Bio

Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.

In all honesty, I am 25 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!

Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but I find myself more and more interested in interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Kenshi, and Marvel but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. Do you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!

These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.

@Dark Cloud Bold of you to assume she went to college XD
Dullin

While his question may have been rhetorical, the truth was that Dullin understood more than he may know. In teaching herself magic she had read many books by dragonborn wizards. Their zeal for the craft was a major inspiration for her, and she had grown to understand their disposition. They try until you succeed, never give up, and never waver in your interest. Listening to the big draconic man before her speak so gloomily about his situation, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt for acting so harsh to him before. He was a fighter, it was likely all he knew. So when he snarled out a comment about her lacking honor, she bit her tongue.

"We do things differently here, and it will take getting use to but I am sure you'll figure it out" She said with a sigh, though she gave him a reassuring smile to express what little kindness she had to offer to this barbatic brute. Her words returned to common, it was easier for her and the dragonborn understood her words, even if he might not be able to repeat them.
"but a word of advice: not every warrior wants to be one. Sometimes we dress like this" She said with a wink, gesturing to her common winter clothing and jewelry.
"After all, the element of surprise is the most dangerous weapon of all. You learned that first hand"

The room was a conventional reading room, from the composition to the obvious bookshelf, it all seemed rather mundane. The painting on the wall was the most obvious difference, and it seemed very conceded of the shy Lenny to stick a painting of herself in the room.

The group was be quick to notice that the Ornate Fireplace gave off heat, but as they entered the heat remained a constant, perfect cozy heat even as they drew closer. The room was lit very well, but the only light emanated from the fire. The whole room seemed off the more and more the group scanned it over. This was a tower, yet there were no stairs. There where windows from the outside but not from within. Outside the walls where marble, but within they where stone?

(Eloween and Ferrin)
The two of you would be quick to notice that on the top of the book shelf a few small but glowing words would begin to reveal themselves. Something likely unnoticed by those without the wherewithal to scan the room so throughway.
Trail of wisdom

They'd be too distracted to notice before it was all too late that the door behind them was closing. Any who would turn to investigate would find the Lenny locking the door behind them, trapping them within.
What a perceptive crew!
Alright. I will wait on Eloween but I will start writing what you guys see. I hope you guys don't mind a few puzzles and stuff. There will still be combat I promise!
the dice gods look upon us this night
@Dark Cloud That was my character being impatient and uninterested. I personally want to know more. Specifically when I see the title 'Bastard' on his sheet.

@Lurking Krog Mister cool Dm, would Dullin no anything about Dragonborn culture? Would I have to roll?
So after re-reading, Wyler and Eloween can roll investigation or perception if they would like. I would also allow one to give advantage to the other since they've likely worked together to find stuff before.

To the others, you may also roll investigation or perception. I think this might be pivotal to what you guys know/can do.
And Dullin might learn to go easier on people who come off as gruff.
