Joseph was simultaneously entertained by how uncomfortable this made Bawen, and surprised by the level of vitriol that came pouring out of him. He had become such a meek little dweeb when confronted back in the cafeteria, so Joseph had thought he wouldn't have the balls to say this shit to anyone's face. But he did, and he did not hold back. He well and truly proved his deep seated contempt for the poor bastards that Joseph had called over to meet him. There was one thing that Joseph took good notice of, and that was the fact that in spite of all the bile he heaped on Berke and Mark, he never once said a bad word towards Joseph himself. He couldn't bring himself to talk shit to the man that had dumped him in this awkward situation.

For Joseph, this little nugget of information only filled him with nothing but contempt.

"No." Bawen would hear as a hand shot out and gripped him by the wrist, a new found disdain disseminating through the vice grip he was now held in. "I called these two over on good faith, and you take the chance to spit on their kindness? I don't think so, buddy boy. I think you should apologise to these two fine gents. Like you mean it." Joseph was looking him right in the eyes now. His words suggested compassion for the cruelty endured by the others, but the look in his eyes betrayed a desire to see Bawen suffer.

It wasn't often that Joseph was treated to dinner and a show. Although the dog thing didn't go anywhere interesting, another incident broke out on its heels. Some sheep thing made some comment that pissed off some ornery chick that confronted him then got her hand made limp and some other guy showed up to be antagonistic as well until the whole thing ended with the teachers stepping in to stop the fun. Joseph just chuckled to himself the entire time as he ate breakfast. Here he was, worried that this was going to be a boring, stuffy place and the student body seemed determined to prove him wrong. He had never been happier to be proven wrong. Unfortunately the entertainment had to come to an end, as all things did. Joseph was at least assured that something else was going to start up eventually, and if not, he could always light some sparks himself.

Joseph didn't pay a lot of attention during the tour. If he ever needed to know more about these places, he'd find out when he needed to. All he needed to know about were the places relevant to the subjects he was interested in, but he didn't even have a proper schedule yet. For now, he felt safe keeping his attention to places that actually interested him, like the Athletics Compound. Any good soldier needed a decent workout space. The Research Institute was partially interesting, as if he was going to be a Magic Soldier, he needed a place to study magic, but this Brovak was getting on his nerves. Joseph made a mental note to avoid engaging with him as much as humanly possible.

Joseph couldn't really form an opinion on room assignments, as he barely knew anybody here. At best he could make a few guesses about the character of those he had observed back in the cafeteria, but most of those people were retarded, ornery, or just plain weird. Joseph had a feeling he would just have to leave the damn thing blank and hope for the best. Like a twist of fate, as his thoughts passed over those he had the pleasure of observing earlier, his eyes rested on the sheep Chimera. The little fucker was busy shooting dirty looks at the dog man he had been mouthing off about earlier. Joseph could only guess that he really had a problem with that guy. A malicious smirk shot to his lips.

Suddenly, the sheep would feel an arm wrap around his shoulders in a falsely friendly hug, with Joseph hanging over him displaying a broad grin. "Well howdy there, buddy. I see you're shooting some awful intense looks at those fellas over there. It's because you're too shy to talk to them, right? Don't worry, ol' Joseph Milit's here to help you out." Not giving him a chance to object, Joseph loudly called out to the dog and gorilla pair. "Hey fellas! Little Bo Peep here wants to be friends! Come over and say hello!" Even if the other two didn't respond to his call, Joseph felt like the damage was already done. People were staring, and some of them doubtlessly coming to hasty conclusions about a certain sheep boy that needed a bigger man to help introduce him to people. All the while, Joseph just smiled wider and wider.

Honehe had been largely aloof during the early periods of this initiation. He was not interested in the prattling of this human institution's henchmen, whether they put on a faux monstrous face or not. He had come here to suck up as much knowledge to abscond back to the Commune with as possible, and listening to them talk about patriotic duties and other nonsense was meaningless. He did enjoy the little film they played for them, as unlike others around him, he was quite entertained by a whole human village vanishing off the face of the earth. If the harbinger of such an event was a sentient monster, then all the better for it. Maybe said monster could even prove an ally if they could find and communicate with it. Such a hope might be in vain, as Honehe had no more insight into this "Terraphage" than the humans appeared to.

Honehe spent their breakfast intermission conversing with a few monsters far from the action. He had hoped to sow the seeds of discontent here, but these monsters were largely lacking in ambition, content to live as regular citizens in a hostile society. He had not betrayed his intentions to them yet, but he felt he may never if none of them would prove to have a revolutionary fire in them. It appeared that all he would be able to take from this place would be knowledge. Getting on with the tour, Honehe took note of the key places to learn from. There was much that could be gained from mere passive observation, and these institutions would be the key to doing so.

Room assignments proved more of a problem for Honehe. He knew none well enough to feel comfortable requesting them directly. The problem was that leaving it up to chance may leave him in the company of a human of all things. That would be unacceptable. He had been taught to mask his feelings, but having to endure a prolonged exposure to one or more of them would be troublesome. He would have to be proactive to prevent this outcome. He came to the conclusion that there was no better course of action than to approach the administrator himself.

