ai cry, she crouched down next to her, a willful look in her eye.
”Take your mom and hide under a table. I’ll go deal with the bad girls.”
She stepped out of the house, and saw a stage close to the house, surrounded by spirits and the fey; it was as if a concert was held right across the street. She squinted.
”Oh no. Don’t tell me-”

The explosion of music that erupted from the girls answered her question quicker than any words could have. It was a grand spectacle, but even so, Lily’s desire for justice would not be abated.
”I got you covered, Alex!” She informed her partner, and took a stance as monsters were summoned.
When the groupies came forward in a mix of dance and violent intent, Lily did not hesitate; she made a pulling motion with her hand, and three arrows appeared in her hand, floating up to her palm as if they had been turned back in time. Then, with a single volley, the arrows were loosed, striking each of the three golems straight in the center of their bodies. The golems seemed unaffected at first, and were about to reach Lily, when the power of her magic was revealed; the golems found themselves teleported back to right where they were five seconds ago. No matter where they ran, or how they acted, they would return back to that same spot five seconds later, only to be nailed on the spot by another volley of arrows in the exact same spot the moment they were returned, impossible to dodge. These arrows were accelerated with Time magic, and hit with enough kinetic force to blow their metallic bodies apart.
”I’m finally starting to get the hang of this magic!”

The two corrupted girls turned their heads simultaneously to look at Penny, startled by the sheer strength that she used in holding their weapons down. “B-But-” One of the girls attempted to speak, only to be shot down by Penny’s scolding. The other girl bit her lip, having realized her mistake. “I...I guess that is true.” The two girls stepped aside, no longer hostile. As for the rest of the girls in the Sanctuary, Penny’s statement of having built the place successfully caught their attention, and one by one the noises in the shelter subsided. “Penny the Builder...” One of them muttered to another girl who silently nodded.

At first, Penny’s request to help quell the riots was made with booing and audible disapproval. But then, once she brought up the Ascendancy, their attitudes changed; many of them turned pale in the face, while others began to shed tears, having remembered what happened at the Red Rave. For a while, Penny’s final question was met with silence.

“Fuck it, I’ll go.” One of the girls casually whipped their hand up in the air, followed by walking past Penny. “But I’m not going there because I’m afraid of some nazis. I want my revenge on the bitch who killed my friend.”
That was the breakthrough, after which many more girls joined up and left the Sanctuary.
As people passed by, Penny found herself poked by a creepy-looking monster girl.
“Umm, Penny? I...I know some magic that...Morphs the flesh...” She stated, averting her eyes in anxiety. “I’ve only used it to attack civilians and their pets, but...Can I use it to help? I mean, we have some injured folks, some lost limbs, organs...I’ve never done it before, but...Uh...”
“Penny!” Suddenly, Penny’s attention was drawn to Goblina, who ran up to her. “What happened at the party? Where’s Cindy? I got knocked out just before we were about to attend, and I heard Elvira betrayed us?”

Sharron nodded, grateful for receiving the cleaned glasses. “Thank you. I...I must say, I didn’t expect such kindness.” She then looked shocked upon hearing the revelation about the rave’s attack, and held the handle of her glasses with a trembling arm, causing them to shake too. “A...psychic nuke? That explains the ringing in my head. But, who could have created something like that? Only organizations with access to vast resources like the Ebon Mint would have the ability to procure such a weapon.” She then turned quiet, contemplating what had happened with her, and her rescuers.

“...Sharron,” she finally responded, and stood up...Or at least attempted to, before she stumbled to lean against a wall. “Ugh! Still a bit light-headed...Damn...” She slid back down to sit, her back against the wall, as she listened to the girls explain their intentions behind saving her. She noticed as one of the younger-looking dark magical girls peeked at her behind a corner, and hid again upon being spotted. “The right thing, huh...” She averted her eyes. “Was your choice to attend this gathering of debauchery the right thing too? Was the death and destruction of humanity the right thing to do as well? Or do you think a simple act of kindness justifies all the sins you have committed?” She slammed the back of her fist against the wall.

“You delude yourself with false morality, and run away from the consequences of your actions like cowards! You should be ashamed of yourselves!”

