The Institute does have classes like a normal school, so you'd need to change all that.

I'll accept the statement and adjust accordingly, though I don't see how this is possible. I find it hard to believe since there are only about twenty bedrooms. It's a mansion, not a dormitory. That and with only a half dozen instructors, they couldn't possibly cover every subject a university would include or provide enough classes for several hundred students, let alone finding rooms large enough to house the desks. They have... maybe three such rooms?

Drop the level of TK strength to around one ton and limit his flying speed and he'd be ok. But being a Canadian criminal and sporting a cape and a buster sword has got to go. Bastion by itself works as an alias, IDK who would dub him the Last Bastion of Virtue cause if he did it himself he sounds pretentious. ~KL~

He dubbed himself, like Shadowcat called herself Ariel and then Sprite, before settling on the much more apt Shadowcat. Generally, Bastion, (Since most people are likely to refuse calling him by the full name he chose) is pretentious by nature. For example, he would arrive upon a scene, strike a pose and holler, "Hail Citizens! Please stand back! The X-Men have arrived and will contain these dastardly villains in the name of peace and love amongst all mankind!" I rather imagine his companions would likely cringe and cover their eyes at such moments. The Buster Sword is a tool and a prop, mostly to help match him up against the reach of other bricks who, standing often twice as tall as him, half arms twice his length. We can do without.

I also forgot to include Sebastian's "glow" when using his powers under weaknesses. This limits his ability to be stealthy or to use his abilities in a crowd without being identified. His powers are not subtle by any means.

Using multiple ID's would be superfluous as well since if it was the X-Men who rescued him from a Canadian dungeon they'd likely set him up one. It's cool if some shadowy Canadian government agency wants him dead to make him need to go into hiding with a new ID in the U.S. The powers as they are seem like too much [wall crawling AND flight, really?]. I don't need an amalgam of Wolverine's backstory with Jean Grey level 5 mutant TK. If tweaks like I mentioned could be made I wouldn't mind having somebody with TK, but it needs toned down a bit.

TK? I'm confused by several of the statements in the power section. Sebastian is a paragon/brick. I don't know why you're referencing Wolverine and Jean Grey. He has far more in common with Colossus, Hulk and Thor. (Though obviously without the lightning on that last) To use this telekinesis Sebastian must be in contact with the substance. He couldn't lift a glass of water a meter away from him if he was dying of thirst. According to some friends I've talked to, he has a lot in common with Superboy of DC Comics who also has no superhuman strength of his own and does so via tactile telekinesis. So effectively, with a one ton strength, we're talking about a brick that can get his arse handed to him by Moon Knight. That's rather humorous.

The "wallcrawling" and "flight" complaint? Any character that can hover in place effectively is a wall crawler. I decided to mention it because he likes to fly in that manner a fair bit. Flyers can easily float up against the ceiling and walk up the sides of buildings. You see a prime example of this in the first Superman movie where Kal-El apprehends a burglar climbing a skyscraper and yet... Superman technically doesn't have the wall crawling power.
Name - Sebastian Thorne
Alias - Last Bastion of Virtue, Bastion
Age - 24
Power[s] - Tactile Telekinesis: Bastion's psychic aura serves as focus to his telekinetic abilities. Thus, he must touch an object in order to affect it. Tactile Telekinesis includes the following abilities:
(1) Lifting Capacity of ten tons and climbing, including the ability to lift fluids as if they were solid by touch
(2) Personal Force Field, extendable by touch allowing Bastion to ignore small arms fire
(3) Subsonic Flight
(4) Clinging (also known as Wall Crawling)

Weapons: Sebastian carries a buster sword straight out of anime. He uses it to expand his reach and cut through walls and vehicles. He would never consider using the edge of the blade against living beings and uses only the flat. The blade is also hollow and inside is a first aid kit.
Equipment: X-Badge Communicator

Weaknesses - Standard Human Weaknesses. His personal force field, while potent does not protect against non-concussive forms of energy (electricity, exotic radiation, sonic strikes...) that many other seemingly invulnerable people like Colossus or the Thing can shrug off. He also has a desire to prove himself as a hero that gets him into trouble.

How long at the Institute - Sebastian has been at the institute only about eight months and he has never been happier.

Favorite subject - The Xavier Institute does not have classes as in traditional schools. Each student had a custom crafted study platform and is assigned tutors. Currently his favourite field is Aeronautics which also includes time in the Blackbird simulator. He hasn't yet been authorized to fly the plane.
Favorite teacher - Shadowcat. Sebastian has a tremendous crush upon Katherine Pryde
Appearance - Sebastian is a lanky tall male with chestnut hair with red highlights. When he first arrived at the mansion he had poor posture and had little in the way of self confidence. Thanks to training by Cyclops and Shadowcat in various martial skills he found his confidence has risen. His posture greatly has improved and as a result he is looking much more handsome.

The Last Bastion of Virtue has modeled his costume off of his favourite comic book superhero, Captain Marvel. He possesses a black uniform, a double breasted jacket with buttons rising up with the right shoulder. A half cape over his left shoulder, the clasp at his collar being a communicator in the shape of a traditional X-Symbol.

BRIEF Bio - Most mutants discover their abilities during puberty. The problem with Sebastian's was that, until he got into a horrible car accident, he had no idea he was a mutant. Stepping out into traffic to rescue a young girl, a semi-truck plowed into him before he could escape the street. Completely unharmed he was introduced to the Canadian way of dealing with mutants. Canada had no charter of rights, no amendments protecting free speech or laws against manipulating the press. CSIS, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, dumped him in a small cell, imprisoned on trumped up murder charges for the unfortunate truck driver. They would let him out if he would submit to joining Beta Flight, otherwise it was Department X.

There being no laws against using torture in Canada, nor using information derived from torture, Sebastian's time in prison was abysmal. Weeks went by, he was scarcely lucid from malnutrition, dehydration and sensory deprivation before he was rescued. A young woman's head emerged from the ceiling, then the rest of her, floating down. In his wretched state he saw only an angel.

Since then, he has been training in Xavier's school to become worthy of that goddess

Notes - Sebastian is a wanted criminal in Canada and eligible for extradition. He often has to make use of false identities.
