Name: Saraswati Balasubramanian- Her friends call her "Sara" or "Swat"
Screen name: Arlanni
Cursor Color: Orange

Age: 23
Level: 20
Appearance: Sara is more than likely to be surprised by her appearance in the game world. She had selected a milk skinned, blond avatar with woad tattoos.
Beta tester or first time: Newb.
Skills: Belly Dancing, Stealth, Climbing, Lock Picking, Backstabbing, Legerdemain,
Weapons: Bow, Short Sword
Equipment: Grappling Hook, Thieves Tools, Mirror on a stick, 25,000 Col, Healing Potion, Potion of Anti-Petrification, Warp Crystal (Starting City), Haste Potion
Guild: Has no Guild as of yet but if she did go for one it'd be one that focused on the thieving.
History: Before the announcement, Arlanni was a "newb hunter". She would appear to new, low level players and tell them she knew of a great place to "grind" for levels. Once they were outside the "safe zone" her comrades, all PKers would descend upon their hapless victims. Since Arlanni never participated in the attack she remained "green" and therefore trustworthy to do so again. In return, they gave her a portion of the spoils. Thus she became quite wealthy and had far better items than her level than one would normally expect.

Arlanni, since the announcement that circumstances in the game became dire, has actively avoided seeking out monsters and other players. At first she was just going to keep to herself until those in the game were rescued. A sound enough tactic... except, one still needed to eat or their character's hit points would start to drop. That meant food. It also wouldn't do, sleeping in alleys and getting her throat cut by a player killer in her sleep.

Her solution to this was to stick mostly to thievery, robbing various NPCs and PCs of significantly lower level while avoiding players of a much higher level. After all, if one gets caught doing minor things like petty thieving, the most the city guard seemed to do was put you in a cell for the allotted time. As a result, in the same six months everyone else has been playing, Sara is a fair bit lower level. It also has changed her "Green" cursor color over to "Orange".

What really bothers her most is the fact that, after discovering that she may have killed real people, she doesn't feel particularly bad about it. She isn't sure if it's because she didn't know at the time... or if she really isn't bothered by killing people. One thing is for certain, she doesn't want to die but at the same time... she's starting to think that nobody is coming to save them. If that's the case, maybe... just maybe killed people to go up in level so that she could take a shot at the final boss is tempting. Only... she doesn't believe that the final boss can be defeated and that this is all some sick joke on behalf of the game designer that hijacked the game.
Any differences from the anime? Can we have archers? What about magic?
Oi? What happened? We went from everyone posting once a day... to only one person posting each day.

Be careful... I saw some chickens trying to learn how to fly... First they fly and then they conquer the world! Do not upset your mighty chicken overlords!
Silent Observer said His body was thin, characteristic of an elf, but also well toned with muscles. Whether in humanoid form or animal, he was constantly moving in the world, working different muscles. He jumped into the water, opening his eyes underneath it. The fishes and creatures swam toward the druid curiously, most likely sensing his magick as Cana did years before. In seconds, his head emerged from the water and he shook the long black snakes of wet hair from his face. "We shall see about the others. I will trust them little."

"You need not trust them," Nyala replied, "You merely need trust them to be as they are. Men are not so different from beasts, like them each shall perform according to their natures. Like a beast, it is only that we must come to their markings. I am Nyala by the way, a Njordman, hunter of Jotunn, Unseelie and other fell creatures that would harm the land."

Stepping from the water, Nyala threw her long crimson hair, wicking it with her hands. She fancied a swim but there was little time. The others would be gathering soon and while she was dead certain that she and her new druid companion could track the assemblage from sea to sea, she was more worried that they might pause, waiting for herself and her new companion.
Hmmm... haven't seen that particular class or kit. I have enjoyed the cavalier though. For me the paladin will always be the crusader.

I recently spied the Pathfinder technology book and I'm wondering how easily that might transition over to D&D fifth edition.
"Crusader" is an interesting term whose definition varies according to the eyes of the beholder. To many they are deemed the ultimate in "white knights" and idealism and certainly many truly were, to others they typify the exemplarization of corruption given their heinous acts while to others, particularly to those residing in the Holy Land at the time, the epitome of evil.

The truth is, as it usually is with any group of people, a mixed bag of all of the above.

After all, a synonym for crusader is jihadist. They are both soldiers of their faith.
*gasp* Cagan's not interested in the horizontal mambo? Okay, he certainly has to be has the maturity of a thirty year old... or maybe... not interested in girls? :) *tease and prod*
Silent Observer said A snapping branch interrupted his moment of peace and he looked down to see the barbarian woman awake and walking somewhere. With interest, he finished his prayers and hopped down from the tree to follow her. Being more beast than man, her nakedness did not bother him, not in the slightest. All creatures were born that way, humanoids were the only ones strange enough to change it. "It is good to see that I will not be the only one to wake before the sun throughout our journey." he said choppily in the Common tongue, which came less naturally to him than Druidic, Elven, or Sylvan.

While Nyala was a woodsman, she didn't possess the nose of an actual beast. At this range she couldn't tell one scent from another. Her ears, however, were sharp enough to recognize the tongue in question. The druid from the tavern. She rather suspected he would be far more capable of finding her than she him. As priests were to knights and paladins, so too were druids to berserkers and rangers.

"Not all may be useless," Nyala replied as she pulled a handful of water up to her shoulder and let it run down her length, "I did spy an archer amongst them though far too many are city folk.

"Still some may surprise us."

That much was true. Some city folk, especially those they called rogues and thieves, weren't completely useless moving through the woods. Plus, wizards, no matter where they hailed from, as fragile and easy to kill as they were, were remarkably powerful if you could keep them alive long enough to finish their incantations.
