Sarah might be a little upset at not getting paid for such a peep show, not so much for the actual nudity. As for the combat, Sarah could cloak the area in darkness and the lightning would cut through it in swathes but it would be like a strobe flashlight. It would be very hard to find Darkshadow in such a situation. This however is balanced by Sarah's barriers and costume providing no protection whatsoever. A lightning bolt might as well be a laser for her purposes,
Nah, that Avatar is a character named Assallya, a D&D character I've had since I was a wee bairn. Though it wouldn't be the first time I had Sarah play as Assallya in D&D adventures in the danger room (In addition to a Star Wars game!). I rather suspect that there are quite a few rumours of Sarah's promiscuous activities concerning the danger room. Ah... if such holographic wonders truly existed...

Sarah's costume is nothing more than a formless mist that is looks very much like a dampening of the light around her figure. She's basically a naked person behind a black veil, If one looks closely, one can see just about everything. She'd probably wear a normal costume if it wasn't for the protective nature of the stuff. It functions better than Kevlar. It's also why if you hit her with sudden intense bursts of light her costume fades away unless she puts more effort into it.
Sarah's shoulders hunched up as the heel of Aya's clenched fist bopped her crown. It stung.

"Ow!" Sarah exclaimed, rubbing the top of her head, "what the fucking..."

That was when Aya pointed out John had struck the final blow.

"Come on! You saw that cast," she declared, straightening and turning to face the diminutive Japanese girl, "throwing into a hurricane, that was sheer dope! I put her on the ropes."

Admittedly, there was probably as much luck as there was skill to that thow but there was no way she would admit that without a great deal of reluctance and especially not to the small Asian girl who was the same size as she was.
Posting is always easier when one has something to love... or something to hate :)
Downtown, The Theater across or adjacent, or otherwise very near to the Church

Sarah popped another piece of popcorn into her mouth as she say behind the candy counter for the theater. It wasn't exactly food but with... whatever those things out there were wandering around in the streets, Sarah wasn't going to risk leaving. There were a few others here. Some of them had armed themselves with the stems of the portable barricades that the theater used to establish waiting lines for movies. Then part of the group had barricaded and shored up the doors.

What bothered Sarah the most was the loss of cellular coverage. That was some hours ago. There simply was no new information on what was happening outside. Who carried a radio anymore when there were smartphones and internet?

Most people had left the moment the things started wandering the streets, eager to race home and rescue their loved ones. Others had decided to jump in their cars and head for the hills, literally... up into the hills outside Parris city. Sarah's boyfriend for the evening had been one of those, having run off on her the first moment things went awry. Sarah, however, intended to do exactly like the emergency broadcast system said, to stay put and obey the quarantine until rescue services arrived.
Oh no, I didn't claim anything was cliche nor was it intended as a criticism against our players. It's intended as a criticism against all of humanity. Humans have this delightful propensity to do whatever is most likely to get themselves killed. Throughout history we stuff ourselves with poison in hopes of extending our lives, we've help plagues along by killing off the creatures that helped thwart the spread and the less said about releasing the demons inside humans through the trepanning ritual the better. Humans are human's worst enemy.
Well, I can't see a single logical reason why anyone would head towards a church of all things in a crisis. It made sense in the medieval ages when abbeys, cloisters, monasteries and other facilities doubled as fortresses and contained gardens inside to cultivate food during a siege. Modern churches are woefully inadequate to providing proper sanctuary. Police can bust in and take you, regardless of any claims to sanctuary. They have no food reserves of any kind, nor any sort of defensive fortifications.

I guess some concepts, like the idea of churches being places of refuge, still persist despite being woefully inadequate to the task.
It's also the fact that, since the GM's mentioned those places, it's more likely that the players will encounter other players and more likely have someone to roleplay with :)
Alright! My apathy phase is over! I'm back bitches!
Sarah's ebony lips opened wide as she stared in slack jawed shock. They'd done it. More importantly she'd done it. She couldn't believe she hit Ororo and right where she aimed. While she'd been practicing at being a ninja and using her powers to hurl all sorts of things she still was a horrible, horrible shot. This was an unprecedented success. Then John brought her low with a thrust column of earth.

"Boo-Yah!" Sarah Covenry exclaimed as Ororo went down and pumped her fists in the air, "Did you see that? Did you! I brought that bitch down! I am the fucking bomb!"

Darkshadow couldn't resist, hopping up and down and performing a victory dance. Normally she was the one that screwed everything up. She'd barely passed her entrance examination that got her onto the rookie team, scraped by and probably left some paint on the examination room door.. This time, however, she was the bang on. Sure it was John that delivered the final blow but it was her, when nobody else could get an attack through Storm's defenses that managed to score a hit, despite the gale force winds and the striking lightning, she'd managed to strike a target the size of her palm.

Hopping as much as she was walking, her bosom bouncing with each victory leap Darkshadow made her way to Ororo. Ignoring Mantle's presence she stepped forward and planted her foot on Storm's chest, directly between Storm's breasts, crafted a small shield out of shadow and a gladius sword straight out of ancient Rome's gladiatorial arenas.

""Yeah beeeeyatches!" she added, lifting her sword to the heavens, azure eyes searching our her companions in what she saw was her moment of triumph, "I so fucking rock!"
