Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Thanks, I'm glad my heads attached even if my eyes don't get the details I need. XD

No problem. :)
So which magic category would envy have? =)

Magic Manipulation. Look at the chart one more time, and look right under the title of the chart. You'll find all the sins listed above their corresponding character style.

Alright everyone,

I'm completely done with the 0th OOC post, so please take a double take for the two new sections toward the bottom.

Also, I've added/edited a few characters in the "Pandemonium" post in the Characters section. So check that out when you get the chance too.

I'll be making my first IC post as my "Pride" character either today or tomorrow. After that, I'll add more minor characters.

Once all our characters have their introductory IC post, I'll start making Plot Moving Posts.

And feel free to battle minor characters in your introductory posts if you want. Just don't exceed a character's "Mob Max/Post".
Edit: seriously I feel so bad. I can't believe I missed those details. Are you positive you don't want me to edit it?

Don't feel bad. It's not that big a deal. If it was, I would have asked you to edit it. Besides, I've grown attached to the new direction that was created. Lol

Just stay vigilant going forward. And never take my criticisms personally. They're meant to be constructive, not destructive. :)
So@Balthazar007 wasn't sure if foresight applied to like... Mimi's vision only or if someone used foresight, all Pokemon could see it. I try to keep as close as possible to the games, and i know that it affects the opponent regardless of what pokemon uses it.

The Japanese translation is 'Mind Read' so I'm thinking that only Mimi can see the opponents clearly, versus the rest of the Pokemon in the room. But Kovi has compound eyes and I figured, would be able to adjust to the darkness more than other Pokemon or something.

I decided not to control the thieves because honestly I think it's funner if you do, hope that's okay! So you can maybe determine whether the attacks hit or not or what Pokemon the thieves have. I kinda want to like... just be surprised with their next move, if that makes sense. XD

I read this before actually reading your IC post. You did control the thieves a bit. If you read the last paragraph of my post, you'd see that getting in and out without being noticed was their plan, regardless of who was in the room with them. They shouldn't have been surprised by the "three kids" being in there, and they definitely shouldn't have needed hostages.

I'm not asking you to change anything however. I can roll with this. I'll just have the two you spoke for be "less intelligent lackeys". I'm going to have the third thief (the leader of the group) scold them for loosing their cool and deviating from the plan. He's going to order a retreat with whatever they already have in their bags (which is about half the exhibit, the most valuable half).

That works for me. I want to be highly involved in this little exchange. I'll make my next post tonight before bed. I work a double tomorrow and probably won't be able to post again till Sunday morning. Hopefully, @iKatamalicious gets a few posts in on these thieves.
Sorry for the delay, I'm done with finals (Yaaay I passed) and now I got my birthday coming up which is exciting.

Congrats!

Pandemonium is the main group that opposes the rule of the Vrathe City government. They are made of like minded nihilists from all races. They are active in all districts and operate in independent cells. Despite their shared goals and ideals, each cell may have their own approach, some more drastic than the others.

The Destruction

This cell is based somewhere on the east coast, but occasionally ventures inland to attack the Downtown and Governing Districts. Their strategy is simple; destroy the infrastructure: buildings, shipyards, roads, and more. Their MO doesn't include attacking individuals and taking lives, but they aren't afraid of collateral damage.

The Disruption

This cell operates out of the central districts of Vrathe. Their mission is to open the minds of the masses to the injustices committed by the corrupt government. They appear at political events, public squares, and anywhere they can get their message heard. They are known for inciting riots, kidnapping public figures, destroying public property, and anything else they can do to bring attention to their cause.

The Discrimination

This cell is based in the North Western inland border and it's influence is widely spread throughout the city. They are fueled by the discrimination and misrepresentation of ogres, goblins, and other non-human & non-elf races. They have had enough of being looked down upon, and they have vowed to wage war against anyone who discriminates against their kind, starting with the Vrathe government.

The Disorder

This cell is based along the Southern coast and can be found in any poor neighborhood. The main complaint of this group is the unequal treatment of the lower class. They are particularly heated on the subject of government corruption by wealthy business owners. They are known for using gorilla warfare tactics against unsuspecting upper class elitists. Ambushes and kidnappings also follow their MO.

@prettydrops@TheForgottenArc@iKatamalicious

As the crowds walked about merrily, a devious plot was under the works. The plan had been months in the making. Everyone was in their places, and it was finally time to follow through.

All at the same time, the lights were short circuited; every exterior window in the evolutionary stones exhibit was covered in a thick oily substance, and the garage style doors were dropped to section off this particular wing of the museum.

Under the cover of darkness, with the help of night vision goggles, the three thieves went to work. Each one of them would silently take as many stones as possible, starting with the most valuable ones. They would use the keys they copied the week before to open the plexiglas cases instead of trying to smash them open. They had all the time in the world to do it too, because they had already disconnected the backup generator as well.

The only other people in the exhibit were three teenage tourists (Dan, Indy, and Margo). The three experienced thieves would be out the side door before any of them even knew what was happening. At least, that was the plan...
@prettydrops

I've updated the 1st IC post to reflect the passage of time and to include the Pewter City theme music.

@iKatamalicious@TheForgottenArc@prettydrops

I'll be making my post about the thieves tomorrow sometime. Probably in the evening around this time. Feel free to post as much about the museum as you all like till then.
