Bio

Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.

In all honesty, I am 25 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!

Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but I find myself more and more interested in interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Kenshi, and Marvel but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. Do you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!

These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.

Geo's tenacious display of martial brilliance happened in a blur, faster than Doc could even react. The unarmed fighter was sent sprawling once Geo weaved them with a simple side step, but the twirl and the fluttering sound of Geo's feathers made such a basic movement graceful and serene. Doc hardly reacted in time, perhaps from exhaustion, or just simply not having the combative initiative Geo had. As such, the movement was slowed by the back of Geo's weapon, not particularly viciously but enough to knock the healer off balance.

Doctor_Buttz took 1 damage!

Geo's incredible strike landed, embedding the blade just above his ribs. The Beggar gasped in pain and clung his eyes closed, but practically bounced off the blade with the force of Geo's strike, stumbling into an equally off-center Doc.

beggar bandit took 9 damage!

The Beggar seemed to completely change his target, using the momentum from Geo's strike to turn into a tackle towards the off-balance Doc. In the frantic attempt to keep him away, Doc flung their leg up, slamming it into the Beggar's stomach, knocking both them and the Bandit to the ground. Doc landed on their but, and the Beggar landed on his back, sprawled out and unconscious.

Beggar Bandit took 2 damage!
Each player gained 2 exp!
Each player collects 2 gp!

Unfortunately, the dramatic and triumphant display did not last particularly long. The knife-wielding bandit had crept up on Geo, and this one appeared to be no pushover. The polearm struck him in the stomach, but he did not falter from the attack, and instead whipped the blade around in his hand, putting the blade in a reverse grip before he plunged it down at Geo's back.

Beggar Bandit Brute took 4 damage!

For a moment, he looked like he would press his advantage. Even if they had parried him, he had passed the true challenge of the spear and closed the distance. But he suddenly hoped back, just as a massive beam of light blasted past the two of them.

Doctor buttz call let the beam escape their hands, still sitting on the ground. The impact never arrived, but they were simply glad they did not hit their ally. When their eyes flickered back, they saw that the bandit had landed in a strange stance. The bandit had put a hand on the ground and was currently placing their weapon in their mouth as they crouched down. Doc's eyes widened once they saw the stance.

"Geo! Dodge!"

In a sudden blur, the Bandit surged forward at blinding speeds. The blade, still in a reverse grip, came rushing for Geo's side as he rushed by him, sliding to a halt behind the Avian from the sheer inertia of movement. Doc had stood up, rushing for the battle, but only managed to get a few steps forward before the interaction occurred.
Oh man, I am so sorry, I never saw your first question dude!

I don't do much stuff, nothing new. I have been absolutely obsessing over a game called 'Look Outside'. I think it's the first time I have seen an Eldritch Abomination done in a way I enjoy. I've been playing some Stardew Valley too, and been debating on playing Kenshi again. What about you? What kind of games do you like?

I'm pretty hard to excite, honestly, sorry to say. I am weirdly interested in clowns and bugs, I like history and martial arts. Uhhh, idk I am a man of very weird interests, like roleplaying, haha. What about you? I feel like we haven't really talked much, given how long our rp has gone on.
@silver21 absolutely feel free to do just that! I was mostly trying to keep him from being a dweeb, maybe try to get into some other people's rooms.
I'll slap some code on that in a second. Gotta get back to work
Gangle's frown turned upside down hearing there was a chance to fix their mask. That was immediately stripped away when Riff tensed up. Gangle did as well, hunching and anxiously wrapping the ribbons that now constituted as hands around each other. She looked around, anxiously expecting some massive monster to come after her.

Patch then presented them with an immediate answer to their predicament. Not a perfect or permanent one, but a solution to give them time to collect themselves. Gangle nodded to Patch before making her way towards the sofas.

Clover's explanation only made Snix try to yell louder, but he was never able to fully raze his voice.

"Zoobs! Zooble! Hey! Listen to me you miscellaneous $#@!" He let out, getting louder and louder with each word. Finally, rather than even speaking he blasted a loud train whistle, steam blasting from the cob pipe that constituted as his mouth.

When he stopped, he was gasping for air, fist clenched in raise. Only then did he turn around as see Ragatha. He also saw a new figure. He may not have had any eyes but you could practically feel him making that exact expression as he sighed in exasperation.
"Welcome to &$#@ kid, we don't have a lot of time to explain"

His clenched fist opened, and he offered a hand to this stranger before him. A toy soldier lacking eyes, currently billowing steam from a cob pipe.
"Just follow the jester and you should be alright" he added, waiting until they've stood up to start heading for the sofas as well.

Jax, meanwhile, had completely ignored any request to stay put. With long legged strides, even at his size, and the speed of a rabbit, he managed to make shockingly good pace just hoofing it across the playground they called home. He was making a b-line for the rooms.
Gotcha, I'll try to knock something out soon. Apologies for the wait
Should we take a general roll call here? Stanifly and Emberdoodlez have been MIA for a while
nothing much really. I just have to work up the energy to post. How about yourself?
Must....post...
@tadcfnaf you might be a bit late. I think this roleplay has stagnated