"Honoured Administrator..." He opened with as he approached the Chimera. He may be a human puppet, but at least he was close enough to monster kind that Honehe would not gag in his presence. "Might I request being paired with someone similar to my species? I apologise, but I do not feel comfortable around less familiar faces. Beyond that, I would not be picky." It was possible the administrator may know of the less than cordial sentiment towards humanity hidden behind his polite words, but the intent of his question would be clear either way. Provided the administrator did not have an agenda to force his cohabitation with humanity, Honehe might escape such misery after all.

@Azereiah

I clearly made this character because everyone else was getting there's pre-approved by Azereiah and I didn't want to feel left out.

Yoshio waited through the ceremony patiently, taking in every word. It was all a formality, but Yoshio felt the need to be respectful of it regardless. Yoshio was intrigued to learn he would be a part of Class A. He knew there was no true meaning in being part of the first class read out from the list, but he felt it could be auspicious in it's own way. Some people attributed a special meaning to being in a class with such a title whether it meant anything or not, and there was the fact that whenever anyone had to look through the class lists, their names would always be the first to be read. It would probably seem silly if anyone could read what was going on in his head right now, but Yoshio was in truth amusing himself with the thought rather than putting any real significance on this.

Upon entering into the classroom, Yoshio chose to sit in the second row, next to a girl with brown hair. "I hope you don't mind me taking this seat?" He asked politely. It was always possible that someone wanted their friends to sit next to them, in which case Yoshio would not mind relinquishing the seat in order to accommodate them. Otherwise, this seat would work as good as any other in the room for Yoshio. "My name is Yoshio Sanzo, by the way." He added. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."

Still here, still prepared to continue.
Mara could not have been more embarrassed at what was happening. Only shortly after she had parted ways with her antagonist, somebody seemed to have taken it upon themselves to defend her honour. While she imagined his heart was in the right place, or at least she hoped so, this was not what she wanted. She had wanted to go mostly unnoticed, and now brawls were starting for her sake. People were going to talk about this. They were going to talk about it and ask why it happened, and the best source of information was her. Now her family situation was doubtlessly about to be the crowning gossip of the group. She wondered if it wouldn't have been better to just assault the man herself. That way, she could have gotten some catharsis before this all became a big incident.

Just as expected, somebody inquired into the issue as she passed them by. They were probably just concerned, but Mara deeply wished they just hadn't asked. One might think the logical thing to do in this situation was not to tell the whole truth, but Mara just wasn't that type of person. Someone had asked, and she was going to answer, wholeheartedly and truthfully. "I would hazard a guess that he is, or is related to, one of the victims of the embezzlement scandal my father confessed to perpetrating." She told him flatly. It might sound like she didn't bat an eyelid at saying so plainly, but her heart shook as she spoke the words. It would not be unexpected for someone to know what she was talking about just from saying that. It was a good nine years ago, but it was a fairly high profile military scandal. It had been discovered that someone was stealing funds meant to pay soldiers stationed in remote regions of Gallia. Before a full investigation could be launched, her father, Kieran Samaria, had publicly confessed to perpetrating the scheme and plead guilty before the court. It had been a huge embarrassment to the military, and they had jumped at the opportunity to divert attention from their failure to see the problem by painting her father as a villain. "Please, do not make an issue out of this. I do not wish for this to become more of a problem than it already is." She asked of the tank commander. She did not enjoy being harassed in the slightest, but aside from not wishing to make even more of a scene, the truth was that this man had a legitimate grievance. Multiple soldiers, all of low rank and generally from poor backgrounds, had suffered due to being severely underpaid. It was only fair that they were angry, even if neither Mara nor, as she believed, her father were truly responsible. At the end of the day, she just wanted it to buried, so she might move on.

@DeadDrop @Conscripts
For some of the students, getting into uniform was perhaps considered to be dressing up in a certain form. That was not the case for Yoshio Sanzo, who was trading his usual preened suits for a mere uniform. It didn't matter much to him, but it did make him wonder about the others around him. Chihaiten was not an elite school like UA, which made him wonder if he would stand out compared to a lot of its student base. It was hardly unheard of for less well of students to attend UA as well, but he always pictured it as the destination of choice for anyone with a mind for prestige, and those would no doubt be people in the same social circles he tended to travel in. It was for that very reason that he had decided against trying for UA in the end. Although he certainly had plenty of friends in high places, a few of which had claimed they would sooner die than accept a placement of lesser value than UA, Yoshio was one to appreciate a certain humility of circumstances. He did not aspire to be the greatest and most prestigious graduate there ever was, nor did he value his education so little as to dump himself in the trashiest school in the country, and so Chihaiten provided an appealing middle ground. Middle ground was something the Sanzos appreciated well.

Yoshio was mildly surprised to find so many people chatting away spiritedly upon arriving in the hall. He tended to favor groups of much more low-key speakers, so he felt slightly out of his element here. The only time he spoke so fervently was when he debated politics or similar subjects, and those moments tended to be few and far between outside of discussions with his own father. Without a word, Yoshio assumed a seat in the hall. He would quietly await the start of their introduction to Chihaiten, after which his career as a professional hero could begin in earnest. He did not look it, but he could barely stand to await such a prospect.

Whatever you do, don't put them in 3-D.
I did a thing.