Vivi gasped,, and bit her lip when Su filled in on the rave’s events. “Justine...One of the Seven Sinners!” She squinted as she was met with gazes by the others. “It is a group of the world’s most dangerous magical heretics and monsters, each represented by a Deadly Sin.” She chuckled. Each one is capable of destroying the world on their own if given the chance. Fortunately, the Beacon has successfully contained most of them, and sent the others into hiding. Justine, the Sinner of Pride, has been particularly slippery, but I thought she was destroyed in the Overcity. I guess a demon like her would find a way to claw their way back from hell.”

“Huh...I figured the ol’ Justy was a big cheese.” Helga admitted, and looked just as confused as Su when the latter asked her about an exit. “Sorry, but I don’t recognize this place.” She looked around. “I think it’s a garbage dump or something, but I’m not sure. Maybe the hot lady can give us directions.” A couple of seconds passed, followed by her poker face breaking into out loud laughing. “HAH-HAH! Get it? Cause she’s literally on fire? AA-HAHH-HAH!”
Vivi giggled a bit at the joke, only to roll her eyes as the cinder block made her demands. “Alright, you can haz cheezburger, geez.” She used a small spout of water to lift herself back up, and took a look at her surroundings. “Huh...Don’t think I’ve ever been to this sector of the Overcity...”
After Askefye gave some dubious directions, she made fingerguns at her with her claws, smiling happily. “Alright! Thanks for the tip, Magmadonna!” She waved goodbye to Askefye before she went over to FanFan. She was about pick her up again when the Ascendancy girl slapped the claw away. “Oh, don’t you humiliate me anymore! I can walk on my own legs.” That said, she did have to use a robotic arm as a walking cane to support herself, still looking weak. Helga didn’t mind, however, and took Su’s hand. “So what places did you go to when you last came to the Overcity? Maybe we could go shopping for some stuff? I heard they’ve got all kinds of cool trinkets on sale.”
Vivi on the other hand glared at Askefye, aware of the bridge and its contents. “Haha, really funny. How about you give some real directions. I’ll gib you some dinner then,” she added, followed by cracking her knuckles. “Or maybe you’ll like a cold glass or 80 of H2O.”
And so, with a bit of bickering, the rag-tag group of misfits found themselves at the bridge.
Helga stepped forth.“Alright, let’s see if the portal is-ah.” She paused, and lifted her hand to her ear.

“I hear snoring. Like, heavy, fat guy snoring.” She lifted an eyebrow at Askefye. “You sure this is the right way?”

Viv had her arms crossed, tapping her foot. “Sure sure. It’s not like the evil hell demon here would ever lie. Isn’t that right?” She asked sharply, glancing at the taller girl.

Trixy’s entangling shots proved effective in obstructing Hyun Long’s dragon-headed tentacles, even if she had to avoid shooting directly at the monster queen herself due to Rachel blocking her line of fire from the front. The Inquisitor herself possessed most of the monster queen’s attention, walloping at the tentacles with blows mighty enough to outright decapitate the dragonheads or flatten them into the floor. Not only did the seed shots blow up the monstrous appendages on impact, the resulting explosions of roots also caught other tentacles near the initial one, preventing Hyun from reaching over to eat Ceriza.

The tentacles lashed out at Trixy in revenge, only to be stopped by Alicia’s explosive arrows that met their mark, blasting her back and leaving chunks of wriggling flesh left in their wake, decimating all the tentacles in her rear. Serenity then charged in to the opening to stab at Hyun, only to be met with a blast of fire shot from Hyun’s human arm, successfully dodging it. Shane blasted Hyun Long’s other flank with lightning bolts and fried the scaly worms, this time saving Cerisa from a gourmet fate. And soon enough, as the piece of the ghost ship was brought, a gray fog soon spread over the corpses on the floor, causing them to disappear in spooky fashion.

When one tentacle snapped at Shane, about to bite into his outstretched arm in revenge, the resulting shock caused Hyun Long to screech in pain, followed by Sil delivering an attack that cuth through the tentacles like a knife through spaghetti, visibly wounding the main body in the process. Pained by such moves, she only noticed Amaryllis once she kicked off the hanging cage, now above her.

