Heads up, I plan to get the IC started either thursday or friday, which should give time for those still making sheets and any new people that wish to join. WHen we start I won't close off the rp to newcomers howeve it would be awkward if other gods just 'showed up' late in the game.
Tell you what, I have an idea. Maybe the cataclysm that ruined the world, following it my god enacted "the Silence" as punishment for their negligence, which forbade any god from interacting with the material world. Basically barred the gate between the material and the immaterial. At the beginning of the RP, the Silence has ended, and the Gods have returned. Allows the other gods some kind of initial reaction to him, and they can form small factions based on their opinions if the Silence was justified or not, and what effect it had on the world.
That actually sounds like a good idea. I'll incorporate that into the OOC in a little bit.
1. No, that's really the opposite of what I intended. Perhaps rather than being a born from Ragnarok like a "true" god, he just sort of... came into being. Nobody really knows why or when, but it was longer back than any living god can remember.
2. Sure.
3. Yeah, I guess that works. Gives me time to figure out what the hell it actually is.
1. Apologies. My problem with what your proposing is that A. This puts him drastically different then the rest of the pantheon, its a bother enough that he is far more distant then the rest of the Gods, and B. Everything essentially is linked to Ragnarok, even nonexistence, nothing, what could exist, and all that nonsense, the very concept of Ragnarok is as infinite as it is an enigma. Again, as a GM, and while this RP does encourage world building, there needs to be a sort of structure to follow in addition for each that contribute to the world building have a reason for why that is. The typical method for a God to be born is from a ragnarok shard, (Which I will detail more later.).
What I can compromise with this concept, is that he was the first God, perhaps born from a different method unlike the other Gods. And in the vast enigma that is Ragnarok, being the God of time he could have installed the concept in the world, as well as help essentially 'write' into Ragnarok the rules of physics and what not, and then helped bring into being the Next Generation of Gods.
However
Due to his distant nature and how the other Generations of Gods essentially 'took over' Your God has become nearly irrelevant and even if he tried to rewrite the world, change or erase the laws of reality, or other attempts of the such, the Other Gods altogether have grown far to powerful and in control for him to do so.
Alternatively, if were making a throw back to nordic/greek mythos, Being a progenitor of the Gods, The Gods eventually successfully rebelled your God and essentially 'banished' him from the world, only being in control of the time and thought domain, and as a result, becoming more distant then the other Gods. However he still has some potential to reality and making a manifestation.
1. I mostly intend for my god to have a weird perspective on the others. Something like "You're not the first, what makes you so special?" He has a low opinion of godhood as a phenomenon, and considers most other gods to be squabbling children. He doesn't have to be the only Elder God, but he should still be old.
2. Here's something else I came up with as a compromise. He knows all secrets and all mysteries. Whenever something is forgotten, he learns it. When knowledge is lost, he keeps it. When the truth is concealed, he discovers it. He doesn't know everything, but from most perspectives he's pretty damn close.
3. What he could do in conflict with other gods I actually think I'd like to leave more ambiguous, to suit his mysterious nature. His youngers are intimidated by him, not because of what he can do, but because they have no idea what he can do. And what they know he can, they don't know how he does it.

I apologize if this is contentious but this comment irked me. I'd just like you to know that your observation on the matter is neither correct, nor requested, nor appreciated.
#1. For a compromise, since you want that perspective, how about instead he wasn't born a god, but became a god? perhaps a demon or angel that went rogue, or a human that absorbed a Ragnarok shard. He isn't the same as the other Gods from the pantheon, and he technically earned his way to godhood, unlike the others who were merely always Gods. And as for age, following this theme the event could have taken near or at the start of the beginning of time as a angel or similar entity from another God, or from one of the first mortals.
#2. This is acceptable, but I stress that even with this ability he cannot know fully the thoughts of other Gods, to leave some sense of unpredictability that he can only guess at.
#3. As long as you follow the nerfing aspect I gave you in the previous comment, you can keep it a secret, but I have to stress that the method must only be possible in a very planned and calculative method, prone to backfire if it fails either by failed execution or the target was able to avoid it, and that the method isn't a permanent way to deal with a God, rather a temporary solution or a temporary seal. Also it can only be done if the target is in a physical manifestation, when their most vulnerable, as it would be rather broken if he could just do it when the Gods aren't being active. The characters won't have to know about it, but as a GM its only fair if I at least am aware of its potential and fallability so I can deem it playable and balanced for this rp.
