Current Almost exactly one year since I step away from being here, and a lot can change in that amount of time. Here's hoping I can find a game or two and see how things go from here.

RIP Stan Lee... You will forever be missed. As someone whose grown up reading Marvel comics, you've always have kind of been a part of my life. Thank you for making most of the Marvel heroes we know.

Bio

WIP I'm coming back after forever so clearing all of this seems like a good choice.

Just few basic things.

1. Left for my own sort of health reasons.
2. I ran a game for almost a decade when I stepped away from everything.
3. Currently working on getting an interest check up for the game I am going to hopefully be able to run.

All set, that's all for now.

Location: Bridge

Daphne laughed at her sister's opinion of Harper. She didn't really care for him very much either, but it was funny to her the way she straight out said it. Daphne was glad that she shared the same opinion of him as she herself did, otherwise this would be a weird conversation. She was glad to hear that nothing really was happening everywhere else on the ship, meant that several people were probably almost as bored as she was. It wasn't really her idea to sit up on the Bridge all day, but she had to do her job, and she was fine with that.

She smile at her sister, and said "I don't really care much for him either, but we have to deal with him for now. Anyway, glad to hear that the Alliance crew members aren't causing too many problems. The ship is fine, and I've been sitting here just keeping an eye on things, however it has gotten more than a little boring sitting here waiting for something to happen. I'm pretty confident that I can fly her, it isn't Vengeance that's for sure".

Daphne leaned back her chair, and looked at her sister. In her opinion, Dorothy looked a little out of place on the Bridge, but that might just be because she was used to seeing her in the Med Bay. She smiled and turned back to the console, making sure to keep an eye out for anything strange.

Daphne was still sitting around, doing nothing, when her sister walked up. She jumped a little in her chair at the sudden sound of Dorothy's voice, and turned to look at her sister. Her mind had still been wandering, far away from what was going on around her, and she didn't expect someone to walk up. She smiled when she saw what Dorothy had, and wondered why Dorothy would even ask if she was hungry. "Yes I am, thanks Dory," she said and reached out to take the food that was in her hands. She was happy for the company, and was getting tired of just sitting around waiting for something to happen.

Daphne had been sitting there for a while, and was glad that someone walked in. She was just sitting around, while everyone else wandered the ship and could talk with everyone. The rest of the crew were off doing something else, while she was stuck in one place. The Bridge was still relatively quiet except for her and her sister, and Daphne was a little curious about what was happening everywhere else on the ship. Luckily, Dorothy was just the person to give her that information.

"So, what's everyone else up to? Any problems with the Alliance crew yet?" she asked Dorothy as she turned around to look back at the console in front of her.

The Bridge was relatively quiet, and Daphne did not like it. Her thoughts were running wild while she sat there, hoping for something to happen. She wasn't very good at being patient, and while she was sitting there, stuck on the bridge, who knew what could be happening elsewhere on the ship. She thought about paging Harper, so that she at least had someone to talk to, but decided not to bother him. It wasn't too long ago that he left, and it would probably annoy him. She didn't really like him, but his company would be better than nothing.

She glanced at the console in front of her, her fingers itching to fly the ship. Daphne has never flown an Alliance vessel, and she really wanted to fly the ship, more than just sitting there and keeping an eye on things. She was bored, and it was really bugging her. Daphne was just sitting there, waiting. Hopefully someone told her to do something, or hopefully something happened that would require her to do something with the ship controls. Everything was quiet, and it annoyed her because she never liked the quiet, not really anyway.

"Will do," she said as she watched Harper exit the Bridge. Daphne still didn't care much for the Alliance pilot, but she figured that since they were in similar situations she couldn't really judge. Harper did get on her nerves, since he was older and probably had more experience than she did, but he made her feel like a little kid in comparison. He may have more experience, but in her opinion that didn't make him a better pilot, so he could just leave her alone about it. It did make her laugh when he seemed to be surprised that she hadn't asked any questions, so at least she was able to surprise him that way.

Daphne was bored, and being told not to do anything except keep an eye on the sensors wasn't really helping. This made her prefer sitting in the Med Bay while her sister tried to explain what she was doing, and she hated that. She looked at the console again, thinking about whether to ignore what Harper said or to listen and not do anything. In the end she decided that she would rather be bored than risk the Captain's anger. She did start kind of willing the sensors to pick up something so that she would have a reason to mess with the console, even though she knew that would probably be a really bad situation to be in.

She left with Harper and eventually found herself on the bridge of the Alliance vessel. It was a lot bigger than she was used to that was for sure. Daphne sat down in the Pilot chair, and just looked down at the console in front of her. It definitely wasn't a Firefly vessel that was for sure. She didn't really care much for Harper himself, but she let him explain things, since he clearly knew the ship far better than she did. The Alliance ship was different, and she was having problems figuring out some of the controls. However, she was a somewhat fast learner and soon she understood how the ship flew.

