What I mean is I’m anticipating some kind of uprising if these “enforcement agencies” get outright abusive in their power. Full on rebellion type of thing.
Ashley Jones [ 16 ] [ White ] [ Pansexual ] [ ♐️ ]
I go by “Ash” at school.
Personality : That depends entirely on when you’re asking her. When Ash is at home, she’s quiet, reserved, and meek. This is a result of having a broken excuse for a home life which she doesn’t dare mention to anyone. But outside of home, she has the pleasure of being herself. What her single father doesn’t know about Ash is that she is somewhat defiant, in the sense that she doesn’t just blindly follow orders that people try to give her, but instead questions the authority of those who think she’s just some little girl. When she’s with her friends, she’s a kind person at heart, but had an aggressive side. She already has an abusive and suppressive father at home, there’s no way in hell she’s letting someone treat her that way outside of home. Ash has always been a quiet person, and peaceful when she can be. She only gets angry with people who try to push her around. She has a peaceful atmosphere around her that only her friends can really understand, it’s like the world around her slows down a little. She would die for the few people in this world that she calls her friends, and would throw her peaceful atmosphere to the side if they were hurt, or if she were there when something killed Vanessa.
If I could have just been there with her...We could’ve known something.
Ash likes to question the world around her, either through spiritual or philosophical means, she often thinks about the way the world is, and wonders what she’d do in a lot of dire situations you only hear about on tv. She has seen terrible things happen at home as well, and it’s affected her head in ways only she could explain to others.
Why should I listen to all the people in the world who tell me what to be? They never listened when I had something to say.
Gravity Control Ash has the strange power to alter the pull of space on matter, and change direction by force. In short terms, it’s an indirect form of telekinesis. Ash’s powers involve apply an unseen force in various directions and various strengths. This ranges from simply pushing an apple off a table to stopping on oncoming car dead in its tracks, resulting in a violent car crash. To someone watching her, it looks simple enough, just put your hand out and push or pull. But to Ashley, it’s like placing a mental point in her head and watching things react to its presence by either coming forward or moving away. She has been aware of this power for roughly a month, and has done her best to keep it a secret while she learns to understand what she has been given.
With enough time, Ash could fly or even ignore the gravity of the planet, but currently, she is nowhere near that level of power, and wouldn’t risk using her power in such a large way, after all, she has to keep it a secret so her father doesn’t find out.
It’s...like I’m a tiny planet or something...
Connection To Vanessa : No one knows this, but Ash actually had feelings for that girl, so it hurt even worse when one of her closest friends died. Few people were as close to her as Vanessa.
...Vanessa...what happened to you?
Other : 3599FF
I have an idea for her to fall towards a more evil side somehow, like a magneto situation where she’s doing bad things for a good reason. That is of course if A) That’s allowed and B) If someone would be willing to pull her back.
Perfect for a nice song to listen to, which is exactly what Iris was doing through one ear while listening to everyone else around her. Today, she’s become a true witch. A properwitch, and her place in the coven would be solidified. The air was humming with excitement, and she certainly looked forward to it. After all, she didn’t have much to be concerned over considering the fact that she already considered this coven her family, and her home. She was sitting next to another would-be witch and the table that all the elders prettied up for them. She even found a slinky on the ground. Cute. Next to Iris was Hana, who she wasn’t paying much attention to right now, because while everything was going great so far, one thing just didn’t seem right to her.
You see, Iris was drinking a little something, and she couldn’t quite figure out what it was. She was just staring out into the clouds while occasionally sipping down on this red solo cup of hers. Sure, she could just look down into the cup and find out whether or not she was drinking sweet tea, or iced tea. Not that she would, of course. It ultimately didn’t matter to her, just tea, isn’t it? Is it tea? Seems like tea, it’s not fizzy like soda, so it’s probably tea. Mmm. Tea. @Akayaofthemoon
Personality : Iris is what someone in their 50s might call “weird” or “not right.” Putting aside the fact that she’s entirely uninterested in the opinions of most males she’s met, she also has a weird way of saying things. She’s the kind of person who would say “I don’t look at the future, I look sideways” instead of saying she’s happy with where she is. Iris, for all the odd energy she has surrounding her, is still a nice person, just not overly sweet and joyful. She’s got this atmosphere going on that could only be described as slow. Iris doesn’t move at the world’s pace, but at her own. People are safe around her, and she likes to make sure that doesn’t change, whether she has to do it magically or otherwise.
