I've just had idea for an amazing RP, based on a familiar concept. There are some nuances that could turn this into something fresh and exciting! Please don't be offended by the content; this is purely intended for entertainment purposes.
I don't know about you, but my biggest pet peeves in large RPs are the inevitable decline in participation and people dropping out without warning. I've just thought of a way to turn those situations around into something interesting.
In this RP, I will act as Satan's General, a made up demon that is in charge of commanding the demon army. I will also need one user to take on the role of the angels' General. All other users will join as either Archangels, High-Demons, or Humans. If I or the general of the Angel's becomes inactive, a high-demon or archangel can take our place. If a high-demon or archangel become inactive, their alliance will shift to the opposing side and become a foot soldier, to be controlled by an archangel or high-demon. When humans become inactive, a battle for their soul will take place between angels and demons. Inactivity will be determined by users that do not post IC for one month or OOC for two weeks. Each user can only control one character at a time. If you wish to return to the RP later, you must create a new character. All abandoned characters will become pawns.
As far as the plot goes, the dimensional barriers separating Heaven, Hell, and Earth are deteriorating. This has made it possible for demons to begin their attack on heaven, but first they must win the first battle ground, Earth. It is unclear whether the demons know what has caused the barriers to deteriorate, but regardless, it is the mission of the Angels to figure it out and reverse the process.