Hmm, i have for some time wanted to join a god rp. Although the ones i've tried so far has all died.
For the previous ones i planned on being a warrior forge god, but i still hold some hope for one of the old RP's to return so i'll probably not be that deity. Although i'd really want to play that deity.
Thing is the dominion of 'knights' is already taken, so being a god of chivalry gets a bit weird there.
So i should do one of three options. Play the forge god. Screw the other rp which might never even come to be. Play some other god. A fire god? A god of giving random people practical advice? Walking around trolling them. Skip this rp, in a few RP's already, although one is low maintenance and another is probably dead.
I'll put in a sheet for my deity. This however doesn't mean i'm joining. Only that i think about joining and would like an opinion. (Also, the sheet is for that old RP, ignore things that don't fit in.)
Name: Ha Nicknames/Titles: lord of the forge, master of arms, steel personified, chivalry's father.
Gender: Ha sees himself and holds the form of a male.
Age: About 11'500 years old.
Base Appearance: static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/.. Ha, has the appearance of a massive knight clad in black steel armour, told to be taller than the tallest pine in the forest, he wields great strength in combat, but is also intelligent. Armed with a massive sword which never cooled after its forging, and never will. How Ha looks beneath his harness is unknown and non who have tried have ever succeeded to persuade him to show. Neither through words or martial prowess.
Other Appearances: Ha isn't known to take on any different appearances. But can change his size.
Personality: Ha is a stout individual, that values his solitude, he often resides within his forge and contemplate upon his next wonder he will construct. When he leaves his forge, he commands without doubt and demands the very best of each of his subjects. Failure is frowned upon and to fail Ha himself is often punished, at times even with death. He is contemplative and resourceful in nature, never rushing into a situation. Ha values honor and chivalry, and as such gives those who live by its codes the respect they deserve. Ha finds the mortals recent lack of faith an afront to deities. They would be nothing without the careful guidance of gods and they should be more thankful. Ha finds Jeno's treachery unexpected and completely abhorrent. Treason goes against Ha's moral centre and as such he thinks Jeno's fate was well deserved. Ha often likes to make a show out of things, making unnecessary statements and pretentious acts.
Skills: Ha as the god of chivalry holds massive skill in swordplay and strategy. He seldom needs to fight all out. He also is the god of the forge, he has all but mastered the art of forging artifacts in all of their forms. None can make artifacts greater than Ha it is told. While Ha could create artifacts that are not necessarily forged, he finds them a bit more challenging. Making a silken weave isn't his forté but he could make it.
Preferred Field of Magic: Ha focuses on any magic which makes him more proficient at artifact forging. So while he has great knowledge in arcane magics within the areas of fire, earth, wind and raw energy and how it can be infused in objects, Ha mainly uses divine magic.
Spells/Abilities: Ha has the ability to create simple objects of war at will, weapons and armour can be created at a whim, with effort and magic he can make even larger weapons of war or fortifications of legend. He also takes little damage from heat, and blunt weapons seems to do little harm upon him.
Fighting Style: Ha is a master of the blade, fighting with skillful strikes and keeping on the offense, relying on his prominent armour for defense, he fights up close only if he has to though. He usually tries to let others fight for him as he sees himself as a general and commander.
Artifacts: Ha wields the sword "Ember" when it strikes home the blade bursts into flame making it cut through armour like cloth and bathing the struck in flames. Normal mortals cannot hope to survive its strike, although epic heroes with powerful weapons might be able to parry Ember's might. Ha also wields a runic hammer of the forge, by some told to be the greatest hammer, and named after Ha himself ,Ha-mmer. With its might, less magical resources is needed when forging magical artifacts. And its strike can shake mountains, but is unwieldy in combat.
