My fire-like eyes gazed at the merchant town from the distance, the heat radiating off of the town was certainly attractive enough for me to enter. My tail dragged across the ground and my wings were folded a bit behind me. For the moment, I was dressed in my casual attire of brown robes and trousers. As I browsed briefly over stalls and stores, observing passing strangers too, my height was much greater than any of the humans here, being a little over 7 feet.
Drakkens are beings that result from the mergence/fusion of a willing dragon and human, sacrificing their souls and individualities for their souls to become the homogeneous mixture that is a Drakken. Drakkens are technicly a new being, but resemble both qualities, memories, and skills of their former counterparts. For instance, if the human that made the Drakken was good with swords or magic spells, then so would that Drakken, additionally, if the dragon that made up the Drakken can breathe fire, so too can the Drakken. However the more complex and rare a skill/ability is, the more likely it will not be transfered to the Drakken, or modified to some degree once transfered. A Drakken on the surface may seem like a singular conscience, but it is driven by two consciences collectively, any attempt at mind control or telepathy may cause chaos in mental conditions for both the Drakken and the being who is using such mind powers, as the collected conscience can cause an enigmatic disruption or chaotic factor to such abilities. Drakkens are not perfect humans, nor perfect dragons, and can shift between both their 'human' and 'dragon' form at any time. Like ability transfering, their forms often resemble the originally counterparts that make up the drakken, however there are differences that are influenced by the other half. For instance, the human form will often possess reptilian eyes, horns, wings, tails, claws, and/or other draconic features in any combination, While the dragon form may have a humanoid appearance, or even variations in over all design such as size differences, color scheme, scale type, etc.
Powers/qualities:
Passive ascension of physical abilities such as strength, speed, and stamina compared to the average human, this trait is most noticeable in the human form, also increases senses. Like all dragons fire/heat immunity is also another trait, and the luminating eye property that is common with many dragons which offers night vision. Minor regeneration which can allow major injuries and limb loss to regrow over time, as well as loss of scales or scars. However the regeneration process takes weeks or months depending on the wound or limb loss, and cannot save him from fatal wounds unless he was kept alive by some other source long enough for the regeneration to fix it. (if he was missing a heart that could take a month and a half.). Timeless, Dragons are not impaired by age and are immortal against time, so dying naturally is an impossibility for them. Scales are naturally as durable as solid iron, which can make them difficult to damage. In his human form his wings and tail are the only scales he has access too, so for additional protection armor is necessary. If he finds weather unfavorable, or because too stressed or angered, his body will heat up by use of creating fires inside of him, making him as hot as a furnace. His blood will become kept at boiling temperatures and upon touch can mildly burn and irritate skin to some degree, though the damage wouldn't be major just painful. Additionally while in this state, water will evaporate off of him, which can be a weakness as the steam can blind him. Heating up his body also expends much of his energy as he is naturally cold-blooded, even in his human state.
Production and manipulation of fire, usually a fire breathe. Has a variety of others methods of fire manipulation as well, spawning flames off or in his body he can create fireballs and other such methods, and can even change pressure and heat of the flames to some extent.
Transforms between human and dragon forms. Partial transformation such as half-dragon state, or temporarily shifting his body like his hand becoming a dragon's head can also be used like this. His dragon form oftens drastic improvements in physical qualities (other then mobility) but suffers from being a bigger target and while much more destructive, its easier to battle a singular opponent in the human form, the human form also of course allows use of his weapons. Has little control over his full dragon form, and doesn't willingly go into that form as of now.
