"Sweep with Charge Beam!" Liam called. Sherlock crossed his spoons. A ball of electricity formed at the cross point. Sherlock swept through the Dark Pulses, causing each one to explode, and Shiranui's points to drop a bit.

"Psycho Cut into Safeguard!" Liam called. The psychic blade slashed through the attack while Safeguard protected Sherlock from the poison that was sent flying. Shiranui's points had dropped a tad, much like Liam's did with his not flashy move from a few seconds ago.

Liam called for a Miracle Eye, to allow Sherlock's Psychic moves to be able to hurt Zoro. Sherlock's eyes flashed blue for an instant and removed his opponent's immunity. It may not have been a flashy maneuver, but it was laying groundwork for later.

Sherlock beat the other coordinator's Breloom. Liam knew that he was in trouble with the final matchup, as his opponent would be immune to Sherlock. Liam took his place on the stage when he was called.

Johanna's Umbreon made quick work of the opposing Sunflora. and Sherlock defeated the opposing Lairon by the timer expiring. the next match would be Shiranui vs Johanna.

Liam ran out onto the stage, a highly polished Pokéball grasped in his left hand. "Sherlock! Come on out!" The Shiny Alakazam emerged. "Alright, Double Team!" Liam ordered. The Alakazam generated two copies. "Now Confusion!" Sherlock pulled some sand from across the whole beach and made an orb of sand.
"Now, Charge Beam and Energy Ball!" The blast of electricity from one of the copies and the ball of green energy from the other hit the bubble of sand, resulting in a small explosion, the result of which was a green colored ball of glass, that tinted the area with green as the sun shone through it.

Fantastic display of moves.
Green glass is remarkable!

"Hello, and welcome to Slateport Beach's Pokémon Contest!" The MC announced. "My name is Vivian Meridian, and I will be MCing the contest. As always, we have our three lovely judges, the head of the pokémon contest committee, Mr. Contesta!
"I'm looking forward to a brilliant display of style from all of you." Contesta said.
"The head of the Pokémon Fan Club, Mr. Sukizo!
"Slateport's beach is remarkable!

and Slateport's very own, Nurse Joy!
"Everyone be sure to stay hydrated on this hot day!" Joy advised.
"With the introductions out of the way, let the contest begin with contest #1, from Eckurteak City, Johto, the new champ of Kalos, Shiranui Tsukiko!"
