Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Haha! Well I've changed the items' names to make them more gender neutral. That's about as good as I can get it. :)

I know Rin is having trouble due to bumping into high level Pokemon. So I have added some new items to the Poke Mart that can help with this. And of course, I'm chuckling a little to myself, because I don't think Rin wants to wear the one designed to help out her situation.

LOL
Karrablast took a massive hit, but with a strong set in it's jaw, it got back on it's feet. Liz smiled to herself at this Pokemons sheer grit.

"I am going to be honest Hephaestus, I wasn't actually planning on capturing this pokemon. But after seeing how strong he is, I think he will make a fine edition to our team!!" Chimchar grunted his agreement, Liz took out a pokeball and tossed it at the clamping pokemon.

The Pokeball flew toward Karrablast. He wanted to turn and run, but he was still too injured from the Ember. The ball hit and then brought him inside with its red light.

It then fell to the ground and began to twitch back and forth.

And! Wait....

Ding! Finally, he had accepted to his fate. Challenging trainers all day long, he knew that he would eventually be caught.

Result: That Was Close!

Nicholas (Nick) Dalton

Mission: Lost Necklace
Clearbrook Town: Ski Resort

Nick's gaze was pulled to a figure in the distance. It was a small girl in purple and black outfit. Despite her coat, she seemed to be freezing. Sure, Nick and Inari were cold as well, but at least they had the help of Litleo to keep them warm. As the small framed girl got closer, she began to speak. Her words were very understandable.

"H-hello... M-my name is... Luna... D-do y-you mind if I... Warm myself up?" she asked in a polite, freezing tone.

"Sure, no problem." Nick then turned to his Litleo. Litleo bounded across Nick's body so that he could stand right between the two humans. The flame on his head wasn't exactly indoor heating, but it would have to do for now. "...and my name is Nick. That is Inari."

We've been out here all night looking for a lost necklace. It was supposed to be a simple C-Class mission. But with all this snow, we've gotten our butts kicked. Isn't that right Inari!?" Nick was trying to keep a positive attitude, despite their miserable situation.

"...You're Two Wins to Two Losses. That's nothing!" Throwing Olotah's pokéball ahead of them, Rin raced forward. Swiping the standard pokéball out of the air as it released the Painter Pokémon, Rin used their other hand to try and stretch their binder. Rin definitely wasn't supposed to excerise in it, but dammit! This was important! "Come on, Olotah! We've got work to do!" The Smergle nodded cheerily. If only he had time to capture his trainer's ferocity in art. It truly was a force of nature on its own right. Then again, for all the naive pokémon knew he had simply mistakenly assumed the two were going to battle. 'Maybe this work would be artistsic?' With renewed excitement Olotah jumped forward, happily waving their tail as he did.

Dusk was approaching quickly. Rin and Olotah were moving swiftly to destinations only Rin knew.

That's when they saw it, a wild Girafarig. He stood on a hill beneath a tree, eating leaves off the lowest handing branches. The sunset was behind him and made it to where his entire body was a silhouette, truly a magnificent sight.

Girafarig's attention wasn't blinded by the sun however. Not only was his tail scanning the area for threats, he was looking around as well, in between bites. He was being very careful indeed.

Liz was excited, a wild Karrablast just stood up and challenged her to a battle. Anxious for a battle, Liz grabbed her pokeball.

"Alright, Hephaestus, let's get stronger together buddy, show me the fire!!" Chimchar appeared fire building in his mouth.

Liz sent out her Chimchar. The wild Karrablast knew he was at a disadvantage on typing, but that would not stop him. He had boldly faced other trainers with Fire-type Pokemon in the past. He had faith in himself!

As Chimchar began to build up his ember, Karrablast began charging forward, ready to hit hard with a set of Fury Swipes. That's when Chimchar's Ember was unleashed. Karrablast did his best to jump out of the way, but he had gotten in too close. The embers hit him straight on. He fell to the ground in pain and looked back up with determination in his eyes.

Result: Fire! Fire!

Thanks you two. You're sweet. We're all on the same page. That wasn't an apology. Just an update. :)

Today I had a lot to do to get ready for the holidays, plus a four hour drive to see the family. I'm exhausted and turning in super early tonight. So I'll probably wake up early as well. I'll reply to stuff when I wake in the morning.
"Woah, hang in there girl!" Just how many over-leveled Furrets would Rin run into? They could feel their gut twisting seeing Anusobeket half taken out by just one attack. Rin wasn't used to losing and they certainly didn't like the feeling of it! This was supposed to be their journey to becoming Champion! Weren't they supposed to mow down Sentrets and Rattata rather than encounter two Smergles and two Stalker Furrets? "If this is your idea of humbling me, it won't work," Rin yelled petulantly to the universe itself. Rin brought their face back from its position of staring at the sky to look at the battle in front of them. "Use Water Gun again, Anu!" If Rin was going to lose, it'd be with the same stubborn fire they always had in their eyes. They would not be forced into learning a lesson any time soon. Regretfully.

Anu shot of another Water gun. Just before the attack could hit, the Furret put both hand beside her face, crossed her eyes, and stuck out her tongue, and then dissipated back into the grass. She would reappear moments later, right in Anu's blind spot. From there she unleashed a powerful barrage of Fury Swipes, while leaning her head back and looking away comically.

Result: Ouch!

Liz and Bayleef both ran excitedly over to the Pokeball. Liz picked it up and smirked at it. She patted Chloris on the head and recalled her into her pokeball.

Good job my friend, we got a new partner, I think the name Enyo is very fighting for this trouble maker. She thought to herself as she finally got to enter the dry grassland.

The sun was getting lower in the sky as Liz traversed the dry lands. The sun still beat down, but at least it was beginning to cool off a little bit.

On a nearby rock, a young Karrablast sat, as if he was waiting for something. Then he saw it, a Pokemon trainer! The little guy puffed up and stood, bold and tall. Defeating trainers that walk this path, that was his favorite pass time.