Pocket Dimensions and Home: Ha lives in his divine forge, a massive foundry made of marble filled with all sorts of wondrous tools for crafting and smithing, Ha has gifted the understanding of many a tool to mortals. The foundry stands atop a fire spewing mountain within his small realm, which basically only contain the mountain with the forge and some burnt forest around the base of the mountain. It is said that every furnace is a gate to the divine forge, while this is an exaggeration Ha does have a great affinity to the forges of the mortals and usually acts from or near them.
Biography: At the first stroke of a hammer against the first anvil, Ha was born. Is how his followers describe him. His form gradually became that of the towering blackened steel warrior as his crafts were used more and more for war. Ha is popular with armies and generals that uphold the laws of chivalry. Knights often have Ha's blessing, albeit seldom in more than a figurative sense. More anarchistic forces tend to dislike Ha, mostly since he is always their opponent. After the fall of Jeno, Ha's image was torn between the factions of mortals. Many feared the wrothful hand of the lord of crafts, some claimed him making artifacts for Jeno, something that when Ha heard of, he himself personally smote them for doubting his honor. Acts that have had a myriad of effects upon the mortals view of Ha. But above all it reinforced the view of Ha as a wrothful and vengeful deity, someone that was quick to strike where he saw wrong. However Ha isn't nearly as wrothful as mortals think him to be, he is far more controlled in his actions and always try to justify his acts. Ha is not shy of helping those that uphold his values. Smiths, warriors of chivalry and those who command.
Ha is usually worshipped by humans.
Known relations: x
Dominion(s): Steel, forging and crafts, weapons, chivalry, walls.
His size is that of a tall man when he is in his foundry. 1,95 meters. When he treads the mortal realm, he likes to appear larger. He can at most be 4,5 meters tall, unless he uses divine magic to alter this. Which he doesn't do normally. His equipment appear as the same scale as Ha himself and therefore also shifts in size.
Ha-mmer and Ember was forged by Ha. Most legends about them are simply misconceptions. Ha-mmer is a one-handed hammer, it is beautifully decorated with flowing design. While it is told it could shake mountains it could not really do that. It's supposed to lessen the magical resources needed and doesn't hold earth shaking powers. It's probably one of Ha's shows that have given birth to this misconception.
Ha is great at making artifacts, other deities often ask him for guidance when forging themselves. But as with any deity the stronger the deity, the stronger the artifact. It also matters how much magical resources and its rarity in their forging.
Ha collects forging artifacts. He has a second, really small dimension which holds these items. A tiny little forge in a hut with a pit kiln. The hut has no outside and is dimly lit by the fire in the kiln and in the firebed. He has searched far and wide trying to find as many ancient items as possible, the first anvil, the first hammer, the first whetstone. Etcetera. He has a few very very old items, it is probable that none of them is the actual first of its kind. But Ha holds great value in them and revere them as the true essence of himself. Without them he wouldn't be.
This smaller portable dimension can be entered from his divine forge or from the place Ha thinks is the site of the first forge. Regardless if this is true, there is a gate to that place in a long forgotten and ruined settlement next to a mountain. The entire place is really shoddy looking, filled with very rusty tools and broken equipment. A few items are placed in a manner which resembles a blacksmith's workstation. Most of these tools are very damaged though. But they are very ancient.
This is Ha's true sanctum, should anyone tamper with this sacred place, he will be very, VERY angry.
Well since you have it up here might as well review for if in case you do want to be involved here.
First off, it is a bit strange that they are both similar at least in knighthood wise. However I could probably let this side, as Your god essentially fostered the concept of chivalry while Kilgarrah merely adopted it. Similar, but no the same. Usually Kilgarrah's knights revolve around dragon slaying more specifically then just general warriors.
As for the sheet itself
Looks very good, it follows its own format so I can tell that this seems to be from a different rp, especially from the biography. Not sure if you want to keep or change it, I'm ok with Gods being born in the world as a sort of younger generation, and his origin is pretty sound and flavorful despite being little, but my problem is with the specifics of it, what was the fall of Jeno? I assume this was from another rp, I'm ok if you wish to bring some of that over, but I'd need some details in the sheet or otherwise make a new biography. Or you can make him as old as the other Gods here, either way.
Overall its pretty good, if you do decide to join though let me know and we can work something out between our two characters so their domains don't overlap as much.
