@Classpet@Dutchess SarahJay smiles at both girls and sits next to Bryn since she invited him to. Before he sits fully though, he sits forward some allowing for Jewel to unwind from around his waist and slowly slither out of his sweater from the neck. Once her full two foot self was out of the sweater she coils up in Jay's lap and looks quite content. Jay with a small chuckle at his snake sits back and gives his full attention to the other people in the compartment.
"Thank you, Her name is Jewel and I assure you she is no threat. Especially in the cold." Referring to the snake who is still coiled up contently. The snake seemed pleased with the compliment from Lavender... which is somewhat odd for a snake to be so expressive. Probably due to being the only surviving hatchling from his father's now deceased snake who was known to be able to understand regular speech. Not just Parseltongue.
"My name is Jaylon, but please call me Jay" He beams at them as he gently pets the snake. He is a bit overly proper with his verbiage,but that can be blamed on his aunt who taught him to be polite with people he doesn't know yet. When he is closer with others though he will become a bit more relaxed and fun.
