Tohru's School of Wizards and Witches!

Magic is continuing to decrease at a steady pace. Scientists all over the world are working in unison to understand why magic is suddenly decreasing, witches and wizards are performing rituals of large scales to call the Ancients but they do not answer they're calling. Cities and towns have begun reserving bunches of mana for the populace, walls have been built around major towns and cities as mysterious beings have been forming around the earth killing whole towns and magical creatures. Alongside this the faeries have been silent, their constant loud noise and carefree personalities are silent for the first time in the world and it's scaring everyone.

Though in the midst of all this chaos, you feel a sudden surge of power that you've never felt. For some reason your magic is now more potent, you can cast the most advanced spells that you've never been able to cast. Why? Soon after you discover this you receive a letter from an old wizard. A wizard that has existed since the magical war and now he is calling you to his side. What do you do?

A woman flies down from the sky, landing as she calmly walks over to you and as she stands in front of you she hands you a letter that smells of flowers. "It's urgent. " She says with a quiet voice as she turns, suddenly disappearing in a dramatic flash.

The letter reads...

We are in a dire need of strength, of magic. And you out of all people have been chosen to hold a power that has never been seen before. A mysterious entity has given you an immense power and has chosen you to be his warrior, though the very entity that has given you that said power is extremely dangerous and evil. This entity, this evil being is not known but he is the reason why you lack magic. This mysterious entity has been draining your mana for years keeping himself alive with the magic of others. We think that after all magic has disappeared that this entity will possess your bodies and claim you as his warrior, forcing you to fight for him and possibly take lives and destroy cities. To stop this from happening you have been invited to be protected by a powerful magician known as, Tohru. Under his protection, he will teach you how to manifest your power to make it your own, to protect yourself from the unknown, from the evil that has been lurking ever since your birth. If you do accept, prepare yourself, pack and inform your family. After that simply rip the letter and you'll be transported to the mansion where Tohru currently resides.

Tohru's School of Wizards and Witches!

A war raged on earth, between magical and nonmagical beings as they fought over power differences, abuse, and the like. Flames of war spread over the world rapidly seeking into the minds of many until one day a majestic hero strides into the battlefield. With only a sword of light in hand, he quickly stops the war between the magic and nonmagic. Only two centuries after he is a legend across many countries, his face scattered into statues, his story written into books, and his sword lost. Today the world is at a utopian stop, peace overrides society. Magics and nonmagic have become one, science and magic coinciding with each other as it speeds the world into technological wonders. Races of magic have become welded into normal human life, magic fuels everything as natural resources have become scarce. Though for some reason, the balances tip. An Old entity returns, rising from the dead, returning from the ruins of an old war and it seeks to destroy what Umanity has created. It seeks to drown this world in another war.

It is now 2032. Scientists from all over the world have noticed a decrease in mana regeneration within magical beings. As soon as this information was released a worldwide panic began. With the sudden rise of chaos, Leylines are now rapidly disappearing, storms are occurring and tension is rising. Magical Schools have shut down and magical usage in public has been banned. The world is at a sudden stop as no one knows whats going on, the ancients are silent, fairies are eerily quiet. Silence has blanketed the earth.

[- Traditional Magic -]
This type of magic requires extreme will and determination, users with this type of magic are restricted to long chants and ritualistic like preparation for the majority of there spells and usually require a vessel like a staff or wand to properly cast, though the outcome of these said spells are more potent than ones that rely on the Gauntlet.

[- Technology-Based Magic -]
The Gauntlet is the basis of technology-based magic. It is the very tool that allows magic-users to quickly cast a spell, with a simple swipe and either code and/or pattern a spell can be casted in an instant, though these spells are less powerful they can be quickly casted, unlike Traditional Magic.

The Gauntlet

The Gauntlet traces back to the magical war, after the first strike of the sword of light which decimated opposition a piece of the Warrior's armor which was the gauntlet fell off, armor continued to fall off the warrior's body as he struck the battlefield with sashes of light that rumbled and shook the earth. After the war, the warrior's armor was taken by powerful magic users who took separate pieces of the warrior's armor and kept them safe. The magician who took the gauntlet, however, began to immensely study its sources and power.

The Gauntlet radiated immense magical energy and surged power which came from unknown sources. Putting on the gauntlet increased the user's magical ability and decreased cast time which no object at the time could do! Decades after the discovery the magician now a former scientist that goes by, Yunoko Mio has yet to discover anything else.

Yunoko Mio frustrated and unable to discover anything else about the gauntlets properties gains an idea and creates a replica of the gauntlet. Through hard work and unending dedication, Yunoko was able to create a gauntlet which was able to cast spells at an extremely fast rate and increased the user's magical potential. Though nothing like the gauntlet which the warrior wore it still proved useful amongst the magical community. On the year 2025 the gauntlet was released to the public and became an extreme success and became popular amongst the magical community.

It was the very first step into Technological Magic.
