This is an important announcement:

This RP will officially kick off next month on the first, July the 1st. I'm aware that many people that live in the USA, like myself, may not be able to start a story immediately after launch that weekend because of 4th of July. That's fine, just no stories before then, that's all.

This does not mean that you should push this aside for a whole month and try to remember to check back in July. Instead, you can help prepare this RP for launch. As I discussed in an earlier post, I am looking to let you all write the descriptions on each of the regions within the continents, thus allowing you to directly affect the lore of this RP. Call dibs on your region of choice ASAP and then take your time writing a 4 to 6 paragraph description of the region. I previously said that you could post that here. You still can, or you can just post it directly into the respective region's board and edit it from there.

I've been tossing around the idea, and I have decided to offer moderator status to anyone that helps during this time of build up. Furthermore, if you write a region's description, you also get first dibs on being the person that reads through stories created in that region to shortly summarize them into one plot every month. You may also be offered moderator status for getting a large number of people to join and say that they were referred by you. If you think of any other way to help, I might offer moderator status for that as well. Now, just because I make you a moderator offer, does not mean you have to accept if you don't want the responsibility. I'm fine with help just for the sake of helping.

I've just posted a detailed description for the continent of Tekhnologia. Most of the information is just a Tekhnologia focused elaboration on the what was mentioned in "Backstory: Part 3", but there is some new information added in regards to climate and weather. You should have all the tools you need to create a great story for "Sentia".

@KRIEEEG A description for Hybridia is next on my hit list. I should have it up very shortly.

Actually, there is no reason to wait on me to finish the descriptions for each continent. You can get a good idea for what the continents are like by reading through the backstory posts: fifth-earth.freeforums.net/board/3/plo..

"Backstory: Part 3" is particularly informative when trying to picture what life on each continent is currently like.

You can also find a one sentence description of each region. So basically, all you have to do is expand on that sentence and add your own twist, plus add some region specific history. This is everyone's chance to directly effect the lore of this RP. I hope some of you take advantage of the opportunity.

I'm having fun creating this concept. I can't wait till it's totally ready!

Also, this site it a non-profit for fun project. Therefore, I have no legal issues with finding pictures off the internet to add flavor. BUT if any of you are artists or have some amazing pictures on your camera that you would like to share, you can submit them. Again, this is purely for fun, no money involved. This is purely voluntary. I can try to reward artists with in game boosts of some kind but that's about it.

Alright guys and gals. I've got an opportunity for anyone that is ready to get their creative wheels turning. I'm going to write the descriptions for each continent. In each description, I will very briefly touch on the regions within each continent. Using my brief description as a writing prompt, I would like to see what you can come up with to describe the regions within them. There are five regions per continent. So there are twenty regions for you to choose from.

Anyone interested? If so, call dibs on your region of choice right here in this thread. Also post your finished product here for my approval. I'm all about creative freedoms. So feel free to dive into further historical details, current day conflicts, and create a unique environment. I reserve the write to act as an editor to slim down anything as I see fit, but I won't be hacking and slashing unless you submit a novel. I'm looking for four to six solid paragraph descriptions.

If I haven't made the description for the continent that contains your region of choice yet, you may want to hold back on writing too much. But you can go ahead and call dibs now. I only want one person writing on one region at a time. If you completely finish one region, then you may claim and start on another one.

Let me know here in this thread if you have any questions. I appreciate everyone's help on this, 20 descriptions would be a headache to do all by myself. Plus, you may have fun writing up your first story for this RP. I may even reward helpers with some sort of in game prize.

Hey there. I know you have seen me working on another RP. That doesn't mean I will neglect this RP. Looking forward to everyone's next posts. We are steps away from chapter 2, and I'm still excited.