The monster queen visibly drooled as her eyes traced over the Knight of Rose’s abundant figure; her Devourer instinct told her that the swordswoman was the most delicious out of all the potential prey in the hall, possessing more meat around her bones than the average magical girl. Tentacles burst up toward her like an enclosing venus trap, only to be met with chunks of concrete that obscured her vision. At that moment, Amaryllis had laid her trap, and chains wrapped around Hyun Long’s hydra-like form; her tentacles trashed about, causing the chains to further entangle into her body.

Like a fishing net that has obtained a mass of octopi from the depths of the sea, the monster queen began to ascend up. To Amaryllis’ misfortune, she did not have the time to evade the rising monster queen as she was caught in the hungry being’s tentacles, wrapping around her arms and limbs in immobilizing fashion and snatching her as the both of them passed the ceiling and met the rainy night of Penrose.
“FHHHEEEDDH!” Hyun howled, and her tongue slithered out from her lips as she gazed upon Amaryllis. As she struggled, she was brought closer to the monster queen’s human body, where her teeth-filled maw waited, about to bite into her flesh up above the city of Penrose.

Celia and Nightwing were locked in mortal combat, neither side gaining an advantage over the other in their struggle. “Argh...You’re pretty good. But against a former Mint killer, you don’t stand much chance-wait, is that thing…” She turned to see the dragon lift its wings. “SHIT!” She screamed, and created a cloud of darkness the moment the sand twister struck them; Celia was thrown towards the Ascendancy group, her crystalline skin ground by sand into a rough texture. Nightwing managed to avoid the worst of the attack, but ended up throwing herself against a vine hedge that quickly entangled her. “Crap! Get off me!” She used one Bladebats to cut herself off, and coughed out some sand. “Damn, that dragon sucks!” She threw her other Bladebat at the dragon, aiming to cut its body into a salad.

Hudie took her chance when Hilaria’s attention was diverted to Emily, and rushed forth to Cardinal Ishtar, who was now slowly sinking into the quick-sand like mud.
She lifted her up, and placed a hand over her heart.
“Hudie...Helewisa is...She needs...help...”
But then, the masked girl placed a finger on her lips. “It’s going to be fine, Cardinal. Now, close your eyes, and empty your thoughts. When you wake, you are saved.” The Cardinal weakly nodded, and closed her eyes. The moment she did so, Hudie muttered a spell. A great magical circle surrounded the two, resembling a sundial that reflected the movement of the planets in it’s shadow-like clock.

“Echo of Ages,” she calmly spoke, and the Cardinal was frozen, brought to a temporal stasis. Her curse stopped spreading, having also been stopped in unyielding time.
Tsuki rushed over to her. “Is she okay, Hudie? We need to retreat and-AHH!” She turned to see the draconic entity flap its wing-like appendages, and cast a quick barrier. The resulting blast of wind sent Elora spinning wildly into the air atop her techno-cube, landing in the Spirit Zone.
“Oof...I got yeeted, and hard.”
Tsuki herself survived, but Hudie was thrown against a vine hedge. As she cut herself free with her fan, she realized that Ishtar was snagged, brought deeper into the green foliage.
“Cardinal!” She cried out.

Mia’s magic melted the icy earth, causing it to bloom and awaken to new life. Having drawn upon Gaia’s bounty, she succeeded in claiming a stake on Penrose Park. This resulted in Aighorost failing to expand his corruptive influence upon the land as it was locked in a tug-of-war with Mia’s magic, restricting it to the Park. However, as long as his avatars remained, neither side would budge from their place in nature or overcome the other.

Accepted. The big sis Ally image link seems to be broken, but otherwise no problems.
A public announcement from the GMs regarding Patrons and their involvement in the RP's events. Patrons are allowed to interact with and even assist their chosen magical girl/s, with the following conditions:

1. Direct interference from Patrons in a combat situation or completing objectives on behalf of their chosen magical girl/s reduces coin payout if their interference is not covered in the magical girl's benefits and drawbacks.
2. This reduction is dependent on how great and/or frequent the interference was, and may affect future coin payouts as well.
3. Repeated violations of Patron interference will end up with reduced magical ability of the chosen girl/s and ultimately loss of magic.

