"Well, unless Chuck shares where they are hidden with us, there isn't much we can do to help," Liam said. "He'll reach out to us if he needs help." Liam produced a small pile of plane tickets from his bag. "That said, I have our plane tickets to get us to Galar in a few weeks. The tickets had varying starting locations based on what region the person called home. For instance, Liam's and Shiranui's had Goldenrod City as the departure city. He passed those tickets around to the appropriate persons. "Those flights are in a few weeks, meanwhile Shiranui and I's plane back to Johto leaves today."

"Yeah." Chuck said, also angry. "So I'm going to need to head over there now to check up on everyone, make sure they're all doing alright. I may not see you guys again until we get to Galar."

"OK, be safe Chuck," Liam said as he bid his friend farewell for now.

Liam's somber look quickly turned to one of anger at the mention of Nigel's name. "He did what?!"

"Liam stopped to think about it, "Yeah, that makes sense," Liam said. He fixed the keystone into the slot on the Z Power Ring. "It still feels odd to not have that bracelet though" Liam commented as he looked at the tan lines on his wrist from where the band had rested more or less since he got it in his first year of his journey.

"What's going on?" Chuck asked, walking up to them.

"I was ambushed last night by Cassidy and Billiam. They destroyed the bracelet that held my keystone for Mega Evolution. I might have to go to Lavender Town and ask Mr. Fuji if he can help me out. I mean, he gave Shiranui and myself our keystones when we saved him from some Rockets in Lavender Town's tower."

Shiranui saw the explosion from his room and was curious/worried about what happened. He noticed Liam sans Mega Bracelet after he met up the following morning. "What happened to your Mega Bracelet?" he asked.

"I went out for a walk last night. Cassidy and Biff ambushed me and tried to steal my keystone to use with a Houndoom and Houndoomite they had in their possession. Unforetently for Cassidy and Bubba a Fire Blast/Devastating Drake combo sent them sky-high."

Joy approached Liam and told him that she recommended sending Glalie somewhere to rest for a while after what happened, to which Liam explained that Glalie dove in front of Liam to protect him from Houndoom's attack.

The next morning Liam had gotten up and around. He entered the main room of the Pokémon Center and waited for his friends. He was sure they had all heard the explosion and knew that they would all most likely be observant enough to no notice that his Mega Bracelet was no longer on his wrist. Lim figured this meant he might have to go to Lavender Town and pay Mr. Fuji a visit, hopefully, he could replace the bracelet.

Liam had trouble falling asleep. He quietly snuck out of the Pokémon Center to go for a walk. While walking down the beach, A blonde girl and a guy with Aqua hair leapt out in front of him.

"To infect the world with devastation!"
"To Blight the people of every nation,"
"To denouce the goodness of truth and love!"
"To extend our wrath to the stars above!"
"Cassidy,"
"and Butch of course!"
"We're Team Rocket, circling the globe all day and night!"
"Surrender now or you'll surely lose the fight!"

Liam just stared at them blankly as they ran through the motto.
"Seriously, it seems like just about every Rocket duo has their little motto. Do you mind? I'm trying to relax."
"Isn't that cute? This little runt wants to relax? " Cassidy jeered.
"Well, we'll just put him to beddy-bye then and take his Pokémon." Butch chuckled as the duo both tossed a black pokéball emblazoned with a red "R" on it. A Hypno emerged from one while a Houndoom emerged from the other.

"Hypno, use Hypnosis!" Butch ordered.
Liam tossed out a Luxury Ball and Glalie emerged. "Glalie, Sheer Cold!" The OHKO move hit before Hypno knew what was going on, leaving it frozen solid.
"Houndoom, Flamethrower that runt! " Cassidy called pointing at Liam. Glalie leapt in front and took the blast being OHKO'd.
"Glalie!" Liam cried. He quickly recalled the Ice-Type. "OK, time to get serious," Liam said tossing two Luxury Balls in the air, Goodra and Smaug the Charizard emerged. "Smaug, Mega Evolve!" Liam went to activate the keystone on his wrist, only to feel something slice the band off as it started. Liam turned to see a Weavile sneering. Liam hypothesized that Weavile had stacked Hone Claws and used Metal Claw when it destroyed the band. The Weavile grabbed the Megaband and tossed it to Cassidy. It was at this point that Liam noticed that Houndoom had the Houndoomite.
"Oh, no you don't!" Liam said. "Smaug, Iron Tail that Weavile toward Cassidy and Biff!"
Butch was so distracted shouting about being called the wrong name again that he was paying attention and the Weavile slammed right into him. Liam did the motions for Devastating Drake and had Smaug's Fire Blast used as well with the Z-move propelling the fire move. In a huge explosion, the Rockets were sent flying as Cassidy dropped the Mega bracelet, but the band was still busted beyond repair. Liam recalled Goodra and Smaug and went back to get some sleep. He would have to figure out what to do about his keystone in the morning.

It was starting to get late and the heroes only had a couple more days in Alola. After that Liam was going to spend a week at home to relax before his exhibition match with Galar's undefeated champion, Leon. He had heard a bit about the Dynamax Phenomon that Galar has, and he was interested in seeing it in action. As Liam sat in his room at the Pokémon Center and looked out the window, he glanced down at his Z Power Ring and began to reminisce about everything that happened while he was here in Galar.
