"'H'"? Liam asked. "Sounds like the code name of a character from a spy film to me." Liam replied. He switched his Pokedex to sort alphabetically, "There are 27 known pokemon whose name starts with an 'H'. That portal had to have been made by a psychic Pokemon, which assuming this isn't a new Pokemon leaves two possibilities. But this is beyond the known scope of one of them. It has to be this one." Liam handed his Pokedex to Shiranui.

[ "Hoopa, the Mischief Pokemon. It gathers things it likes and pushes them through its loop to teleport them to a secret place. Its loops are said to have the power to warp space." ]

A pair of Wigglytuff came and returned the heroes balls to them.

Liam went to the Pokemon Center and handed over his poke balls to Joy.

Wulfric explained to them that they had to head east to get to the Pokemon League finals. They then had to turn left out on Route 21. Liam thanked him for the info. "Shall, we go heal up and head out?"

At the gym, Wulfric was waiting for the two. He stood there with his arms folded. "Ah, you made it." He said unfolding his arms. The official explained that they would each use three Pokemon, in addition to the normal gym battle rules. Wulfric called on Abomasnow and Liam sent out Scarlet the Delphox.

Snow Warning started.
"Sunny Day!" Liam called. The Hail storm was halted and replaced with intense sunlight.
"Shadow Ball!" Wulfric called.
Scarlet was hit.
"Fire Blast!" Liam called. The fire attack hit Abomasnow dead on and one shotted it.
"Abomasnow is unable to continue, Delphox wins." The official called. Wulfric recalled Abomasnow for Avalugg.

"Avalugg, the Iceberg Pokemon. Its ice-covered body is as hard as steel. Its cumbersome frame crushes anything that stands in its way. The way several Bergmite huddle on its back makes it look like an aircraft carrier made of ice."

Liam again called for Fire Blast. Avalugg fell like a ton of bricks. Liam, the official, and Wulfric all wore stunned looks on their face. Liam didn't realize Scarlet was this strong.

"Av-Avaluug is unable to continue, Scarlet wins." The official said. Wulfric recalled it and sent out his final Pokemon, Cryogonal.

Liam was surprised. He tried to keep his composure.
"Cryogonal, Night Slash"
Scarlet learned and used Blast Burn. The attacks collided and made a huge explosion. It took several minutes for the dust to settle. Both Pokemon were panting heavily. Scarlet was now in need of recharging, and Blaze had activated while the dust cloud was up.
"Night Slash again." Wulfric ordered. Cryoginal fired the attack just before losing consciousness. Scarlet was hit. She was knocked out as well.

"Neither Pokemon is able to continue, this battle is a draw. Because the Gym Leader Wulfric is out of Pokemon, the winner is Liam Coleman of Blackthorn City!" Wulfric was impressed and gave Liam the Iceberg Badge.

"Max....Max," said a small voice. Max stirred. He saw a small white creature that resembled an angel of some sort. Max screamed. "What are you?"
"My name is Kyupimon Max." It replied.
"How do you know my name, and where am I?"
"I have been waiting for you Max, that is why I know your name. Welcome to the Digital World!"
"What's a 'Digital World'?" Max inquired. Kyupimon didn't answer the question and began to trod off. Max realized his surroundings were jungle-like.
'Hey, Kyupimon." Max called. "Where are you going?"
"To find the others." He replied. "After all, there is safety in numbers."
"Well, you have a point there." Max replied as he followed. He then stopped. "Wait, what do you mean 'others'?"

Max was in his room. He had removed his school uniform and changed into more comfortable clothes. He was used to being home alone, with all the late hours his father worked. After having talked with a friend online he went on to other things online. The screen went white. a streak of red rocketed out of the screen and dropped something in his hand. It was a device with a screen and looked like a futuristic video game handheld. It was matte Black with red accents. Max questioned what it was and then he realized that the bright light was getting brighter. Max felt a vacuum sensation starting to suck him into the screen. He grabbed on to the desl to try and keep from being sucked in. His shoes were picked up by an unseen force and propelled toward the screen, hitting Max in the back of the head, allowing him to be sucked in, he lost consciousness.
