I can't tell for sure yet. I've taken on some extra responsibilities IRL. I'll have to see if I can simply everything so that this RP is easy to manage. If I can't make it simple enough, I'll have to call it quits for now.

Give me till Monday (2 more days). I'll either move forward or cancel by then.

I've figured out how to simplify everything to a manageable degree. If you want to participate and have already created a character, please adapt your character to the new requirements. If you are just now seeing this RP, welcome!

In any case, make sure you read (or re-read) through all 0th and 1st posts, before you ask any questions. I'm about 80% done reorganizing everything.

I'm ready to give this RP another try. I'm going to be skinning it down QUITE a bit to make it even less statistic based, but not so much that there is no strategy. We need more writing and less math. I think it will take 2 hours from this moment to complete.

Hello Everyone!!


It sure has been a while. I apologize for abandoning this project a while back.

But I am back now. I really wanted to revive this RP, but as it was laid out before, I could understand why it didn't get going. There were just too many stats for me to keep track of for a Post-by-Play RPG. So I have re-imagined the concept, to make it much simpler and more story focused.

I have a different job now, giving me more time to dedicate to RPs as well. So, I hope you all reconsider joining! If so, please look through all the changes.

I guess I'd be okay with returning to this... I'm actually quite fond of how I made Brass, and he was put into my 'recycling bin' when this dropped off. But maybe you could put out a new Interest Check, just in case?

When acting alone in Free Play mode, you are not aloud to take on any "main quests", but you can take on "side quests".


Lone Human Adventurer: Greetings, you majesty. I have heard about your son losing his crown and I wish to help in any way I can.

King: I appreciate your offer, but I cannot accept.

Lone Human Adventurer: Why not?

King: Because I do not trust you.

Lone Human Adventurer: But I'm a human.

King: Yes, but I also don't trust people who aren't in groups of at least 2 or more. Now be off with you suspicious individual, before I call the guards.

Ah, yes, good point. I suppose I can remove that catch. Though, group play is still encouraged for Main Quests as it would take ages to complete a Main Quest on one's own.

Awesome! Yeah, things have been brought back in terms of complicates. It's much more intuitive I would hope. If you want to do a whole new character, you don't mind editing over the top of your old one do you?

EDIT: I think your old character fits just fine in the Tactician class.

And this is more of a nitpicky suggestion, but is Dexterity the stat related to the strategic skills? Judging by the current affinities listed, wouldn’t something like Cunning be a more appropriate name?

I was using the first of these to definitions when refering to the word dexterity:

Definition of dexterity
(plural dexterities)

1 :mental skill or quickness
2 :readiness and grace in physical activity; especially :skill and ease in using the hands manual dexterity


I do see your point though. If someone wants to second your opinion, I'll make that change.