Iris is easily described as just a chill girl, but she is not afraid to get in someone’s face and be aggressive, and she’s more than willing to give somebody a black eye when they cross the wrong lines. It’s rare to see Iris smile, but it doesn’t mean she isn’t in a good mood, she’s just off like that, at least, that’s how she’d put it. She may be a little goofy, or even aloof, but this stems from a deep insecurity surrounding abandonment issues. When Iris was little, she didn’t have anyone but the elders to take care of her, and they were usually busy, so she spent a lot of time alone thinking she did something to make them avoid her. She uses her half-funny nature to “remind” her friends that she’s there, because she has an almost irrational worry that they’ll just grow bored of her or even forget about her after a while. It’s become a habit for her to just be this goofy off-her-rocket-esque girl to make herself stick in the minds of a few select people that she cares about, even if it’s occasionally tiring on an emotional level to keep that up.
Appearance: A denim jacket, boots, and tank tops are at least half of the things this girl wears, and if it doesn’t set off the gaydars of some people, their gaydars are off. Her dark brown hair is slightly curly, and goes down to her waist in the back, and down to her shoulders in the front. And it is a mess. A big mess, which is why she always keeps most of it behind her head. Overall, she looks like she puts just a little bit of effort into her looks, but that’s just like her, unworried about appearances, unworried about impressing people. She also has a habit of drawing on her arms, stuff like clouds or random dots, when she’s bored.
Biography: Iris has never met her family and does not even know if any of them are alive. Though she's searched for information about them or their possible whereabouts, she's heard nothing of their doings or deeds in the magical community. Either way, it doesn’t matter to her, or never did. She had a family already, the coven. They taught Iris everything she knew about ghosts, magic, and vampires, and everything in between. She grew up making magical tools to help others or herself, rings made of twine and glass that focus magic energy, or repel monsters. Bracelets that help you heal faster. She was good at that kind of thing. Magic and her adopted family were all she ever knew. That’s all she ever needed in her life. It was simple.
But before now, she was just a wee little baby witch, who some of the elder witches took care of. She would spend most of her days running around the house grabbing flowers and learning to make charms, and the older witches saw that she was pretty good at it so they brought her up learning about it more than most magic, she obviously learned the things they’re all expected to know, but charms were particularly involved in her learning, so now she waits to become a fully fledged witch, not knowing for sure what that will entail. She isn’t sure if there is a test she needs to pass, or if she’s already passed them, but she’s ready for it.
Notable Rumors: Given her newfound magic interests, some people think she’s studying necromancy. She isn’t, though.
Greatest Fear: The thing that scares Iris the most is doing nothing. Things try to take hold of magic powers all the time, and the thought of not being able to stop that, being powerless, is terrifying.
Magic:
Iris grew up specializing in creating magical “tools” usable in a variety of ways, she can use these things to help heal someone, or give them a boost to their magic. Need healing? She’s got jars full of healing plants. Need to get really strong? She’s got charms for punching things. These two things tend to go hand in hand, since they’re created in very similar ways. It also comes in handy with her new interest she found.
That’s just what she calls it, but lately Iris has been studying the idea of giving motion to inanimate creations, binding sticks and branches together to make a human shape, and supplying that with magic energy. She calls them golems. She physically can’t make them as smart as a human, but she could make them smart enough to preform tasks, like a trained animal. The size of the constructs, or golems as she calls them, appears to be meaningless regarding magic energy. Their intelligence is what affects their strength. Something smart enough to do high school math might last a week or two unchecked, but something with the mind of a dog could last a month. It’s easy to make a golem’s body, just sticks and vines for bones, and a magic “heart” to power it.
