Liam returned to the group, ready to head out.
Liam called Oak's lab and sent the Pokemon he used in the tournament there. He also took one, pokemon to travel with him from there.
"I'm from Blackthorn City in Johto." Liam replied.
"So, you chose Froakie huh?" Liam inquired. He also asked what town Ryan was from.

Liam noticed the boy with a Froakie on his head. "Hello, I'm Liam." He said with a smile and outstretched hand.
Liam decided on the name, Scarlet for his starter.

The plane landed in Luminose City. The door opened and Prof Augustine Sycamore stepped out in took a deep breath. "Welcome to Kalos!" He exclaimed to our heroes. He then led them to his lab and shared idle small talk with them. A Garchomp greeted them when they arrived at the lab.
"What a friendly Garchomp." Liam commented. Sycamore explained the story on how he met Garchomp and handed each of the heroes the Pokemon they wanted, both of whom wanted Fenniken. Liam noted his was female and was trying to decide on a nickname.
