To my fellow Americans: Happy 4th! Remember to drive carefully if you're out late, people tend to start drinking later in the evening.

"It took me a while, but I finally figured out that this isn't about me, about what I want. Not anymore. It's about keeping this city safe. And once you're dead, no one will ever threaten it again." -Cole Macgrath, Infamous.

When it's a good time to update but my work week has begun. It's not gonna be a huge update or anything so I just need a bit of time, but in advance here I'll let you know the general plan.

The group will split into two groups, one takes the roof to beeline to the driver compartment and take out the driver, while the other goes through the carriages to clear out shadows. Both will expect resistance.

It'd be helpful if you tell me which group you plan to join here too but if not we can deliberate IC.

Baron's going through the carriages.
As he closed himself inside the crate, Osamu took a deep breath. He never had liked tight spaces all that much, but he didn’t want to look like a coward by objecting. Even if there was a tightness in his chest that made it hard to breath, and he felt stuck inside the crate as he couldn’t move much. After a few moments he started breathing faster as the panic set in, but then he was able to distract himself. Pulling up his phone as best he could, Osamu typed in the desire of the sovereign.

>“Freedom to do as I like.”

The feeling wasn’t all too dissimilar to when he shifted to the metaverse normally, and it made for a good distraction from the cramped box, albeit a brief one. Then he felt the dry heat, which only served to make the experience within the box worse.

The arrival of the shadows made him tense further. Every instinct pounded in his chest to just kick the crate open and go mow them down. Get out of this tight box. His breath picked up a little, causing him to clasp a hand over his own mouth. Then, they left. He couldn’t relax. Osamu tried to focus on something, anything, to keep himself calm. A couple minutes passed before the train car started moving.

Osamu’s crate flew open after he finally got the signal, propelled by a sabaton. He took a moment to shake off the cramped feeling, trying to keep his composure as best he could. “Fuck… okay.” He gasped out, doubling over for a moment from the disorientation, as he took a moment to catch his breath before attempting to regain his regular, 'cool' demeanor.

After a moment, Osamu paused. He wasn’t normally one to question, nor one for a subtle approach. But there was one thing that crossed his mind. “If they’re gonna offload the train when we get there… why not just keep our heads down and wait a few minutes?” He asked, as he hefted his machine gun onto his shoulder. Just as he said that, he realized the implication that he'd need to get back into the crate for that, and decided to refocus on taking over the train to stay out of the box, ignoring his own point.“Not that I have any issue with raising hell."
The legendary quadruple.

Did everyone not see the update?

Things picked up in life a bit, wasn't able to write much. Also, Thanksgiving. Should be able to have something out either tonight or tomorrow morning.
Since putting two pairs of Disney characters in a given group brings it up to a minimum of 6 when you account for the islanders, why not split up Zac and Levi? If @Daxam is alright with that. Levi or Zac can go with Morgan, making sure no group is without a keyblade, and the remaining can go with one of the other two. Two groups of four, and a group of three.

Just figured I'd throw in my two cents. I'm good with whatever.
Paashi gave a grin as he heard how Childes confirmed that, not only was a workspace and materials provided, but it was open at all hours. No more working with half-rusted pieces of discarded metal, at least, not here. A soft “Yes!” and a pump of his fist was the response he gave.

As the newcomers arrived, and Paashi relaxed after nearly pulling out a spell grenade in surprise, he looked over the group carefully. They struck him as incredibly dangerous people, armed like reavers and likely with the skill to back it up, from how they carried themselves.

Looking around, he wasn’t the only person who figured they were dangerous. From the staff to his colleagues, it seemed that acknowledging them as a potential threat was nearly unanimous. Still, this was the Eon Tower, after all. The people here were supposed to be dangerous in one way or another.

Paashi watched as the dwarf lady stepped forward to look after at least one member of the staff, the head of the kitchens. And the other gentleman… Damian, was is? Stepped forward and asked if they’d been invited.

The reptilian Bellua didn’t step forward to look over the new arrivals, most of whom appeared to also be Bellua. He erred more on the side of caution, taking a step back as the others stepped forward. The tense air made Paashi think more of a hostage situation than a friendly welcome to the Eon tower.

