@Asura It's related more to the origin of ninjutsu (the two guys at the header of the RP, that's Indra and Asura, the sons of the Sage, remember) so it'll be less about deva and more about religion.

@Asura If it happened during the winter/wars then I'd say that Konoha would be more than willing to accept a person with a rare genetic bloodline limit. Especially if it inconveniences Kirigakure, who were enemies of Konohagakure during this time. So, if they can somehow obtain her and extract any information from her, that'd be good.
Of course they'd test her first to see where her loyalties are. If she acts suspiciously, she'd probably not get allowed into Konohagakure unless it was with escorts and stuff. (As in, she lives there, but is always imprisoned in her own house, or so).
If Kimmimaro is anything to go off, being locked up like a dog until it's time to attack something might not be uncommon for somebody like her. :p
@Asura It'd probably be more along the lines of them just hunting him using regular, but strong shinobi. Perhaps some sort of ANBU team. Or perhaps there are already hunter nin. Alternate universe. Feel free to come up with your own answer.
Hnn. I'm assuming her defection should also occur before she is officially crowned a Genin? So y'know, she isn't strung up for being a spy. Although I suppose suspicions would always remain, even if using a spy with a super rare and noticeable bloodline is silly as sin.
Is this taking place prior to Kirigakure's hunter-nin being founded? I'm assuming a young teen with the Shikotsumyaku casually packing up and leaving isn't something they would approve of.