These creatures aren’t exactly “alive” but they show behavior similar to a living creature. They’re not sentient, they can’t think for themselves, they’re essentially machines made of magic that Iris can control using a charm specifically designed to link her to any golem she wants to talk with.
It sounds way more sophisticated than it actually is, the name makes it sound like some kind of highly valuable secret book full of untold creatures, but it’s really just information about golemism that’s Iris records in the process. She’s never heard of anyone studying this kind of magic before, so she went in blind. The book is full of heart making methods, charm communication involving the golem, and the shape of some golems.
It looks like a nice sketchbook that you’d find at Walmart. No lines on the pages. The inside flap has a set of “rules” Iris made out of anticipation. If any of the more authoritative witches were to feel concerned with Iris’ work. They could read this book and figure out what she’s up to. There are also other things in this book like less human shapes for golems, like cats or birds.
1) “Don’t use bones, that’s just mean.” 2) “Human intelligence is impossible, and probably dumb” 3) “Golems aren’t witches.”

Isolde Morden
Gender Female
Age 18
Birthday 12/23
Sexuality Pansexual
Appearance Needless to say, Isolde is at least semi attractive, being 5’ 9” and having clean, sleek jet black hair down to her hips. And maybe it’s the electricity, or her inhuman nature as a witch, but her eyes are an almost neon, electric blue, as if they’re glowing. She comes of as very eye-candyish, but her attire is a complete inversion of her personality and physical appearance. She wears a lot of slacked, baggy clothes like sweatpants and a hoodie. She walks with her head held high, as if she’s already seen everything around her for months. She doesn’t have a very interesting fashion sense, but the most interesting thing about her look is the very profound lichtenberg scar that spirals from her wrist up to her shoulder, which she got inked over like a tattoo a while back. The scar happened when she was first experimenting with lightning magic when she was 13. Isolde can often be seen with a staff in her hand. It looks like an ordinary but fancy walking stick, and mostly, it is, but it’s also a common thing in the Morden family. It is a dense wood line with carvings of clouds and mountainous animals, with a metal ring at the two ends. It weighs roughly 2.5 pounds and is eye level with Isolde.
Personality Isolde is a very grounded person. Her head is never in the clouds, unless literally, and she’s not afraid to speak her mind. Isolde has an energetic atmosphere around her, like at any moment the whole mood could flip from calm to roaring intensity. She respects the elders of the coven, knowing full well why they’re the elders, and tries to listen to their words as much as possible. This doesn’t mean in the slightest that she listens to them because of their authority. Isolde is an upstanding kind of witch, sure, but as far as she’s concerned, there’s nothing stopping her from going rogue but herself, and she likes it here. She admires the work that has to be done to keep a wellspring safe from monsters that would use its sacred power for bad reasons, and therefore, if she has to die fighting for one, she will go down swinging. She’s a very zealous type of girl, and only sometimes has the energy to back it up, when she’s not in a fierce mood, she’s sweet to the people she knows. She’s protective out of instinct alone, but has learned to not get involved in something nobody wants her involved in. Her friends are family to her, she’s the type to kiss someone on the hand when they’re close enough to her, especially women. and carry them on her back when they sprain their foot. She’s a whole mood when she wants to be, it’s just about getting that mental momentum, as she’d put it. Isolde is noble, and tries to maintain honor among the people she is around, be it through basic respect, or treating an enemy of her people as another person, with their own beliefs and reasons that make her never want to kick a dog when it’s down. She grew up with a deep connection to the culture surrounding witches and magic, and therefore has an admiration for people who stretch the boundaries of what magic is through their own creativity, however that may be.
