I want to write, but don't ever seem to have the drive anymore. Every time I come back to this place and pop in to see how things are going, I want to come back. But I just can't seem to stick around.

At this point I think it’s safe to say I hate college, since I’m in my graduating semester with 6 classes, but I’m also pretty anxious about whatever will happen once I’m finally done.

That last month of the semester hit me real hard, but so begins the recovery process. I just want to chill out for a bit without having to think about another academic paper...

It's been 4 years so I may as well put something in here, right?

I tend to enjoy worlds verging on the bleaker side of things, not really sure why. I like 'em gritty and somewhat grounded, with a reasonable amount of realism (fun takes priority though, ofc). I guess I just like having a sense that defeat is right around the corner, though overwhelming odds are always best saved for those wonderful moments when everyone feels like a total badass regardless of victory or defeat.

I've really wanted to find an RP set in the worlds of Red Dead, Hunt: Showdown, For Honor, the Metro series, and a few others I can't remember at the moment. Any time I look I come up empty-handed, but I'd still like to find one.

Explain please


Explain the dimensional stuff? o.o

Well by that I mean the ability to open rifts between dimensions. Kind of like The Herald from DC universe, or like the video game called "Singularity".
It would also include the ability to shift objects in to or out of phase. By that I mean the object would become trapped between dimensions, visible but intangible like a ghost.

Technology is very steam punk/Middle Ages where the most advanced tech is Stone Age Gatling gun.

No computers, no vehicles, no problem


So what about revolvers or lever-action shotguns? Are those okay?

I'm not the GM but I can take a go at answering. As far as technology there have been no hard line rules set, but it is a fantasy setting so that should probably give you some loose guideline, I'd guess that things like robots and laser rifles are a no-no. There are no hard rules for magic beyond not being hideously OP one shot everything.


What about if the "gun" acts as a magnifying lens for magical energy? An example would be focusing fire magic into the gun to effectively create a flamethrower, or perhaps even to create "lasers". Just an idea.

Also, would magic be spell based or would it be...idk, free casting? Or both? And by free casting I mean that the character has control over fire and can manipulate it into a flame wall or torch or whatever is wanted.

Excuse me, I'm a tad confused...what exactly does "technology" in the CS refer to? I see a great many characters with magic and fantasy weapons, and then one or two with guns.

Just what are the parameters for technology?

Also, are there any particular limits to magic? Beyond power and strength, that is.

Sidearms allowed, Queens Armory allowed, however, the new exotics will have to go under banned arms, illegal shit. :P
Even in a world where heretic usage of combined tech is rather accepted no mish mash weaponry are comming aboard this mission... That is obvious ones like Lord of Wolves, Vex Mythoclast, etc etc.

Well the Vestian Dynasty is the new Sidearm from House of Wolves.

The Hygeia Noblesse is a Queen's scout rifle you can get from Prison of Elders.

@ArkmageddonCat I wouldn't think so, since we haven't done anything with weapons so far. The Almighty GM isn't on at the moment, but I personally don't see a problem with it


Indeed...but I do not know if the use of the Hygeia Noblesse or Vestian Dynasty would be allowed.