"...”

There was no response from Elvira as she hung tangled in the web of filaments she had herself created, before they disappeared and she dropped to the ground; she had changed into a normal-looking girl with headphones worn around her neck, having lost consciousness from the impact of the vehicle, amazingly still alive despite her broken bones.

Penny saw that the Sanctuary had a lot fewer members in it than before; only some of the surviving residents had returned from the Red Rave, and even that group had further split, bickering pockets seen all around the various rooms and corridors. In fact, the first resident she saw, a dark magical girl, was threatening a monster girl with a flail. “You fucking Vi-channers ruined everything! She led everyone straight into a trap!” The monster girl had her sword out, and parried the flail swing. “It’s not my fault! I’m not gonna let anyone talk down to me!”

The Ascendancy girl who stumbled into Ashlyn and Monica’s home, profusely bleeding, turned out to be Sharron, her glasses now painted red. Her screaming had lowered into pained grunts once the door was closed behind her. They then saw the a flash of lightning briefly peek into the Home from under the door, but it did not pass through. Soon enough, Sharron calmed down, her breathing still unsteady, but slowly recovering.
“You...What just happened? Did you...Save me?” She attempted wiping her glasses with her sleeve. “Why would monsters like you do such a thing? To further torment me?”

Lily made an awkward smile as she saw Emily stumble and perform an emptying reflex, having realized she shouldn’t have spun the drunk girl like that. Still, what the poor girl had produced looked colorful thanks to her variety of drinks, but it didn’t diminish the repulsive factor much.
”Oh! I-I’m, uh...Sorry about that.”

She went over to help lift emily back up when she listened to Alex’ grumblings, ripping one of her wrist-bound cloths off to clean Emily’s mouth.
”Whatever this is, it wasn’t done by any dark magical girl looking for revenge against Beacon. I’ve never seen magic this powerful before, and that’s the scary part. But as bad as that was, we gotta go before it gets worse in Penrose Park!” She nodded with a smile of gratitude at Connie and Mia’s agreement.
”Great! Let’s go-WHOAH!” She braced for the gust of wind as Sakura’s bike had transformed, having turned into a bright pink helicopter.
”Pink chopper! That’s amazing!”
The, Umu changed into a woman ,causing Lily to gasp.
”Oh, nice to meet you, miss Kamy!” She greeted her in a ditzy manner, not bothered by the fact it was a fuzzy cat-thing seconds ago.
However, Shoggy’s appearance did cause her to scream, and jump into Alex’ arms in a cartoonishly scared reaction.
”Nooo, it’s a wriggly thing! Gross, gross, grooosss!”
She cringed at Kamy’s suggestion, and crossed her arms with straight fingers to form an X before her.
”Nope! Me and Alex have our own ride! Let’s go!”
She ran up to her motorcycle and hopped on it, waiting for Alex to get on before she blasted off at top speed, spooked by Shoggy.

Shane successfully took in the remaining strands of the electric Barrage that had streamed by the entrance, restoring his magical reserves. Leena, unable to focus, failed to hold the Nullification Field, and it dropped. Helga did as ordered without hesitation, and grabbed FanFan who groaned weakly in response, draping her over her shoulder. She then busted down the wall with a single punch, revealing the empty room beyond. “Get in!” She yelled to the others and dove in, trusting that Su would catch everyone in the Shift.

Once they were on the other side, Helga would lower the Ascendancy girl, adn swiped her brow with the back of her clawed hand; she was sweaty, and still a bit shaky. “Geez louis the fourteenth sun king, I almost got a heart attack there!” She yelled, her voice having a bit more bass in it. She lowered her voice, turning to Su. “Thank you so much, Su. I knew you could pull through.” She then sighed as she listened to Mika’s explanation; she frowned at first, but then gave a gentle smile. “It’s okay, Mika. The important thing is that we all managed to get out. Bye!”
She waved to Mika as she left, and then let her arms droop. “I think I could use a little beach dimension time too...” But then, Su caught her with a surprise kiss, causing her to blush. “Sure thing, hun. Don’t be long now.” She sent su off with a fanged smile, and then turned to FanFan with a wider one; the latter girl was grateful for the handkerchief, even if it was difficult to interpret from her saddened expression. “So...You’re part of Beacon, correct?” Helga asked, to which FanFan nodded. “Yes...” She answered, and Helga sat down cross-legged. “Ok. Tell me all about this rave and why you attacked.” She nodded, and began to pour forth exposition too redundant to apply once more.