Biography Isolde was born into a house of witches known by few other than elders in a coven for their control of the clouds. Bending lighting in the palms of their hands is in the Morden house’s blood. It is an old family, secluded in the distant parts of the Appalachian mountain range. One of the six founders of the original family, Valerica Morden, left her teachings behind a few lifetimes ago to be passed down to the future generations. Isolde is one such witch. Occasionally, members of the Morden house are sent to covens in the region to learn from other witches. It’s not common, but Isolde is the first one in at least 3 or 4 years to go to a new coven. One of the Morden House elders, known as Asmen Morden, sent word to the leaders of Dying Branch, to put in a good word for Isolde.
The mountains were almost covered in snow, where Isolde lived, it was mild weather year round, and the Mordens kept in touch with only a handful of covens, which is how they’d keep up with the important events of the world. Dying Branch was the one they talked with the most. Isolde, being old enough to handle herself, was given the choice to stay or leave to learn more from the outside world. Naturally, she left. She took with her the a copy of all three of Valerica Morden’s teachings to educate herself on the Morten family’s old magic, hoping to learn more in this new chapter of her life. Each of the three books had a singular rune, meaning “Lock” on the inside of the front covers to protect the knowledge within them. The only people permitted to open the books were Isolde, and an elder of the Dying Branch.
The reason for the secrecy of the Morden family is because in the mountains, they have their own wellspring that they guard closely. It is not like the Dying Branch’s wellspring. It is a tree with silver bark, and luminous leaves that drift along the wind, they give off a faint blue glow against the thundery clouds of the mountains. It is believed by the family that this tree is the cause for their lives in the mountaintops. Normally, few things could survive there, but the weather and wildlife has been changed by the mountains. Rams with pale fur, and glassy horns can occasionally be seen trotting through the fields on the mountains. Of course, beneath the one or two mile long fields of the Morden family’s home, there is nothing like that. The tree, known as the Mountain’s Heart, is found in a place only the Morden elders know of, they only refer to it as “Valerica’s Valley.” Stories tell of a young tree growing over the grave where Valencia Morden was said to be buried, but it’s nearly impossible to find if you’re not an elder. Isolde may never see the Mountain’s Heart, but it’s alright. She’s going to see the outside world for herself, and maybe one day teach someone to wield lightning herself, when she earns the right.
Notable Rumors Some people say she’s just a lesbian. Not true.
Greatest Fear Lightning. It’s weird to think about a lightning magic user being afraid of their power, but you’d be an absolute fool to not be afraid of lightning, especially when your magic of choice involves conducting it through your hands and arms.
”A storm without rage is a breeze. A storm without calm is the end of everything. There is no storm without an eye. To wield the strength of darkened clouds, one must understand the eye of the storm no less than the winds and rain of the storm. Only then can you let the power flow as if it were water.”
Forces of The Sky. Volume 1 - Valerica Morden.
It suits her personality greatly, being able to conduct the storms above one’s head the way Isolde does. By letting the magic energy in her body flow a certain way, and not forcing it to move any other way, Isolde has learned to channel and create electricity in her body, and direct it at whatever she sees fit. The only way she can actually handle doing this is by “bracing” herself for it, which is done by circulating magic energy throughout her body, without using it up. The problem is that she can’t just watch a bolt of lightning fly at her and then brace for it, since lighting is, well, lightning fast.
The actual creation of lightning in Isolde’s body is a lot more difficult to do, since she has to divide her energy into one part for bracing, and the other for its creation. She could just forgo channeling the lightning all together if she wanted, but she wouldn’t be able to store it in her body to do any number of things with. Those things include running the energy throughout her body like a battery, and hitting something to transfer the energy, or firing it into the air to heat up any sort of moisture in the air to make even more lightning.
It’s a lot harder than it sounds, and Isolde doesn’t get many chances to practice being a conduit for a lightning storm since she left the mountains, but the next time the weather gets really bad, you’re no doubt gonna see Isolde standing in the middle of an open field. It’s also the cause of her lichtenberg scar. It is common for witches of the Morden family to be scarred like this, and it’s a running joke among most that if you don’t have a lichtenberg scar somewhere on your body, you’re not really a Morden.
