…Y’know. You are right. It would be more fun doing it that way.

That’s what I’m saying! And interacting with the sea life too, if you cone across it, in the floaty zero-g way.

No need to change batteries with runes!!

<Snipped quote by Audacious>

Huh. Maybe I can be of assistance to that. Since I wouldn’t need the equipment that they do.

Well, you don’t. And I technically don’t, but I wanna do it that way anyway because it looks fun to experience.

Better how?

<Snipped quote by Audacious>

It sounds a lot like new math ideas being discovered.

If it were related to conventional learning at all, it’s probably the closest thing.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>

I know, but like, its better.

<Snipped quote by Audacious>

What do you mean?

We’re doing a lot of looking around, but taking the time to go scuba diving would take a lot more time than we probably have.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

So it’s like studying a science or math or something?

Ahhh, ehhh- comparable, in a way?
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

I thought it was something you could just do or figure out.

Yes and no. It takes a real prodigy to just intuit one, but to be able to do it for any of the many of them is very very hard.

Elements can be lost?

Yeah. When no one alive anymore knows anything about them.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

Like what?

Information about a particular lost element.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

And did you learn anything?

Sure did. Good stuff, too.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>

Is there something driving it or is it just curiosity?

Driving force, alright. Some knowledge is just lost outright, recorded only by people long gone.