Seeing as he had no idea what these people were going to do, Paashi decided that being prepared was better than being caught off-guard, and brought his hand over to one of his scant few Void spell grenades. Better to create distance fast and assess if something happened.

We got hotel room stuff going on rn.

Not sure if @Bacon wants a Hoshi-Levi collab. Also I think @Daxam said Zac has questions about the trench coat.

I'd be down for a collab if you are.
Levi looked over the hotel room, seeing the bed and the couch. He briefly lifted one of the couch’s cushions, confirming that it was a futon. As he mentally went over the sleeping arrangement, already resigning himself to sleeping on the floor, he turned towards Morgan.

Her question raised a good point, the Heartless were a problem and they were the only ones to solve it. He didn’t want to be the one to suggest the obvious answer, though. What happened to their home was truly awful, and Levi had made a choice to prevent it from happening again. But they couldn’t be everywhere at once, or rather, no one of them could. Which left one alternative.

The group had only just met back up, and they were still a man down. He sat on the couch for a moment, letting himself relax after the day’s events with a small sigh. It would only be a matter of time before someone else suggested it, so Levi decided to bite the bullet. “... If we split up, we can help multiple worlds at once. Besides, we all know Alias. I’d bet munny that by now, if there’s some way for him to leave that world with his keyblade, he’s found it.” Levi admitted, distressed at the necessary step if it meant preventing another Destiny Isle, but doing he best to hide that.

“No one’s going off alone, though. We’ve all seen what these Heartless can do, going alone would be suicide.” Levi stated bluntly. They were already risking trouble with splitting up at all, so he made clear how leaving alone was out of the question.
“All the more reason to get moving.” Osamu said, slamming his black steel sabaton into the side of one amidst the crates, overturning it and allowing it’s contents to spill out. Gold, jewels, and cash poured out of the crate and off the car with a small cacophony of clattering and rustling.

At Hikari’s mention of the potential ramifications of that desire being fulfilled, he turned to her with a grim nod. “That tracks with how Chimeratic behaves. Everything from theft and vandalism to assaults. Not to mention, at least one killing.” The irony of him of all people saying this wasn't lost on him. But there was a difference from lifting petty shit or spray painting something dumb on a building... or beating in the face of someone who deserved it... as opposed to doing it maliciously.

“Someone’s gotta remind them they can’t just go around stomping on people. And I don’t see anyone else doing it.” He said, letting a small smirk cross his face as he finished brushing the discarded meta-loot from out of the train car. Sure, it looked like valuables. But at the end of the day, it was just a facade. One he’d take pleasure in breaking apart. Not to mention how awesome it would be to crush this so-called Kingdom, given what these people were doing.

After a moment, he stood upright, giving a confidant and excited smile. Despite the weight of the situation, there was one thing these Chimeratic goons weren’t counting on; just how badly Osamu figured he and these new teammates outclassed them. “Besides, a train robbery like this one’s gonna be absolutely badass!”
Still alive over here.
As he was addressed, Osamu gave a nod to Seiji as he pulled up the still very much panicking chatrooms of Chimeratic on his phone. “Yeah, I caught that alright. And now whatever semblance of a chain of command they’ve got is tearing their hair out trying to figure out who did what.” Osamu said with a slight chuckle, turning towards Seiji with a grin.

As Seiji offered to start taking questions, Osamu paused for a moment, thinking through everything Seiji had just said, and after a moment, he spoke up. “So, find out the desire of whoever’s causing problems in an area, head into their domain, steal everything that isn’t nailed down and break everything that is, and then what?”

The young man paused as he realized what Osamu had been getting at with his plan. “Wait, we’re hijacking more of Chimeratic’s shit?” Osamu said, as he realized what Seiji was getting at. His face split into a wide grin. “Then what’re we waiting for?” The young man asked energetically, rotating his head and gently cracking his neck.

Then he glanced over at the other members of the team, and suddenly remembered that he’d only met one of them so far. “Right. First thing’s first, the name’s Osamu Itchikawa. But here in the metaverse, call me Baron.” He said, as he flipped up his belt-fed machine gun to rest on his shoulder, but with enough care to not flag his new teammates with the barrel.