Toxic breathe which can cause nausea within those that breathe it and can disort senses in prolonged exposure, similar suffocation effect like carbon monoxide in high concentrations in small closed in areas and rooms. Tends to be flammable. Immunity to most (but not all) toxins, acids, venoms, and pathogens. Only the most extreme or strong enough blights mentioned can effect him. He can filter through toxic air chemicals such as his own toxic breathe. His blood can be processed into an almost universal anti-venom or kill certain biological toxins, with the right person who knows how to use and mix it. Teeth and claws contains venom similiar to a komodo dragon's, the venom causes hemmorage and slowly kills the victim, however it is easily treatable and won't be fatal until a week, but while in effect wounds won't stop bleeding and fatigue may plague those infected, those with high immunities can easily beat off the cure within a few days before it gets fatal. In his half dragon and full dragon state his saliva is corrosive, capable of erroding weak rocks, soils, and pure common metals (such as iron and copper, but not steel, silver, or bronze. Alloids and rare metals don't get corroded.), and can eat away flesh, however flesh will start to have major dissolve wounds after 2 minutes of remaining in contact with the liquid, so its easily avoidable.
Weaknesses: His pride. Cold weather (Forces him to expend energy to heat himself up, can last about 5 minutes in weather conditions at freezing point or below.) Ice and other cold based attacks.
Appearances:
In his human form he constantly has crimson wings and a long tail to match with a barbed point. Both wings and tail stick out of armor. His eyes constantly glow like dim candle flames.
5 meters tall, however tends to be hunched in this form so he appears 4 meters tall instead. Used to have a set of armor for this form but that armor had been destroyed. Half dragon state is much easier to control then his full dragon state. He tends to get more brutal in this state. Scales tend to be a bit weaker in this form, though fully clad, his scales are more like leather then iron in this state, unlike the scales he has in his human form on areas like the tail, and his entire body in his full dragon state. His scales also become more black then red, with wing membrane and underbelly becoming red. Despite his larger size he is actually swifter in this form both in the air and on foot, but he his much more vulnerable to physical damage as his scales are barely stronger then human skin, and he lacks any sort of armor to make up for it.
30 meters long, on all fours with its neck raised it is 20 meters tall. Has yet to be able to use this form properly as going into this transformation will force him into an enraged, rampaging state, destroying friend and foe a like in blind destruction. His Outer scales turn black instead of red, and his underbelly scutes become plated crimson.
Bio: Reclusive of his past, little does he reveal about himself other then his age. He is well skilled with his Axe as it has been designed to channel his firepower into it, The axe is also large enough to be used in his half-dragon state. He is easily angered and is very prideful of himself and his draconic origins. Aside from pride he respects honor above all else. Unless angered or finds speaking necessary, he is not a man of words. Values the ideals of kinship and respects his allies, unless he finds them too inferior for him to fight alongside with, and too foolish or bothersome to train.
@Kit DewStein Alright I edited out a bunch of stuff. In arthorian legend kilgarrah is too op to include as it was supposedly the strongest, fastest, and most intelligent dragon, known for having psychic powers, master over fire, and his toxic powers, and may have dabbled a bit in wind powere as well. I'm going more Norse with the Chars backround so I'm cutting out Arthurian Myth entirely.
The idea comes from the legend of Fafnir from norse mythology, which was about a dwarf who became so greedy of his hoard that he turned into a dragon, however the dragon kilgarrah and knight Lancelot came from arthorian mythos.

Would anyone be interested in a RP on brynhildr in darkness/elfen lied. OCs include normal humans, dyclonists, witches, scientific experiments that would fit within at least one of the anime's, possibly cyborgs, also considering Tokyo ghoul as an additional option for OC's. A few exceptionally OC's that don't fall under those categories might be allowed, but if they are allowed there might be 1 or 2 others only as i might plan to do that. Also looking for someone to be the military as the antagonist. Not really sure the setting it may not be school. Though I think for basics, should be two groups. The 'hunters' who work for the military that capture the witches, ghouls, dyclonists, and such, and a party for the protagonist. Hunters can be dyclonists and witches and other militaristic soldiers and experiments. If ghouls are added they cannot be in the military, instead they are either put in the protag group or are rogue, ghouls would be hunted by hunters as something to exterminate rather then captured, unless whoever is controlling the head of the military decides to study them. Most cyborgs, if added, will be on military, only exceptions are those that rebelled and either go rogue or join the protag party.
