Of course, in the middle of Addisonās metaphysical stupor, she fell down a fucking hole.
A 15 foot drop into a sewer system, quiet, cool, and fucking dark. She landed safely but she still felt like shit, and yet it was far quieter down there. Addie managed to get onto her feet, but she couldnāt quite see well in the darkness, and the noise from above underground wasnāt filtering through the manhole in a pleasant way, so she elected to get to walking down the dark alley of a sewer complex. The whole time she couldnāt see shit, and the strange feeling in her hands and bones and...atoms? Seemed to not be there either.
Addison tried to wrap her bloodied head around the situation, she could figure out why someone would bomb a societal shithole like Takari. It could be mutants or bandits, theyāre too stupid to ride a bike, and two deformed too. MLI...Sunrunners, who the fuck knows, whatever. She just needed to get some place safe that didnāt have people burning alive and getting shot seas around here. Maybe she could find a way out of these sewers if she wandered through the pitch blackness enough.