Vivi lifted a weak hand up to her face, and attempted to wipe the blood that Askefye referred to; she got most of it, though she left a smear that ran down her nose and the sides of her cheeks. “...Crap, you’re right. Ugh...” She mumbled, and blinked at seeing the strange world she was taken to. She created a small dose of water from her hand, and washed her face clean. Then, with some effort, she sat up to look at Askefye as she made her rant.

“Huh...I see...” She answered, and then made a weak chuckle. “Just some dinner, huh? I can pay you that much.” She sighed. “What even happened there? It was like, my mind was struck with an endless storm of migraines. Before that, there was some kind of buzzing in the air, too. I guess the others didn’t make it…” She then used some water to wash her uniform of the fire girl’s blood, and then tucked in her knees, holding them against her chest. “Sharron...Juliana…” she sniffled, and wiped her eyes. ”I will avenge you.” It was then that Su stumbled upon the two, and Vivi slowly turned towards her. “Yes...” She answered, looking a bit shy. “Do you know what happened?”

Alicia busted into the back rooms, and discovered Eden’s corpse; it was missing a bite-marked chunk out of her shoulder. At that moment, Serenity popped into the room, teleported in by a higher being. There was also a hole in the wall, leading to the backstage and main hall; from there, she saw the back of what looked like a horrible monster with numerous tentacles; by the time the final force of magical girls entered the rave, Hyun Long had moved to the main hall by crashing through the back of the stage, consuming the corpses of magical girls using her dragon-headed tentacles. As a result, she had gained many more tentacles like a hydra, to the point of using them to lift herself up higher like Yunalesca’s second form.

“FOR MY FALLEN SISTERS!”

Rachel screamed a war cry as she fought against the monster queen; like a valiant knight against a fiendish dragon, she spun her hammer around and and smashed the dragon heads that snapped against her sturdy barriers, failing to get a good blow at Hyun Long herself.

“FEERGHHH!” She snarled, seemingly maddened by the lightning strike, and formed an arm composed of ten dragon tentacles, pointing them at Rachel. The dragon heads glowed, opened their jaws, and ten small streams of fire erupted forth, combining together to form a blast resembling a dragon’s breath.
Rachel formed a shield-shaped barrier to her front, barely holding on.
“Curses! She’s grown so powerful!” While she performed the breath, she continued harvesting bodies with other dragonheads, growing more dragon tentacles than Rachel could destroy. Then the girls saw who were next on the cannibalistic creature’s menu; Ceriza and Cerise, the poor twins who were caught in the crossfire, still crackling with electricity from the Barrage that had struck them.

At Penrose Gardens, the magical muggers successfully escaped, causing Kimble to throw a small hissy fit. “Damn it! I failed Mistress! Now she’s gonna hate me...” While Kimble was thrashing about in the air, Sally frowned as she listened to her magicomms. “I just got word from Penrose Park...There was some kind of attack on the Ascendancy at the rave. And by the sounds of it, it’s bad!” she stated, carelessly waving Aurelio’s detached arm, causing it to flop around. “You go ahead and investigate! I’m retrieving the wounded!” She ordered the remaining non-named girls, and the they teleported with a salute.
“Shamrock Sally here, calling an extraction,” she would order, and soon enough the rest of them were back at HQ.

It didn’t take long before Aurelio was seated in the infirmary, the Reinforcement girl having begun the re-attaching process of his arm. Kimble was sitting on the other side, seemingly taking a nap. “Now, this is going to sting a little as the nerves connect, so try to hold still,” the medic advised, followed by activating a healing spells as she moved the limb to the stump. Aurelio felt how the nerves of his arm smoothly joined with the arm, causing a phantom sensation similar to needles stinging in his arm. Sally bit her lip.
“Try to endure it, Aury-poo! I need to go now!” However, as she was about to leave, she ran into Janet, who was carrying Jenna in her arms. “Janet! Thank Beacon you’re alive! What happened?” She asked, looking shocked.

