Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Underground Hideout

Goda knew the Han and Niko would come. They were on a mission for answers. The real estate offices above would be the first place Han would want to check. Might as well make it easy for them, he thought, as he sat in the corner of the room.

He watched four of his underlings play a 2v2 game of eight ball. Counting them and himself, there were a total of ten men and women in the room. None of these hired goons were a part of the team he brought with him however. They were from the local branch. The real killers were all outside. Two were on the other side of the door, the entrance to this basement hideout. The rest secured the perimeter, some hiding in the shadows, others in plain sight.

If they somehow managed to make it past the assassins and down into the basement, they would be in no shape to take on Goda himself. He would finish them both off himself. Laoguai had given him permission to kill Han, an opportunity he couldn't let escape. Sure Laoguai might be a little upset at first, but in the long run, he would be less distracted without his troublesome son running around... These were the things Goda told himself, as he scratched at the leather sofa's armrest.
@Balthazar007 These time skips will catch them to where Han and Niko are right now, correct? Just wanting to make sure I'm tracking events correctly.

Actually. Han and Niko are two weeks in the future. Their time skips are going to pass you by a week. To the day before the big bad is supposed to arrive on earth.

So you have a weeks worth of in-game time to go through for your current mission, before everyone is brought together.

EDIT : I take that back. They are still 3 weeks behind you two. Therefore, their 3 week time skip will simply catch you up. I'll push back the arrival date of the big bad a few days then, however long you two need to complete your mission.
@BladeSS4 Nice to see a post from you, amigo! I have one request however, could you do add a time skip to your post?
It would be a montage of the first week of training, from Bakuto's point of view. In this first week, there would have been more swimming, mountain climbing, and fighting wild animals (dinosaur sized animals). You can even include sparring matches with the other NPC trainees.
@Joshm First of all, nice post. You're obviously a good writer. Secondly, Wailmer isn't actually indigenous to that area, BUT it would make sense that it could just be far from it's home. Wailmer can travel long distances, so I'll allow it.

Do you want a run down of the Pokemon in Puget Sound, WA? Or no, since you're already traveling to a new location?

Again. Nice post!
@Joshm
I see absolutely nothing wrong with this character sheet. Very well done. You may post it to the Characters tab and then post in the IC tab, whenever you like! Glad to have you on board!
I like this idea a lot. Could I get some information on the starter options/wild pokemon lines in a handful of areas? I'm mainly interested in Anchorage, Vancouver and New Orleans

@Balthazar007 Well, if you become busy and can't by the weekend, I will do something. I can do the input.

Yeah, it's looking like tomorrow. That's my next day off. I'm on break from work now and need the down time.
@Double Are we? Nothing from @Balthazar007 at this time?

I was hoping for a post from one of our others in the other story arc, but you two don't have to wait on me. On the other hand, if you would like a GM post in your story line, I'll happily put one up tomorrow morning or Thursday. 😁👍
I thought age 30 was typical college age in the RP canon?

30 is the typical age, but it seemed you were wanting to have her start early. So I was compromising and saying that she could have started college as early as 26. So in her bio, when you said she started college at 18, I was just suggesting she start at 26 instead. Nothing else about her bio needs to change.

30 is only a set in stone requirement for becoming a Pokemon Trainer.

Also, it's worth noting that college and education in general in this world would typically be harder and take more time to complete than in our world.
@Wayward It is good to see your post, a very solid introduction. Could you do me one favor however? Can you post your character sheet into the IC tab? Also, when you do, can you update her starting college age from 18 to 26?

That would still be an early age for starting college in this world.
