Jackal "Ventmaw" Westari

"You are fantastic."

"You are BIG."

Jackal's first interaction with his coworkers was of the two girls who complimented his form. One was a human, that much he could tell, humans were the easiest to remember and identify. The Gorgas universally respect their diplomacy from the federation. The other girl, he wasn't sure what sort of alien she was, but he at least knew he may have saw at least one of her kind before either in public or from his former work. Being complimented so was a first to him. Aside from the horrid treatment that Jackal tolerated from the prison guards, his clan from long ago rarely complimented one another aside from a simple "Good Job" or "Honor be with you.", if a reptile could blush Jackal would certainly be as red as an apple. Not knowing how to accept or deal with such compliment, he merely flicked his tail and nodded, looking down and exchanging a short stare between the two and spoke "Thank you." His voice matched his appearance well, monstrous and brutish, with a deep tone of voice. Surprisingly he spoke English rather well and clearly aside from his deep and orc-like voice.

He noticed some other stranger who had exchanged a rather confusing look upon him after she shouted something about a dragon. He wasn't sure if she was fearful or amazed by his presence, perhaps both. But seeing as she had nothing further to say to him he didn't spend too much focus upon her. It was rather embarrassing in the back of his mind that so many people looked upon him, as if humilating his lateness. However he avoided the thought and listened further to what was being said. He had gathered of their mission to work with a federation, which caused his eyes go wide. Most of the criminals here were reluctant to join, but Jackal was instantly on board. Not only was this escape from his imprisonement and execution, but he was going to work with the same federation that showed his people diplomacy and the stars. Sure rarely did Gorgas take that opportunity, but respect was shared to them all the same. For a moment, Jackal thought that he didn't deserve this opportunity, and rather deserved to die in such a dishonorable way for his criminal acts and unworthy past. Though his attention was brought when someone brought up the 'micro-chips' in their skulls. Jackal wasn't tech-savvy. For all he knew, technology and spacecraft is the same as magic and witchcraft, he didn't reason with how they were able to do that and accepted it as a supernatural, not questioning type of mentality, as if whatever sort of machinery or tech is claimed to do whatever, he will believe it and head the warning.

His thoughts were broken at the rise of a prison riot. Chaos ensuing in the back round as they were prepared to embark on the designated ship. Jackal followed without hesitation, however he realized the danger of the situation and took position somewhere in the middle of the evacuation line, mostly leaning towards the two girls that complimented him earlier. He had new allies now, whether they were friends or not, it is an unspoken agreement that allies should protect and assist each other in this cause. He watched another human flip a rather strange looking race of a prisoner to the floor with success, before seeing some other prisoner, a tall and muscle bound human charge to the group as well. Jackal was still cuffed, so instead of using his hands or legs, his neck lunged down and his jaws quickly clamped down on the prisoner before he could even see it coming. Blood would dart from his neck as the Gorgas lifted the prisoner who weighed at least 260 lbs of pure muscle off of the ground, mangling and crushing the neck with nothing but teeth and jaw-power of him in a rather sickening 'snap'. The prisoner stopped his struggle and screaming rather quickly as the Hellkite dropped the corpse, who's head was barely hanging on by threads of meat and bone at this point. Jackal's mouth was now very well stained with dripping blood from his saurian lips and lower jaws to his sharp jagged rows of large teeth and canines. The beast kept walking as if it nothing happened, and in an attempt of secrecy he had swallowed a bit of the human's flesh that he had obtained under his forked tongue during the biting.
@PlatinumSkink I'll try to get my post up soon, I was too occupied in some other rps.
During this whole commotion, I had been asleep over my desk, and I had put a book over my face to hide it. For awhile I was rather silent but after the teacher left I started to snore. In the current position I was, my head was hanging back over the chair with the book still covering it, my arms hanging to the sides and my feet spread apart loosely pressing against the stands of the desk. I seemed rather comfy, at the very least. My tie was hanging out of place from the shirt.
@Hawlin

Well dig hasn't stated that she's out of the RP yet so maybe something just came up and shell be back on sometime later hopefully.

On that note, still here
@Hawlin

No idea. Should we just wait it out? Or at least start a role call?
Has my interest, ill make a dragon related character soon
@R31GN

Be careful with hooking up with a gorgas, when one asks if he could eat you in a relationship, the date tends to take it the wrong way and soon after there is a bloody mess later.
Jackal "Ventmaw" Westari

In the far back of the hallway of cell blocks, Jackal was confined in a small cell. Even in confinement he was restricted by metal devices. Multiple chains locked his wings and barbed tail against his back, two sets of large steel handcuffs restraining both the hands on his arms and wings, A headpiece that restricts vision and head movement, and an iron ball that burdened him down with heavy weight. He was sitting along the wall, leaning against it and looked up to the sound of footsteps. Three guards, two of which had shock batons and the third had brought a high-powered rifle, appeared in his obscured vision just beyond the bars of the cell. "They want this thing? what is it being brought to a circus?" asked one of the guards as they began to open the cell. "Wait we have to escort it?" Asked the other guard to the one wielding the gun. "Yes." Responded the armed officer, "Don't screw up."

The third guard protested "I aint getting near that...thing!" Jackal was a prisoner of good behavior since his confinement, never once has he resisted, or provided violence, yet his size and beastly appearance worked against him. To most of the guards, Jackal was a like a tamed crocodile. A beast that is seemingly peaceful but remains unpredictable and could easily kill its master. Jackal had gotten used to this treatment, he didn't complain or say anything to the guards. "Like before, 1607, Get up, no sudden movements." He said as the two other guards opened the cell. As jackal Exited, he could finally fully stand being free from the cell that couldn't support anything under 8 feet in height. It wasn't surprising to see one of the guards shiver in fear at the sight of the beast in its full height. "Get moving." The armed officer stayed behind Jackal with his gun at the ready, while the other two guards lead Jackal to the main event. Despite having an Iron weight strapped to his left leg, Jackal could still walk relatively fine.

Due to his obscure vision, He didn't see the door, and so Jackal's skull would bang the metal surface. The door could barely fit him from above the upper chest, so he had to crouch to get through. He was lead to a seat among the other prisoners. And once seated they would remove some of his restrictions.

They first removed the chains, slowly, unwinding his wings and tail. Once they were free, they removed the iron weight from his leg, which the two guards had some trouble due to the weight of the metal. And lastly, the headpiece, revealing his saurian head that was crowned in horns and bore crocodilian eyes that beamed of yellow. It didn't take a genius to figure that these other strangers he was seating with were also prisoners, however the rather well dressed stranger was a mystery to Jackal, since he had little to do with formal meetings and politics, but he knew this wasn't an execution.

The reptilian Monstrosity flexed his tail and wings to suffice for the freedom they now had. He was still kept in cuffs for 'safety' precautions, but this freedom of mobility was enough to satisfy him. His blue scales of keeled and plated formation looked like iron to the untrained eye, and even sitting down he dwarfed the others present in the room. It took him a moment to realize he must have been late, for reasons he couldn't control, yet he apologized with a simple bow to the head at the well dressed man who he assumed was the one who organized this. Strange politeness for a monster one would think. He kept silent and listened further to both the man he bowed to and his fellow prisoners.
Sorry for the delay, college testing is a bit of a hassle. After I'm done today and head home ill make Jackals opening and entrance