Sammy, for the longest time, simply watched as Nuncio and the others spoke. However, once she was patted, she spoke:

“Thank you, Nuncio. I’m a bit tired, so let’s resume our investigation after some rest in a hideout of your choosing.”

On their way to the park, Lily happened to hear a racket, and drove to the side street where the victim Yamamoto family’s home was. She then saw from a window how dark magical girls were tormenting a mother and her daughter.
”Those bullies...Those bully bitches!”
She cried out, and skid her motorcycle to a stop. She kicked open the front door, and aimed her bow at the dastardly group.

”Lower the little girl down and leave, or I will shock your hair straight up!”
She threatened them, looking absolutely furious.

Penrose Park had turned into a spheksophobist’s nightmare, as giant wooden hornets dive bombed to attack the Ascendancy. However, Ronin was there to protect both sides of the conflict, and with expert sword technique scattered the first wave horrifying insect golems into the breeze. Lillia’s greatbow shots further scattered the swarm, mighty bone arrows piercing their wooden carapaces in a satisfyingly crunchy fashion. Tsuki thrusted her staff forward, and a shockwave of magic blasted the second wave away, blasting them to bits. Elora assisted her withy various robot arm-held guns to shoot them out of the sky while chopping up the few that did reach her, making sure none of them got close to the Cardinal. Anaya’s knights further protected the girls, ensuring none of them were stung by the acidic stingers as they blew holes through the armor-possessing spirits.
However, there were still more hornets on their way, spawning from Aighorost’s avatar.

Hudie attempted to approach the cursed leader, only to have an arm of all things thrown at her at by a very enraged Hilaria, deflecting the projectile with a high kick. Curiously, the masked magical girl fluidly avoided the dread-inducing dark magical girl’s every attack, as if she didn’t rely on simple intuition or reflexes but something more concrete. She summoned her magical weapon, which was a bladed fan resembling a butterfly’s wings, and slashed at Hilaria; these left gashes in her formidable armor but failed to directly cut her. “Curse you, you brute! If only I could get close, I could save the Cardinal!”

Ishtar looked on as Hilaria fought, and cried, even as she looked so weak she could barely sit up. “Helewisa...She can...freeze me...” She slowly cried out. “She..can save me...Please...Remember...the food that...you love...”
She then coughed, holding a hand to her mouth, and saw black blood flowing from her lips. “Please...Hele...wi...sa...” She closed her eyes, and her head slowly descended to the ground, as her coughs intensified.

Viper was not doing well; as prepared as she was, even she couldn’t have predicted the amount of magical girls who had converged in the area, not to mention the laid-back looking girl who turned absolutely nuts and was teleported right up to her face. Having spent a lot of her mana just to keep the beserker still ong enough for her to flee, she didn’t have more for Celia, who was now in pursuit of her. She felt her steps slowing down from the loss of blood, and she turned back to see her having turned into a fearsome draconic entity, shimmering vividly with gem-like scales. She rushed forth…

Only to be stopped by what looked like a small black ball with two blades curving around it, spinning in a deadly fashion and forcing Celia to block the attack.
Then, Viper turned to see who had arrived. “Nyx? I thought you were dead!”
Turns out, Nightwing had escaped from her binds, and by pure stroke of luck happened to wander in the direction of the park, where she saw Viper chased.
“I still am...The Mint will ensure that,” she coldly stated, and with a point of her finger cast a darkness spell over Viper. “I failed them. But you can still free yourself from your debt, Viper! You can live! So go!”

She saw that Celia was coming at them again, and charged right towards her, using a second bladeball to intercept her attack. Viper looked shocked, but then, with a bite of her lip, she turned away; the seemingly emotionless assassin shed a tear as she used the darkness to escape for good. Meanwhile, Nightwing stood her ground. “I am ready to die, but my life won’t come at a cheap price!” She spun both bladeballs around her, before she launched them at her flanks.
“So come and get it!”
Yep, as long as they don't participate more than other Patrons she's fine.
