This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.
My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Would anyone be against me creating this RP on a separate custom built forum? This site is experiencing technical difficulties.
Also, this RP is more of a universe than one story anyways. It might be a good fit for having it's own site with multiple forums for creating stories in multiple forums based off location.
What do you all think?

Ricardo watched as the blonde boy jumped into action to help the other girl. In all honesty, he had forgotten she was back there, having just went through the mind numbing torture himself. He hesitated for a moment, glancing between the doorway that was presumably the exit and the boy struggling with the barbed wires. I would be so easy to walk away, Ricardo thought to himself. He didn't know any of these people, but it would probably help to make friends in the long run.
Raising up from his sitting position, he made a straight line toward the wires. Side by side, he helped the boy open the wires wider and further into the hallway. They cut into his skin just as they did before, but at this point the pain was dull. His pain tolerance must have been pushed passed it's limit, leaving him emotionless to physical harm.
As he stood there, waiting on the girl, he wondered. What happened to Grey fellow? The guy seemed to be a strong willed person. Perhaps he already made it through before anyone else.

I'll think all that stuff out tomorrow. I'm planning on launching this RP by Wednesday, the first. Every month on the first, time will skip forward one year.

So they could be military or bodyguard/police robots? And maybe custom made robots?
Yes, I don't see why not.

Hmmm. Good question. I hadn't even thought about that yet. I think the answer would be, yes. There are artificial intelligences and humanoid robots. But they are completely subservient to humans, not like a separate selfgoverning race.

There would definitely be an arching plot. It is alluded to in the description of the Neutral continent. You could probably guess the general direction based on that, but I don't want to say anything concrete yet.
As far as race goes, "human" characters will be a mixed bag. But the continent built on magic has other humanoid races, such as elves and fairies.
