Her head tilted back eyes closed and she sniffed the air. “The Darklings are out hunting tonight... and Tyler is unarmed, defenseless he doesn’t know how to keep himself safe. Darkling Dinner in the making. We need to go after him.”

Aslynne’s eye turned up towards Lee, Ved and Abel. “You guys have your bikes right?” If they didn’t have their bicycles Aslynne contemplated asking Echo to catch up with him before Tyler got too far, but she wasn’t sure if the young woman would be receptive to the idea. With the scent of new Midnighter on the air, Darklings were out on the hunt. It was getting dangerous again, like when Danielle had started to get comfortable with going outside back when they were kids. She could feel the Slithers snaking out of their holes, and the Darklings stretching like tame house cats.
“This night is about to get fun...” She said with a less than pleasant smirk.