All of the standard knowledge the Morden witches ever learn about lightning is recorded in the three volumes of Forces of The Sky, everything else learned about lightning magic is learned through experience, which Isolde has roughly 7 years of.

Deborah’s just one of them. When she was really young, if they weren’t throwing together snacks for her, they weren’t really looking after her. She didn’t have parents to do that. Either one doesn’t matter to me but I still plan to make a sage character and stuff. A character with a bunch of different sage art techniques and a few ninjitsu stuff. That’s their thing, Kiba’s the dog ninja tenten’s the weapon ninja and this one is the senjutsu ninja.
👐
Will add cs here and we can talk about the sage arts I add if you want
Personality: Celin is inherently levelheaded and peaceful, though she doesn’t smile, she can definitely cut loose and enjoy some ramen in town or get a kick out of life. She enjoys spending time studying the more far out aspects of the shinobi world, like senjutsu, the history of the Rinnegan and the Sage of Six Paths, or sealing jutsu that she rarely hears anyone talk about. Despite her kind and mellow nature, she is furious on the battlefield, like she’s a completely different person.
Background: Growing up in the ninja academy, Celin struggled with things like the basic clone jutsu or substitution, though she was great at taijutsu, which wasn’t special since most kids are. Celin one day read a book on the earth style, and asked her teacher if she could try to learn the rock wall. Her teacher found it odd that a student who was underperforming at ninjutsu wanted to learn something like this, but also understood that everyone learned differently.
As it turned out, Celin was a natural at things like the rock wall and mud clone. Her newfound skill awarded her a pass, and her teacher gave Celin an alternative learning path, she would still learn shuriken throwing and chakra control, but anywhere that a jutsu could be replaced with earth style, She’d learn differently.
A few years later she journeyed to Mount Myoboku to learn senjutsu from the Toad Sages, and it was by this point that her training began to feel like it was really coming together in her mind. She put earth style on the back burner and devoted her time to Sage Mode, eventually interweaving the two into her own genuine fighting style.
Fighting Style: Celin is a very grounded fighter, she doesn’t worry about fancy flips or disorienting an enemy. She hits them, and she hits them as hard as she can so they don’t get back up. Most of her fighting style revolves around Myoboku Senjutsu, since she has trained endlessly to base herself around the techniques of nature energy. If an encounter doesn’t last very long, she will simply fall back on the earth style, but if it’s something more serious that demands her full attention, Celin let’s her senjutsu training shine, whether it’s with her fists or a sage hammer.
Abilities:
Ninja Art : Summoning Jutsu Simmons a toad from Mount Myoboku. Earth Style : Rock Wall A literal wall of rock. Like a shield. Earth Style : Sphere of Graves A giant boulder that shatters when thrown. Earth Style : Mud Clone Mud clone.
Sage Art : Mountain Shield Like rock wall, but much bigger and stronger. Sage Art : Myoboku Hammer A Kanabo, too heavy to wield without sage mode. It is decorated with a toad skin pattern of brown and black. Sage Art : Canyon Slam A ground punch that splits open the earth, for trapping. Sage Art : Black Iron Sealing Pit Similar to Canyon Slam, but a straight drop deep into the earth, seals the target away with jet black chains. Sage Art : Toad Oil Celin inhales air, and exhales oil, very flammable oil that can be sprayed a decent distance for as long as she exhales. It burns well. Sage Art : Toad Clay The ground becomes soft and mushy beneath one’s feet until they fall through, when the ground hardens, they’re stuck. Sage Art : Golden Castle Armor Celin’s last resort. She shifts the nature of her chakra to earth, and grows a layer of rigid and hard skin. Her body grows heavy, like solid gold. Every ounce of chakra she has is poured into her skin, so the only way she can survive this is through sage mode. She becomes immune to physical attacks, but once the chakra begins to shift back to a neutral nature, the armor will will evaporate and she will be weakened.