Daphne couldn't stop herself from admiring the ship. She hated the Alliance, but as usual Dorothy had been truly right about their technology. It was truly amazing, since she had never been at the helm of an Alliance vessel before. She did appreciate Harper allowing her to look around during his explanations, but she could still hear him, so she knew what he was talking about. When he finally reached the end of his little lesson on the Alliance vessel, and asked about questions, she tried to think about anything that might help her out to ask. She shook her head slightly, "Nope, can't think of anything," she told him and went back to looking at the controls.

She didn't notice Harper enter the room until he spoke, and she was perfectly fine with him hearing what she had said before he had entered the room. Truthfully she didn't really care much for the Alliance pilot, and it bugged her that he didn't knock on the door since she and Dorothy were having a conversation, and he decided to just interrupt. Sheesh, she didn't like how rude some of the Alliance personnel could be. Daphne couldn't disagree with what the captain had suggested, her learning more about the ship and all.

She wasn't surprised that Dorothy immediately introduced herself. She knew that her sister was ex-Alliance military and figured that if she thought that she should, that was ok with her. Her sister jumping to protect her in the same sentence is what surprised her. Sure, she was the younger sibling and it made sense for Dorothy to be a little more protective, but it bugged her to think that she did it while she was sitting there and hadn't really gotten to know Harper yet. Daphne was not too happy, and to think that just a few minutes ago, she and Dorothy were having such a nice conversation, and then Harper walked in and now everything fell apart as usual.

She did have to agree with Dorothy on one thing, the Alliance had some pretty good tech, and this ship probably would handle better than the Vengeance did, even though she would rather be flying that ship than an Alliance vessel. She turned to Harper, figuring that she needed to give him an answer instead of standing there caught up in her thoughts all day. She had been wanting to do something besides sit around anyway. "Alright, let's get going than," she said as she headed out towards the hallway.

Location: Med Bay

She followed her sister to the Med Bay, and walked up with her to check on Gideon. Sure, to her medical knowledge was useless as she generally wasn't able to do anything about her injuries if something happened in the cockpit. It gave her something to do, and she needed to do something, she just couldn't sit still. The information that appeared on the small screen that Dorothy held made no sense to her, even after she had explained it. Daphne always preferred flying a ship more than anything else, but she wasn't about to tell her sister that she found this boring.

When Dorothy mentioned what had happened before they boarded the Alliance vessel, the memories came running back. She hadn't truly been that close Jackson, she had generally talked to him more than anyone else on Vengeance, including her own sister. However, when Dorothy was quiet and said nothing afterwards, Daphne remembered that her sister had left her alone with their family on Boros. It did make her smile slightly though that Dorothy was there for her now.

"I'm fine, even though we did lose a few people... Right now the only thing I wish is that I wasn't putting my life in the hands of an Alliance pilot. Better hope the guy doesn't crash this thing".

She noticed Genevieve start talking to the woman who had spoken up first, and moved a little ways away from them so that they could talk to one another. Daphne noticed that several members of the crew had stayed behind, and she figured that they all had business with the Captain. She had learned a while ago that it was best not to ask questions unless things directly affected her, and most of the time things didn't involve her.

She heard her sister come out of the room and call to her. Daphne turned around and listened to what she said. She didn't have much to do, since she wasn't flying the ship and had nothing better to do, helping out in the Med Bay wouldn't be too bad in her opinion. She looked over at her sister and smiled, "Sure, I've got nothing else to do. Lead the way jie jie".

Location: Conference Room

Daphne had to suppress the urge to laugh when the Captain mixed her up with Dorothy, but she was used to it by now. She was glad that Anisa had some confidence in her piloting abilities. There were so many people in the room, that Daphne was more interested in them than the rest of the conversation. She knew her orders, and that was all that really mattered to her. Her sister was going to be busy again in the medical area while Daphne didn't have anything to do, since someone else was still going to be flying the ship.

When she heard Anisa dismiss the crew, she was slow leaving the room. Daphne noticed the Alliance pilot hanging back, and wondered what business he had with the Captain. She thought about hanging back, but decided against, figuring that Anisa would kick her out of the room anyway. Daphne left the room, and started trying to figure out what to do now, and how that meeting was probably going to be the highlight of her day.

Location: Conference Room

Daphne glanced around the room, eyeing the Alliance crew members. She figured that they would try and take control of the ship, and she didn't trust them. The whole situation was strange and, unlike her sister, Daphne was not used to being on an Alliance vessel. She still didn't like the fact that she wasn't really flying the ship, and the pilot could be flying them to an Alliance planet for all she knew. The entire group were strange, and so was the fact that she was on an Alliance vessel, and was not under arrest or anything.

She listened to Anisa's voice, and just nodded. The woman had mentioned shooting them if need be, and Daphne silently hoped that no on was trigger happy. Otherwise this entire thing could blow up in their faces. The one woman stood up and spoke, and Daphne had to agree with her question, though she hated to admit it.
