"Thank you Lord Damien," the fair elf replied, dipping her blond head deferentially, "It is a great pleasure to make your acquaintance though I assure you all, your crossbows are not necessary. You are safe within the confines of the tower."

Assallya kept quiet on the commentary of the others. While certainly they wished to understand why they were there the apprentice decided it best to leave the revelation of such information to Dratchen. The wizard would have some difficulty explaining it in such a way that the warriors would believe it, more so that he wasn't in some way responsible for crashing their ship in order to fulfill that prophecy.

"There is chilled mead if you would have some. I can also fetch ice from the ice house if it suits your will," she continued, suggesting libation for their parched throats beyond mere water.

When it was revealed that Clara was the hacker who gave the bad guys Aiden and Damien's name, Clara referred to Aiden as a fixer.Aiden was most definately a hacker as well.EDIT: Just watched the cutscene again, she said one was a hacker and the other a fixer, never said which was the hacker or the fixer. Damien is definitely no fixer to much of a pansy for that. That only leaves Aiden as a fixer who is also a hacker.

Actually that was an aside and I was referring to real life. In the real world a Fixer is a contacts man. Think Face from the A-Team. He or she knows just about everyone in the underworld. When you need a fifth man for your bank job, need new weapons or some fake identities, he's the guy you call.

Watch Dogs gets it wrong on this one. However, for the sake of expediency and genre emulation a fixer is more of a point man hence forth.
Oh, you never mentioned that, only that you didn't want your particular recursion conquered.

We can go that route but it severely limits your ability to function. You'd have no ability to enter any conquered territory. You'd be marginalized, forced to stay on the outer rim forever. The key to being a successful rebel is to hide in plain sight, using guile to get close to your enemies so you can deal them hurt where they are most vulnerable. You are, after all, outnumbered several thousand to one.

So long as there is a minimal number of ships belonging to some variant of your own dimension there is room to finagle IFF, spoof sensors or just bluff your way aroundF
I do listen. Whoever said this was Colimbia's Twelve Colonies?

"This was the third time they'd taken Coruscant...." clearly indicates that this is the third recursion of the Star Wars galaxy.

For some amount of spoilers, they took a single recursion of the 12 Colonies but decided against any others, their resources were far too limited to merit repeated invasions. This Columbia's recursion is untouched, their Columbia having been destroyed. The galaxies of the 12 Colonies are barren for some reason and devoid of life. They make for poor slave stock. It might, should the grest Endevour permit make for some fascinating study. Why is it that this Galaxy alone is so barren? Where were the ancient races that seeded the galaxiesof other recursions?

Mind you, now all that is totally ruined.
What the fudge?
Hmmm.... maybe a new group of "Fixers" (Horrible name that... Fixers aren't hackers. A Fixer finds things for other criminals) has come to town and is causing trouble. Who are they? Why are they setting up shop in this particular city? Can the Daemons find them and dismantle their operations before the city falls apart?
*lol* I'm not looking for an opportunity to make it happen. I just thought it funny, like how the group was trying to move stealthily across the town when one of their number is pretty much running around naked.
Possible names for a Vigilante organization:

--Daemons (A computer Daemon is a program that waits until called upon by a system event. Relevant because this is what the vigilantes do, wait for a crime and then act to stop it)
--System Crash or Sys_Crash
--Nethacks
--Roguelikes (*giggles*)
The elven woman didn't know what to call the crew of the starship that carried the paramilitary company, the dozens of engineers and officers that made the repairs and navigated the ship the company used to get from planet to planet. Her pink tongue slipped out, wetted her ebony painted lips and she considered how she should best respond. For a moment she considered letting her master respond but he wasn't very good with people, that was her skill and half the reason he permitted her to be his apprentice.

"They were as you are but without armour," Assallya attempted to explain, "Perhaps they are the peasants that serve you or that you were meant to protec...?"

The elven woman's voice trailed off as she realized what she was insinuating. That would be rude. A noble lord would protect his vassals to his dying breath. To do otherwise would be a grievous dishonour. Or at least, it was to those of this realm; There were other realms, those controlled by the Daemon Lord that held different values.

"Your other companions," she added, changing the subject in case she had inflicted shame upon Rowan, "they slumber. When we found them, Myrkul, god of death was hovering at their side. While they slumber all their energy is devoted to healing. They would surely perish should they awaken. I apologize. It was the best I could do. I am an enchantress not a theurge."
The thread name I like... but I must admit I'm not fond of "Boot Sector" either. The Boot Sector is a traditional place for viruses and hacking to be installed on all manner of devices. It's also the foundation for computing.

Take "Dead_Sec" for example. It's simply short for "Dead Sector" which is when you have a corrupt and unrepairable section of your hard disk. The operating system works around that spot from then on. There's really nothing to the name that indicates hackers, hacking or vigilantism.
