Bio

I am a Roleplayer with an interest in science fiction and fantasy, with a preference for Casual. I have been roleplaying for several years, and have even taken a stab at running a few RPs.

Outside the Guild, I am an Australian science student, gamer, musician and roleplayer (that's right, IRL too).

In order of contribution:

Logos: While not writing anything personally, his Laws of Physics, carried over from the previous World, were the first to be written on the Universal blueprint, and all other details which followed were built upon those Laws.
Teknall: Aside from Logos, Teknall's works have formed the foundations of the blueprint. As a special addition, Teknall has also added fantastical elements (including, but not limited to, Adamantine and Mithral).
Toun: Another major contributor. Toun's biggest focus was allowing the Universe to foster life.
Vestec: Vestec's additions, done with intent of vandalism, included the crazy and unexpected, such as space monsters, asteroids where they shouldn't be, too big suns, too small moons and fracture planets.
Vulamera: While not making any unique additions of her own, Vulamera accomplished the important task of unifying all of the additions into a single, cohesive whole.
Mammon: Mammon has inserted the means of the occult into the Universal blueprint, from ingredients for alchemy and rituals to secret words of power.
Vakarlon: The Trickster has added an element of chance and luck to the Universe-to-be.
Julkofyr: Down at the quantum level, this god of Shadows has obscured the properties of things at this scale and made them uncertain (effectively, quantum physics as we know it). Julkofyr has also ensured the existence of the vacuum of space and the void between atoms.
Zephyrion: This god of Air has asserted his dominance over his Domain by rewriting the gases to his will (effectively making them the reactive, diatomic gases we know now). More significantly, Zephyrion has imbued the blueprints with the Winds of Change, ensuring that the Universe will forever be a dynamic place, never at rest.
Niciel: Niciel timidly made a small contribution, adding some of her purity to balance out the chaos and suppress some of the disorder.
Astarte: She has added a touch of her own essence, imbuing the Universe-to-be with her magic, potentially allowing for impossible, magical features to appear such as flying rocks, living dirt or, at a bare minimum, magic users.
Slough: Her accidental touch has ensured that the Universe-to-be will be perfectly palatable for life of all kinds.
Belruarc: She has added her own magic, a lawful, scholarly magic, to the Universal plan.
Jvan: The All-Beauty has filled the gaps in the plans with otherworldly, eldritch, organic beings, which would live just outside the Universe, waiting and watching for wherever the wall of reality grows thin enough for them to intrude.

Notable works which were not part of the blueprint include:
Reathos: Reathos has become keeper of the Primordial Pool, the place where spirits go when their hosts die, and maintainer of the cycle of life, death and rebirth.
Illunbar: She made her Dreamweaver, making Dreams something special. This is not written into the blueprint, although it borrows from its power.
Slough: Unwittingly, she has become the progenitor of all natural life in the Universe. While the blueprint contains some facsimiles of life, and it provides a hospitable and fertile place for life, it is by Slough's essence that the Universe will be inhabited by life.

Ull'Yang fed his arm to Slough, but is otherwise yet to contribute. Vowzra is yet to contribute, although that contribution has been promised to happen at the very end. Kyre and Daegon have also not yet contributed anything.

@Dawnscroll
I shall also make a post, although that can wait until after lunch.

Hmmm... you know what, I WILL POST!

PREPARE, PEOPLE!

THE AWESOME IS COMING!

Did you still want me to mention the thing you wanted me to, or shall you do that now?
<Snipped quote by BBeast>

It means I added an element of chance and luck to the universe among other things.

OK, I'll clarify it then.

@Kho, awesome post. I can't wait to see the rest of it.

However, that was the DRAGON GOD - his flames were a mighty magic. So a god whose domain gives exceptional inherent power can destroy an extremely powerful Holy Site, yes (and Orabil was a VERY well protected Holy Site - no violence could take place within its 100 mile vicinity and it was connected to to the beating heart of Galbar, the source of all Life and also an extremely powerful Holy Site - ain't no catapult harming dat!).
A god who is not inherently exceptionally strong would not be able to destroy such a well protected and powerful Holy Site, but less powerful Holy Sites are capable of being destroyed, yes.

For instance, a god like Zephyrion, or Logos, who are inherently just ridiculously powerful, can destroy an Orabil.
Something like, for instance, Vestec, would need to use Might to destroy it as he is not inherently a 'powerful' god in the brute sense that Logos, DRAGON GOD and Zephyrion are. Less poweful Holy Sites, Vestec would obviously be able to just waltz through them, but it's all dependent on the kind of Holy Site and its characteristics.

So, I take it that, unless you take special care to make your Holy Sites extra protected, the only thing stopping other gods from destroying them is goodwill and the threat of political fallout. Good to know.

P.S. @Dawnscroll, give me a minute and I'll do that.
Does it take Might to destroy another god's Holy Site? Or can a god just destroy it casually (since if, say, some catapults can do so, then why not a god?)?
Bah. Trying to get this post done... why am I so slow tonight. Oi, Zephyeron and Vivisec, you mind if I fling you away from the designs?

@Rtron

Teknall has already pushed Vestec away. Whether he stayed back or whether he returned is yet to be posted.

That's a viable option.

Also, for anyone potentially interested. Whatever landforms or areas you create, if Slough happens by or is encouraged to happen by, she will fill the area with interesting life. The range of said life can be staggering; she won't, for instance, create grassy woodland in a hot, arid climate. Instead she'll make awesome cactuses and such. Furthermore, there's a very real possibility that Slough will make unique and powerful creatures. For instance, in an tropical zone, under the right conditions, she might create this:

A huge and immensely powerful monster that by its very presence changes that entire region. Legends can arise from it for civilizations; mortals and their heroes can attempt to slay it. Even gods might have trouble dispatching the occasional monstrosity. Additionally, the chance of making monsters might increase the more is asked of Slough. For instance, if a couple of gods used her to make their specific ideas of life on their newly-created continent, the chance of having a 'malfunction' might rise.

Slough will always be keeping it interesting.

@Vec, It doesn't have to last all that long. It just has to serve him between now and his next form, which I imagine may come about around the time of the Big Bang, once we have a Cosmos.
